I LOVE the lehenga I got at Manshaa. I knew nothing about Indian attire but I needed something for my friends wedding. Everyone was so nice and they walked me through all the options. I was looking at ready made options first but nothing was really standing out in terms of color and design and no matter what I'd need it altered so they suggested custom making one instead! It was still within my price range of $300. And I got to choose the exact color I wanted, the style of top, how poofy I wanted the skirt and everything was made to fit me perfectly. (They took my measurements). It took about 3 weeks to make and we made small adjustments when I tried it on and it was so perfect! The color was gorgeous and the whole fit was amazing. read more

I bought outfit from here almost 10 years ago which I am still regretting. Price was outrageous and use of poor material. I agree with other customers do not pay upfront if you are not going home with it. Alteration prices were sky high which now that I think of it should've been included in the price. And alterations were messed up so I had to come back and forth. I would not purchase from here ever again. Looks high end when you enter but then you will leave with regret. Let me start with the positive - I selected an item that I loved. Mostly because the item and pricing were more reasonable than most items there. Once you like an item - the salesmanship kicks in. Also convincing and mostly pleasant. Everything was downhill from there. Between alterations and shipping I never received the item for atleast 3 weeks (local shipping). This is a problem because we were promised alternation in a week and then shipping for the item. When we contacted them in 3 weeks we were told we never asked for shipping and no one came to try the item. If the intent was for us to try the item - we should have received a call to know it's ready. Also did not happen. This is after they have collected full price for the item. My advice to anyone is never pay full price if you're not buying the item and going home with it immediately. Also, it's better you don't ask for alternations from the studio. I will not indulge in more painful communication details. The conclusion basically is while you might find something you like - the customer service and pricing will eventually make you question why you even bought anything from here in the first place. Poor customer service, communication and services. read more

Be careful ye who tread here. There are no returns of any kind and the upsell is real. I found 1/2 of the items I bought here for half or less than half the amount I paid from other sources. We first met Archana in 2013 when we asked her to design a lace sari for my high school graduation party. She put so much love and care into the piece, to this day it's one of my favorite saris. The blouse piece, adorned with intricate sequins stitch work, is exceptionally beautiful. Last year she helped me design a sari gown for my cousin's wedding. As a student, my budget was very tight, but she worked with me tirelessly to ensure I could find a suitable fit within my budget. AMAZING! We live in Arizona and they made sure to make everything perfect for my Quinceañeara (my mom is Mexican & and my dad is Indian). We had a zoom meeting and she guided me through measuring. The dress measurements came out great. The only hiccup was the dress was a little too long, but the tailor fixed it within the hour. She also made sure to keep the dresses in my budget. From the moment I met him, he was sweet, attentive, and treated me like a friend. I brought in pictures of what I wanted and he worked with me to create a custom design that was within my budget. The dresses had many variety of styles and came in all different colors. Everything was stunning. They also had a seamstress on duty to help you with any fitting questions. I went to Manshaa not knowing what to expect. I was to attend various wedding events and was unable to travel to India to purchase attires. I went to Cerritos and walked past Manshaa (the fancy store). I was hesitant to visit the store since I was skeptical that the outfits would not live up to my expectations. Through our conversation, she realized I loved color, not really into anything jazzy and a bit old fashioned.
