The place was cute and I thought the price was reasonable for the quality I received. The building is not too obvious and sign was small so you have to look carefully. The Palladian is nestled at the end of a shopping strip area, next door to a real estate office off of Knickerbocker. The storefront leaves some to be desired, but don't judge this book by its cover. I read a few reviews on here that mentioned gossiping and I have to say I have not witnessed this either of the two times I was there for a massage. All employees I have interacted with have been nice and professional. The front desk is directly across from the front door and to the left is the waiting area. When I showed up for my first appointment (on a Saturday) it was quiet and tidy; same on my second appt. I was there both times for a massage (with Brandi) and she did an EXCELLENT job! I am no stranger to massages and so it is fair to say I am particular about having firm pressure and someone who is capable of working out knots. Brandi does a great job of both! She is also accommodating with me since I am nursing my infant and I require a little modification to stay comfortable during the massage. She is always professional and courteous and doesn't skimp on the time. Brandi is officially my go-to in this town for a massage and I've already sent my husband to see her too! If you're looking for a great massage at a great price, go see Brandi at the Palladian. You will NOT be disappointed! read more

Excellent 2 hour relaxing massage by Brian. Seriously walked out of there feeling A+. I have had a lot of back pain issues that I haven't really had the time to look into after two crazy deliveries. My last pregnancy went to 42 weeks and I was in killer back pain at the end. I should have seen a therapist earlier but very fortunate to have stumbled upon this place and Brian. The massage was very relaxing and therapeutic. It reminded me of a gentler sports massage or one akin to a massage you'd receive at a physical therapy place. Very good. Best massage ever! Jennifer Mitchell is top-notch! Warm massage table, great atmosphere. So relaxing I might have missed 15 minutes or so.

I have to admit, the atmosphere of this place is not very spa like. When you walk in the front door you are less than a step away from the front desk. The front desk people are a little rude, I'm not sure they even greeted me..just stared at me until I gave them my name. And in between treatments, I did notice a lot of employees standing around at the teeny front desk area to gossip. This is the VERY first thing people see when stepping inside. I have to say that they were able to get me a same day appointment for two back to back spa treatments. That can't be said for many other places. The hour long facial was just ok. The girl asked if there was anything I wanted to address and when I mentioned a few things I was concerned about she just suggested another, more expensive treatment that I would have to come back for. That's fine, I don't mind coming back for different treatments but I did expect maybe some slight tweaking of the treatment I was there to get or possibly some suggestions of things I could try at home, in between treatments. But I didn't get any of that. And the factial treatment I did receive I couldnt have give myself at home. The hour long massage, on the other hand, was wonderful. The room was spacious and dimly lit. The music was nice and relaxing. The massage was just right, just enough pressure to make me feel like jelly. I wish I would have spent my facial money on a longer massage. read more

If you are looking for a Brazilian wax in San Angelo, I couldn't be happier with Candice Ugalde's work. I am very particular about my Brazilian waxes, and I am pleased to say that I recommend Candice with the highest regards. I move around a lot, and have had a hard time finding a moderately priced Brazilian wax in west Texas. Candice is probably the best I have ever had. She is extremely professional, classy conversationalist, very efficient, thorough, and gets me in and out of there quickly. She does a great job the first time over a patch of hair, and therefore, does not need to do it over again. I appreciate that. I read a disgruntled review earlier, stating that Candice did not take the remaining wax residue off. Well, quite frankly, I appreciate rubbing any of the remaining wax off myself. She gives you a towel and wax removal lotion that works really well. I appreciate doing it myself, that way, I do not feel like I am getting wiped by another person like an infant on a changing table. Besides, every time that I have had someone else do that to me in another salon, more often than not, I have to go back over the area again. I appreciate Candice's method so that I can get in and out of the salon as soon as possible. I am going to move soon, but I have every intention of making appointments with Candice every time I return for work. I am THAT pleased with her work. read more

Went back for another massage and had a blast. Was so relaxed that I fell asleep during my fantastic facial. I had a manicure and pedicure that were amazing. For the first time ever I did not have someone yelling at me saying "too short." The paint did not peel off a day later and it look exquisite. Most of all the pedicure was done the BEST and MOST SANITARY way. I had a PERSONAL bowl to prevent cross contamination. I had my own mani/pedi tools and the file was given to me once everything was completed rather than used on another person. The prices are great. The people are great. Got a leg wax by Tammy. I have done this before else where so I thought it would be a quick 45 minutes. It took close to 3 hours. The wax was terrible and she did small areas at a time. Like I said I have done this else where many times and even though I am not an esthatician I know you don't wax an area over and over. She kept saying she didn't like to use the paper even though I preferred it I trusted her. She missed many areas and I went home super sticky and patchy. I will not go back read more

As I travel a lot for business I get the pleasure and some times displeasure of having to cold visit a place that my only resources is Yelp reviews. When I got to San Angelo I was past do for my routine Brazilian wax. But not being from here I had to go to reviews and hope for the best. I was tossed up between this place and another but the other place could not get me in for over a week. Any one that does Brazilian knows that keeping a schedule is important. So I made a appoiment and got in the next day. I did miss the place the first time I drove past it as it is tucked back in a corner and from the street you cannot see the address number one the building but soon doubled back and I was walking in the door 5 minutes early and Tammy was waiting for me. We went back to her room and after a signage of paperwork she went to the business at hand. I found Tammy to be very professional and pleasant the entire time I was there. It was relaxed and even though I was past due the waxing was fast and efficient with no extra discomfort from being late on my maintain. I was walking back out the door in half an hour ready to go back to work. I will say that as far as my Brazilian went it was a good experience and if I am ever in San Angelo again and in need of any waxing I would not hesitate to come here. read more

I love the Palladian Spa! I see Candice regularly every 4 weeks for a waxing and have been for over 2 years now. She does a fabulous job. She makes you feel very comfortable and gets the job done. She's quick and efficient. I was referred to her by several people and heard that she was the best in town. I would have to agree and will remain a loyal client. I've also had a massage there and I received excellent customer service. Again, I felt very comfortable and very satisfied with the treatment I received. The location of the Palladian Day Spa is very convienently located on knickbocker. I can only speak in regards to the waxing services since that is so far the only service I have received at the Palladian. I get brazilians waxes by Candace and I will say I have been waxing for over ten years and Candace is one of the best. She makes me comfortable; I never feel awkward or insecure around her. She also offers an ingrown hair treatment that has done wonders for me. As for pricing, it is very fair in my opinion. If you are new in town please don't judge the book by its cover this place is awesome and has lots to offer, ask for Candace you will not regret it! read more

The only reason I come to Palladian is to get my Brazilian waxes done by Candice. I absolutely love her professionalism and she does a great job every time. I was anxious for my first time but she was the sweetest and made me feel really comfortable so I've been going back ever since. She's also really flexible with appointment times which I love because of my crazy work schedule. I always tell my friends about her when they ask for recommendations. I wasn't super impressed. Candace was fifteen minutes late. The two ladies working the from desk and and text and chatted the whole time. I just didn't think it was very professional. She does strip wax which I'm also not crazy about, doesn't tweeze at the end and I had to clean myself up. After asking for a discount for Candace being late or a military discount, I was denied both. read more
