Im Armo, and no one makes a baked manti, anywhere. Hence, found this gem. So out of the way living in the valley, but me and sista were around the area, and said what the hell. Plunked down 10 bucks for a very big, filling portion (even had a bit leftovers and I am a very heavy eater), mind you this is the smallest of the 3 sizes. There are many armo grannies making this dish (the softer, soup kind), freezing and selling, but it aint quite close to the culinary feast my grandma used to make. Only one problem: she dead homie. I havent had baked in over 15 years. This was interesting, surprisingly good, and very very filling. I opt for the classic garlic and yogurt; the meat is spiced up nice and dough pinched to crispy perfection, served on a wax paper looks like a tortilla at distance! Dont fuck with chicken or veggie version. Not saying they would be bad but when in rome.....(or this case Anatolia) go with original. I enjoyed it very much. Opt for the straight yogurt as a side dipper, as meat is tasty enough garlic-yogurt slight overkill. Was July 4th, so no one else there. Took about 20 minutes to make, better than reheating it in 5. Love the fact can just pinch-off each piece and dip into yogurt, like eating fries. For the american without knowledge, imagine tiny spiced meatballs in the middle of a mini-canoe shaped dough thats been baked to achieve crispy edges. Very solid, outstanding value, great novelty, comfort food. will bring friends. It s a very small place. They also have ice cream fridge, and (yesss) CANNED sodas. Even RC cola, my fave cola. Also chips rack with your favorite frito-lay shit. A lotta dough (and meat) for a lil dough. Only reason not 5 stars is not absolutely spectacular, doesnt taste or resemble the classic dish granny-goose style, but very good anyways. Server/cashier was fine, could use a lil smile on that (presumed) armo cute face. Manti- burger, grilled cheese, and manti nachos offered. If you dare, go for them sure they'll be good. Support hidden gems like these and drop a twenty once in a while, keep them in business and your stomach happy at the same time. Crazy noisy outside from foothill cars. Came in here yesterday for dinner & I was impressed. The place is small. It's more like a cafe/fast food spot. Very little place to sit inside with more space outside. Although the place was too small, the food was big enough on flavor. Mante is a traditional Armenian or middle eastern dish and they took it and put their spin on it along with keeping the original style if you wish. We got the po boy, the grill cheese and the traditional style and it all impressed. I loved the fact they incorporated this in sandwiches. We were so impressed that we ordered a large size uncooked version to take home. Today I had it for lunch and it was amazing as well. They hit it out of the park with this one. read more

Quite the Turnaround! The good food and the Owner's great attitude really saved the day for us. Our Lunch order got really screwed up, and tempers (mine) were flaring, but the Owner came out and really won us over with his good attitude and good food. This place is seriously a hidden GEM! It was my birthday and I wanted some appetizers for my guests so I purchased three large boxes of Mante. I had the hot Cheetos one, nachos, and regular. We live in the sunland area and noticed this place recently opened. Our family loves Mantee but of course you can't help but hesitate when going to a place that just opened. We tried it about a week ago and surprisingly it was better than expected. The food was delicious the sauces that came with the mantee were fabulous. They had a very clever way of putting them in the pizza boxes to go.The mac n cheese was ok... I recommend they just stick to the Mediterranean cuisine. Mante House is one of the best places to eat Mante, Mante burgers are out of this world. The place looks clean and management is professional. The food is always fresh and very very clean. The taste of Mante burger is the so different u always want to go back over and over again. Manteeeee!!! Probably my favorite Middle Eastern dish ever. I only gave this spot a 3 star because of the customer service I received the other night when I ordered to go and their prices. Their prices are a bit too high- I get it Mantee takes long- but I have heard they get the Mantee frozen. Not sure on that part, but the Mantee is AMAZING- frozen or not! It is crispy, it could use a bit more meat inside- but overall the Mantee is good. Back to my customer service experience, I was upset at how rude and sarcastic the gentlemen was. I believe it was the owner too. They charge extra for sauces - I am talking about .50 cent extra for a small container of garlic sauce and red sauce. I thought that was eh, considering a large Mantee order is almost $30.00. The least they can do is offer those sauces for FREE! At the end of the day, I don't live in the area and do not order from these guys much, so it really doesn't matter to me. But, for the locals- I would expect a better Customer Service reputation. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I did not see a bathroom when I went there the last time to dine in. The menu is pretty straight forward and simple. My man usually orders the nacho one - he loves it. I love the traditional Mantee :) Maybe next time I can get 2-3 extra sauces for FREE and I can change my rating. read more

I ordered online, the food was ready when I arrived. I had the Mante with cabbage salad, Mac and cheese, and fries all for under $10. We had no idea what Mante was. Family felt really adventurous one day and we're glad we tried it. It was very good specially with the garlic yogurt dip. The edges of the tiny boat like dumpling were crispy which made it delightful to eat. Ordered red cabbage salad which was excellent. This makes a good party food to serve. read more

I'm never usually a fan of mante but this place is really good. You would think that mante is small so it won't fill u up but think again. Went there today with my friend for the first time and we loved the mante! We each got the mante square with a side of pickled veggies and fries and we were REALLY satisfied. The texture and crunch were on point and their original garlic yogurt sauce was bomb! The service was fast and the staff was very nice and attentive. We will definitely be coming back for more.
