Bad service my wife had a bad time and said poor management. Every time she went in she would come home and tell me that David would always yell at the employees and treat them very poorly. They don't try to understand customers wants and do what they think should be done every time . The pedicure chairs always had previous paraffin wax , and callus all over them from not being deep cleaned . I walked in a few time and everytime the owner David is always smoking which bring a bad scent from outside and I never see him wash his hands before working on customer which is poor hygiene. The gentleman, who's name I did not get, went straight to work and when I left the cuticles on both my thumbs were bleeding and continue to bleed a day later. I had one of the worst nails jobs done at this place. First off, she drilled filed) my power dip off, did not soak it off. She kept burning me. My nails are so thin now they hurt. I had a scheduled appt, and they took a walk-in before me. As I sat in luke warm water waiting, they never put anything in the water till a few minutes before the tech started. So there was no benefit to it. The tech was too busy talking to other techs to pay any attention to detail. When Tina needed to get up and walk around to get something, she had to keep pulling her shorts down so her bottom and all her girl bits didn't show...that's how short they were. I ordered the deluxe pedi and she never once touched the heels of my feet. I rarely will say anything unless you're hurting me. I just won't go back. She also did not do a good job on the nail polish. She didn't paint the tips of the nails, and all you can see is the white nail blaring out from the tips. Will not go back, especially for having higher prices than everyone else. No quality here either. Come on San Angelo businesses..do better! This review is for the new ownership. read more

Just went there to get a pedicure. The front desk lady isn't very pleasant but the ones who do the actual pedicure was awesome. The only thing I would recommend is the lights. They don't have the lights that make your nails dry good. Other than that everything was pretty good. read more

The guy who did my gel manicure and pedicure was awful. He was not friendly and did such a sloppy job on both my hands and feet. I had to pay an extra 20$ to get gel for my hands and feet each and it's already chipping two days later. Not to mention the gel polish is so uneven and spotty. I will never go here again. read more

Their color selection is awesome because they have the same colors in gel, regular, and dip, which makes it a little easier if you want to get a matching color on your toes. This was my third time to come here for a pedicure. The first time went really well. The second time was rougher due to the fact I was skipped and when I spoke up they told me the other people had appointments. It would have been nice to be told that it would be a longer wait due to standing appointments. This last time will be my last time to come here. I came on the anniversary of my daddy passing away hoping to get a little relaxation. Unfortunately it did not happen and it only stressed me out and made me furious. I asked for a pedicure. The gentleman that did it was not very friendly and the extra $8 I paid for a massage and sugar scrub was a complete waste. Towards the end of my pedicure a young lady asked me to choose a color for my nails which I then explained that I just wanted a pedicure but I could choose a color for when I returned. She then comes back and tells me that they would like for me to go ahead and dip my nails in nail remover. I again explained I did not want a manicure. She goes to tell the owner who then sends another girl to tell me the same thing. I tell her no. The owner then comes and starts demanding me to dip my nails in the nail remover. By then I was so frustrated I just did it so they would leave me alone. He then says - oh yes - you just wanted pedicure. He then just removes the top layer of my nail polish which was a dip and left them looking horrible. I was not planning to get a manicure but my nails looked so terrible I went to a different nail salon to get them done. I will never go back. Horrible experience. read more

Did not give a 5 because was offered nothing to drink while there ( not even water-it was very hot outside. I walked in about 2 in the afternoon ) I saw several others were offered something to drink as soon as they walked in . Let me preface this by saying, I have always given a tip at any nail salon I've ever been to...even if the service was subpar. I gave a $0 tip today. This was the worst experience I've ever had. I walked through the door and they led me to a pedicure chair and had me soak my nails which lasted for 30 minutes. The entire time nobody checked on me or said anything to me. I felt that 30 minutes was a bit too excessive to be soaking my nails with no communication. When I was finally brought over for my manicure, the guy did not say anything to me. As he was working on my nails he abruptly got up from the table and left me sitting there with no explanation. About 10 minutes later, a new guy sat down and began working on my nails, again, no sort of reasoning as to why the first guy left or what the new guy was about to do. I looked down at my nails and they were all bumpy and the color was nothing like I expected. The first guy obviously messed up. The second guy did do a fairly decent job fixing them, but again he abruptly got up and left. I went to the front desk and asked if they were finished because nothing was said to me. The girl nicely apologized and said yes you are done. As stated earlier, I did not leave a tip and this is the first time I have ever NOT left a tip...for anything! Needless to say, I will not be back to Mansion Nails & Spa. I will be going back to Avalon where they do a wonderful job and for five dollars cheaper! read more

Was asked to sit at one of the nail tables. 15 minutes later someone asked me if I was getting a dip I said no just a manicure. Another 15 minutes pass by still nobody has come to help me and the lady comes up to me and said we are really busy you are going to wait a long time. How ridiculous they tell me 30 minutes after I have been sitting and waiting to be helped. Honestly I am sure if I was getting a dip or a more expensive service they would have helped me or not said anything about them being "too busy". I understand salons are busy but don't have me sit there for 30 minutes and then tell me you are too busy. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. They split me up from my group, I paid $27 dollars for a "pedicure" that literally includes cutting my nails, and someone massaging my legs for NO MORE than 8 minutes and then them painting them thats it! Then I asked multiple times if they could do my fingers and toes at the same time and they said yes and then the whole time I was getting my toes done there were people off who could be doing my fingers but they just didnt. Then when I FINALLY got someone to do my fingers I was moved people three times the first guy I was happy with then they moved me, and the girl didn't even speak english so she just went along with whatever she though I wanted and didn't know how to explain when she messed up or when she didn't know what I wanted and she cut my finger. Then she looked up on youtube how to do marble nails and TOOK FOREVER and I ultimately was switched back to the first person who started on my nails to finish them. SO after spending 3 hours there, unhappy with my nails, paying $80, the next day I went to another nail salon and will never go back. read more

I have been going there for at least a year. At first they were great however the last couple of times I have had awful experiences. I will not return. I have been getting powder dip manicures. Last week when I went in I was seated at a table that was not clean and did not get cleaned before the technician began. When I showed him what color I wanted he told me "no" too sheer, will see through. I told him that was fine, it he would not do it so I picked another color...they didn't have it. I did this for at least 5 colors and he continued to tell me they didn't have it. So I asked for a color I had used before, once again no. I was very frustrated by then and if he had not already begun to remove my polish I would have left. So finally I was directed toward a color and I went with it. He then started to apply it without removing all of my old polish and I asked why. He said the word "boss" and I said take the old polish off. He got up and walked away. I was given another technician who finished the manicure. He was fine only in such a hurry he cut 2 of my fingers while filing. This salon has really gone downhill. read more

I'm new in town and read Google reviews before coming. First got there was pretty busy, was asked to come back in an hour. I did come back and was immediately seated in a pedicure chair. First, thing nothing was put in the water to help soften feet, I thought all nail salons did this... next had a young lady hand me a menu I chose my pedicure and she went to work. After my pedicure I was getting new shellac on my nails. Mind you this was all done from the pedi chair. After looking at my pedi I was upset. It was lopsided. I chose a French manicure and pedi. My French shellac turned out awful. It was lopsided, my nails was filed at an angle and parts of my nail didn't even have polish on it. Then after looking harder, I still had my old shellac under the new shellac. The receptionist Cheyenne was amazing and super nice. But one problem, your manager seen the mistakes and only offered 15% off of $80 to help fix. They did offer to fix it but who wants to sit in a nail salon for another 3 hours to get them fixed? Not me!!!! Then the next day I noticed that my French tips is starting to change colors. I don't think I will go back. I will drive 8 hours back home to get my nails done before I do this again!!!! read more
