I was contacted a short time later that someone would be out between noon and 4. Relieved, I got back to work. It was close to 3 when the nice young man arrived. I let him in and ge went right to work. Less than 30 minutes later, he'd cleaned out and tightened everything that caused the issue. The cost was $120. Despite that, the technician still showed up around 1000. When I explained to Tye that I had attempted to cancel earlier that morning, he responded with "we're done here" in a rude tone and stormed out of my home, slamming both my front door and storm door. I understand that cancellations can be frustrating, but I made a good-faith effort to notify the company well in advance. Acting disrespectfully inside a customer's home is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the business. Based on this interaction alone, I would not feel comfortable working with this company in the future.

I was having problem with my current furnace and wanted to determine if repair or a new system was the best option. After Rob laid out many options, I decided to go new. Although a new system was a larger investment than repairing the existing system, going this route was the best long term solution to having the proper heating and cooling system for my property. The old adage "you get what you paid for" is very true. A few things really resonated with me regarding Rob and his company: the passion he has for his craft, the goal to service the customer to 100% satisfaction and his overall integrity through the entire process. A few examples of integrity: * Rob didn't belittle the former work or system. Instead, he focused on what solutions his company had to offer, stating, "For some this is only a business. When we do work, it's our Picasso". * When going through all the options of what I could do Rob stated, "No is a perfectly acceptable answer". No high pressure tactics here, just straight up and honest. Again, this stated to me Rob was in for the long haul, not the quick one-time buck! * Finally, when the job was complete, Rob provided me with options related to a maintenance plan. Previously, I had another H&A company come into my house and selling me a maintenance plan was their first priority vs. doing the work. I won't put my name directly in this review, but if Rob ever needs a recommendation or a potential customer wants to speak with me for a reference, I will do that for Rob and S&R Appliance in a HEARTBEAT! Quality work and people and the price for the package was extremely reasonable. Jordan, our sales guy, was simply amazing. He walked through our house with us to talk options, was very honest and told us what he thought we did (and didn't) need. Also, he scheduled the AC install just one day before a huge heat wave. ("Let me see if I can pull some strings to get this installed before it's too hot.") During install the electrician found that our furnace's transformer had blown. Jordan arranged for their "furnace whisperer" to come out that same afternoon to take a look, free of charge. It was fixed within 30 minutes. I will say that there was a wiring snafu with the AC unit, causing it to short the fuse a couple weeks after we got it. Jordan had given me his personal cell number, so I texted him with the issue and he sent someone out that same day (literally the 4th of July, a Saturday). The issue was resolved in just a few hours after the text. Would recommend Snelling in a minute. They were friendly, honest, and took care of us the entire way.

When we brought up our concerns directly to the sales rep, particularly the way he was treated him as a person of color. This company dismissed his experience and tried to justify it as something else.
