I just completed my second visit to Manor Vision and was very satisfied. I went in for a yearly eye exam. Their staff did a great job explaining my exam options and how they would affect final payment. The staff member who performed the various eye imaging/photos prior to seeing Dr. Shah was very kind and did a great job helping me understand what I needed to do at each station. Payment and gathering my prescription details on the way out was also handled timely and professionally. My eye exam was performed my Dr. Shah, she also fit me for contacts. I found her very friendly and professional. Everything from discussing my vision and medical history to the examination to thoroughly explaining things along the way were all done to a high and friendly standard. I especially appreciated the time she took explaining the various images they took of both my eyes. As for the facility, it's all kept very clean, including equipment. I was 15 minutes late to my appointment because I had to run home and grab my breast pump. I was unable to pump at work because of how busy I was. As a breastfeeding mom, I would hope for some grace but the front office staff was rude and inconsiderate. In addition, why isn't this "policy" published on the website nor shared with patients beforehand? I will be taking my business elsewhere and do not recommend this place for breastfeeding, working moms. read more

I was hoping to find a good optical center here in town, close to home. Unfortunately, Manor Vision is not it. The optician does a decent job for exams but customer service in general is pretty lackluster. It took me three calls to get our insurance information entered correctly in the system. When we went in to pick up glasses, it felt like no one was around to do anything. When someone finally showed up, they helped a person in front of us in line and quickly got into a bit of an argument with them. They told the customer that they needed to call a phone number and that they couldn't help them. When it came time to help us, we got our glasses, but little else in terms of service. There must be other places to go in the Austin area better than this. read more

Iv been wearing glasses since 2nd grade. As a broke adult Iv been going to several discount opticians and this time I chose Manor Vision Source instead and it was so totally worth it! The office is extremely beautiful and clean. It feels super modern just like the equipment they use. Now the staff wasn't great ... they were excellent! Dr Horning got my script perfect! As someone who doesn't typically get upset easily, I feel it's necessary to share my subpar experience with Manor Vision. While the receptionist and technician demonstrated good manners, Dr Shelvi Shah performance was underwhelming. Following my appointment and examination, I was given glasses that failed to correct my vision. Upon trying them on, I couldn't see clearly and notified the staff. They suggested I wait a few days to adjust, but I knew something was amiss. After additional testing, the doctor claimed that my dry eyes necessitated a 1-2 month adjustment period to the new glasses. I've never encountered an optometrist who recommended such an extended adjustment period. I requested a refund and received a minimal amount. Due to my disappointing experience, I would advise others to avoid Manor Vision. Horrible experience, I could of just ignored my own opinion and go with hers, but also if I did listen to her I could be a possible risk to others and myself on the road.. she gave the wrong prescription.. and refused to acknowledge she was wrong.. be careful, I should of read the reviews before I went.... I will read reviews on Google, as i am not the only customer that had this horrible experience. Do not waste your time and money.. huge rip off, they stole my money and refused to give me a refund for their mistake.. read more

From start to finish, I really loved my experience here. The only downside I will note is that if you don't have insurance, it's pretty expensive so you may want to call and ask about pricing if that's a concern beforehand. read more

The glasses selection was *alright*- could be better. It was very clean, they wiped down everything. Everyone had face masks. My wife and baby were able to be there to help me choose glasses. After insurance we still had to pay a pretty penny for the service and glasses, but that might just be industry price. read more

Capable doctor and technician, great equipment, but entry/exit staff could be better (should wear masks and be more germ-conscious/touchless). Using a vision plan is always tricky, but staff should be more transparent about charges. Highly disappointed with my experience with Manor Vision. The reception first misquoted us pricing, then we do a contact exam at the correct price. The whole reason we did this is because we set an appt a month before a trip we had planned out of country and my son was ready for contacts vs glasses that could get lost. It took 3 weeks to the day to get the trials just in time for our trip or so we thought. They called to tell us that they had finally arrived but that legally they couldn't release them till the dr checked them on my son and that the dr was going to be out for 2 weeks. The person that called said the dr was booked this week, the manager then got on the phone and said the dr was not in and was out till they come back. Sounds like the dr was there and the manager thought it was easier to just say they were already on vacation. They wouldn't give me his contact prescription that I paid for either because they said it's not finalized till the dr see him put on the contacts so I can't even go somewhere else. This place operates like they could care less about their patients and everything is $$ signs to them. I do not recommend them and will not be returning. read more

I ordered sunglasses from Mina, at that time, she said that they would be ready in two weeks. Two weeks had passed, so I tried calling multiple times and only got a voicemail. Mina did finally call me back. She said the sunglasses were shipping out the following Monday, and I could pick them up Wednesday. After several phone calls with no answer, I went to the store. Mina then tells me that my sunglasses will be shipped the following Monday and will be ready for pick up Thursday. I told her that was pretty much what she told me the week before. She said she didn't know who I spoke to. I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor. She said there is none in this week, but she could give me her card. The manager's card has the exact same number that I've called for weeks with no answer. I got a refund. It was a waste of over three weeks waiting for sunglasses that never seemed to move or be made for all I know. read more

Staff is very friendly and has no problem being personable with their clients. We walked in to smiles and laughing! The appointment went great and they were so patient and worked well with my child who is 6yrs old. During our time picking out glasses my son engaged in an imaginary gun battle with the receptionist which was completely heart warming! Dr. Nguyen, the receptionist, and the optician were all wonderful. I arrived for my appointment and was taken back on time. I love that you can fill out the paperwork online in advance, saves time. The equipment is modern and brand new-I has an optomap done, a peripheral field test done, and some other thing but I forgot what it was. Then it was on to having my current prescription checked and updated. It had been a few years since I got a new pair of glasses and I really needed them since I strained in my current eyeglasses. The optician there, I think her name was Lisa? Anyway she was so patient and helpful while I looked through the selection of glasses before settling on a pair I liked. Then she was able to order me a new pair of sunglasses identical to my current pair because I love them so much, even though they didn't have them in the store, with the new prescription! Everyone there was friendly and professional. It was a really pleasant trip to the optometrist. Plus, it's super convenient if you live nearby.
