One word: RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL OK, that's 2! Been going for 5 years and am finally done. They don't know my name and frankly don't care. All they want is your money. Tipped 10.00 every time. 60.00 nails done. Always did good work (the husband of owner) but when you continually treat me as if I just walked in for the first time...I'm, done. After 5 years yes, i expect a little better treatment. Made me wait way too long just to get 1 nail done. Peace! Im out. Dont do RUDE. Well this little Nail Salon is my hidden gem of a nail salon, being from San Antonio I've learned that sometimes the smaller towns have people that care more, for example Don here is my favorite nail tech I've ever had, we don't talk much and sometimes I think it's slightly miscommunication between us, but he cares about the integrity of my nails more than anyone I've ever used. I would be so sad to not have him be my nail tech, because I've finally found someone who cares! As well as everyone else there, the owner treats everyone on his team like family, and because of that I've learned I truly love this entire salon! I went in for a gel mani & pedi and left with uneven nails, untreated gel toenail polish, and cut up toes. They didn't even trim the sides of my toe nails leaving potential ingrowns. I'm never a Karen but I truly regret even paying for this service. There was also a HUGE spider hanging out where the dip powder is displayed. They are really unpleasant people, and it's crazy that they charge nearly 80 dollars for short nails. They also did a bad job when doing my nails, making crude jokes about how I didn't want to pay more than 75 dollars for my really short almond nails read more

I went into the establishment inquiring dip nails. I was seated in which I told the woman i wanted medium sized matt square nails. When she began cutting the mail i asked her if she can go a bit longer because she was cutting way too short. She then began to throw a fit and began talking in a different language. I said nothing i just waited for her to cut the nail my size. I was on the phone with my cousin while she continued with an attitude to do my nails. Another woman walked up and stated "Are you on the phone?" and implied that I should get off the phone. I got off the phone and she stated "Fo you want dip or acrylic?" in which I stated "Dip" she told me my nails were too long for dip and told me it would be $60. I didn't mind the price I was just confused if she stated it was too long for dip what would the price change; clearly not her ability to do my nails. Midway through the last proceeding I asked if it would still be matt. She yelled "You have to wait for that!" after that she left my nails half done and got up and began working on someone's feet. I was very confused. A man came over and began doing my nails and since my person did change I didn't know if she communicated to him I wanted it matt in which i stated "hey sir?" about 6 times because he did not respond. It got so bad that siri popped up on my phone. He did do it and when I was paying decided to hover over the receipt expecting a tip. read more

This salon is rated as "the best nail salon in San Angelo 2019" LOL I don't know who gave them that rating, but it was definitely NOT the best. Their whole process on how to do nails is questionable. I went in for white tip acrylics and I did not get my cuticles removed or pushed back. The nail tech didn't even cut my nails down right and buff them out neatly. You can see how messy it is underneath! Also didn't even let me wash my hands after she finished with the machine and seemed to rush after a couple people showed up. I asked for square square and that may have been the only thing that came out decent. I could have done a better job myself. Disappointed overall. Definitely never going back. read more

After having waited for an hour, and still no results at CosmoSpa, my friend, my sister and law and I all decided to take a chance with fancy nails. We were seen within 10 minutes and I got exactly what I wanted. They aren't too chatty unless you're a regular, but my nails look beautiful. They even offered me a cocktail. The gentleman getting a manicure next to me was sucking down a bud light merrily, and there was a little girl who had a juice box down the table. Went in today because of the YELP reviews. What a mistake. First Judy cut my nails too short. I said "They are too short, I like my nails longer!". She said "You said short". I said "No, I said I like them longer". What can you do at that point? Nails will grow, I thought. No real biggie. Instead of trimming the cuticles, she use a nail sander that was all right on the nail itself, it smoothed any ridges, but doesn't push the cuticles back from the nail. Then, the finale...painting my nails. She did not put a clear base coat on before the color. I asked her if she was going to put a base coat on. She pointed to some product and said that was the base coat. Folks, anyone who gets a regular pedicure, knows what a base coat is! She then proceeded to put on the color, sloppily...2 coats. then took a brush and tried to correct a sloppy coverage. Well, it did not work very good. My big toe has color on the side where the nail meets the toe. The tips of the nails are bare, no color on the top edge. Save your money and spend it on another nail salon. The nails I got turned out really nice, it was also my first time getting my nails professionally done, but the guy who did them filled my nails (my real nails) down too much and now they are very thin. It is causing me lots of pain and discomfort, not allowing me to fully enjoy my acrilics. My mom spent 50 dollars for it as a birthday gift and I really want to remove them. If you're going to go here, I highly recommend Johnny! However, there is a very rude nail tech here who has a disgusting attitude and very sloppy work! I did not get her name but she is an average height, short highlighted hair, and a bit of facial hair. Whenever she was asked to fix something (I.e. - the temperature of the pedicure bowl water, the shape of toenail, and the size and shape of fingernails, etc) she would huff and puff and roll her eyes. I had to ask multiple times for her to fix certain things when there was a picture right there and eventually it got to the point that I just stopped asking and made up my mind that I would not be returning to this nail salon. I am still upset that I actually paid for the services rendered but lucky for them I am a decent and courteous individual. read more

My wife and her cousin went here today to get their eyebrows waxed and the lady that was doing her eyebrows continuously called her ugly, that her eyebrows were messed up, and the few pimples on her face were nasty. My wife told her that wasn't nice to say and she said that it was true. Once leaving the store my wife was very frustrated and her feelings were beyond hurt while telling her cousin the horror story that just unfolded. Her cousin went inside to talk to a manager, who in turned talked to the lady that did her eyebrows, and the lady that did her eyebrows would not apologize and said that it's true she's ugly. This experience for my wife was beyond unprofessional and we will never give them business again and will advise all family and friends in San Angelo to stay away. Go at your own risk! read more

I do not understand how a place like this has so many stars. It caused me to choose this salon, when I really wish I hadn't. Getting pedicures to celebrate birthday and graduation, and we chose to do the most expensive package. Well, the employees seemed far from thrilled, even though I called and made the appointments. They rushed the entire thing, didn't even paint my nails all the way, and left to go home before I even left the building. If you don't want any more pedicures, DONT ACCEPT THE APPOINTMENT. I also wasn't offered even a water, while my family sitting on each side of me was offered drinks both alcoholic and non. Meanwhile, because I look young, I was completely discounted. I am in fact 22, and would have loved to drink a beer while my family was, but they judged so hard without even bothering to care for me. BYE NEVER GOING HERE EVER. I walked in with no appointment and was seated fairly quickly. I received a pedicure which was very reasonably price. The young man that did my pedicure was professional, courteous, and thorough. The establishment isn't high end but given the price, I feel like I got my money's worth. I will come back the next time I visit San Angelo. read more

This place helped me deal with a very serious infection of my nails due to inproper work at another salon.

I went in for a pedicure and to get an ingrown toenail fixed. I got right in and the young gentleman worked on the toe first. He was gentle knowing that it was already painful. He was able to get the nail and cuticle cut back to relieve the pressure. The manicure was basic with a great massage to the lower leg and feet. I was offered a beverage and the service was great.
