I had such a great experience at this office. I drove all the way from Oakland to have a tooth extracted. When another dentist in Manteca wasn't able to do the procedure, he sent me over to Dr. Veeranki. An hour or so later, I had met an amazingly kind and gentle staff, met with Dr. Veeranki who thoroughly explained what my options were, and then took the time on a busy Friday to fit me in, and get that troublesome tooth out. I walked in with a blood pressure of 190/120 and walked out with no pain. In fact, I had almost no pain and no swelling after the procedure, which was super surprising. After 40 years of being told I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed, I finally did it... yes, you read that right, 40 years! LMAO! I've always been afraid of having an extraction, let alone three! And these three (have been the only extractions I've ever had) were a piece of cake! I was in and out in less than 45 mins and that included 15 mins of check-in. Not good at scheduling appointments and notifying patients of changes. The Oral surgeon and Anesthesiologist never see you or communicate with you before or after if you have a child getting their wisdom teeth taken out. One would think they would give you some assurance that things will be fine before going under anesthesia and letting you know after the surgery how things went, but none of that. Seems like they are just wanting to get you in out like a fast food restaurant. I would definitely NOT recommend this practice. Unfortunately, this is who our Orthodontist referred. read more

No guest wifi for waiting room, but not a problem since not much waiting was needed. Staff were all professional and confident. I felt comfortable the entire time. I just had all four wisdom teeth removed today by Dr Vanderbeek. I was putting this procedure off for 10 years and was really nervous to finally have it done but during the whole process I felt completely safe, comfortable, and at ease after everything was explained to me. We have been very happy and satisfied with Dr. Veeranki and his staff. My daughter who is 13 had her 2 baby canines and 2 adult canines extracted. We were nervous and worried but it was a very pleasant experience from making appointment, reminders from the office about how to prepare for the surgery, to day of surgery, everything was explained clearly and patiently by Dr. Veeranki we didn't feel rushed at all. (I went to the Tracy location) I was so nervous about getting my 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed but Dr. Vanderbeek and his staff were so kind and listened to all of my questions and made me feel so comfortable especially during COVID-19. The staff made sure everything was sanitized, checked temperatures and had you wash your hands as soon as you checked in and had the doors open for you so you wouldn't have to touch the door handles. I've been putting off getting my wisdom teeth pulled for a couple years now because I was so fearful of the procedure. I'm in my early fifties so it wasn't going to be an easy extraction. Also two of my wisdom teeth were impacted. Dr. Vanderbeek was the oral surgeon from Dr. Veeranki's office that did my procedure. The first time I met him for the consultation I immediately felt at ease. He was very thorough when he explained the procedure. The staff made me feel calm and safe before the surgery. They had oxygen, heart monitor. blood pressure monitoring during the whole procedure being that I had to be put under by IV. I remember Dr. Vanderbeek asking if I had any questions and the next thing I remember was waking up with him saying everything went great we're all done. I'm writing this review the day after the surgery. Yes there is some swelling and some pain, but nothing like I had expected. They also give you a prescription for all the meds you will need after. As for pain, I've only had to take the 600 mg Ibuprofen that they prescribed. To conclude my review, If you need your wisdom teeth out don't put it off. Make an appointment at Dr. Veeranki's office. I had recently come in to inquire about having some wisdom teeth removed. I was really nervous to find out I would need to be sedated by IV to remove them, but Dr. Vanderbeek was very reassuring when explaining the process. On the day of the procedure they made me feel very comfortable and helped alleviate any anxiety I was having about the procedure. Dr. Vanderbeek managed to get my IV in (which I was most nervous about) without me even feeling it, he then proceeded to tell me in about 20-30 seconds the meds should kick in. I was laying there thinking to myself I don't feel anything, next think you know I was waking up and the procedure was all done! Following the procedure I felt absolutely no pain nor was I bleeding much at all which was surprising because I've had teeth extracted from other dentists before with a ton of soreness and profuse bleeding afterwards. I was terrified to get my wisdom teeth out but the nurses and Doctor were extremely nice. I feel as if they were gentle because I have very light pain and light swelling as well. Iv had multiple bad experiences with IV's and this one was great, I barley even felt the poke and he got it in the first try. Another thing that also stood out to me about the office was the doctor himself called me the night after my surgery to make sure everything was going well. I took my girlfriend here to have her wisdom teeth pulled and felt like a used car sales rep was giving our consultation 1st then after all said and done they charged us extremely high prices cause they seen she was in massive amounts of pain 2nd then the day they did the surgery it took them it took a total of 27 mins but after the bill came they charged us a extra 15mins of sedation and that's another $175 I would not refer this place to anyone they will purposely try to charge more idk if it's cause they don't have many patients or what but work like this won't help us give good referral read more

I went in for consultation and was very impressed as I was informed of the details of what would be done and the cost. The very next day he removed the teeth and it was incredible. I had my wisdom teeth removed in the Navy many years ago and the pain was excruciating. The truth is that I was concerned about the pain but knew I had to get it done. Dr. Veeranki took his time, told me what he was doing step by step and his manner is just right. I have had soreness but no real pain. He is excellent! I was referred to Ashok Veeranki for pulling my tooth. I called one of the assistants. She told me to come for consultation. I did requested for sign language interpreter for the consultation. She was not familiar with calling the interpreters. I told her to find them on any websites. She didn't call me for two or three weeks later! I called her again. She said "I couldn't find them" I knew she didn't even try to find them! I gave her the interpreter's business phone numbers. Again she didn't call me till I called her! I wish I found Dr. Veeranki sooner when I had to pull my other wisdom teeth. I put this off for 2 years because I was so terrified. This was my third time pulling out my last wisdom tooth and I cannot express how grateful I am for Dr. Veeranki. The past 2 times I've pulled my wisdom teeth were the most painful and uncomfortable surgeries I've ever had. But with Dr. Veeranki, I barely had any swelling let alone pain. I took Motrin the first day and I think the day after but that was it! I did have a lot of anxiety because I've never had general anesthesia before so i barley slept the night before. I was so nervous - more so about getting anesthesia than my tooth pulled. I wish i didn't even worry about it because he is a very smart doctor and knows what he is doing. He gave me anesthesia and i was out like a light bulb. It was over before I knew it. They also called me the same day to check up on me. I wanted to get my tooth extracted. One of my friends recommended Dr. Veeranki. So I visited him. His insurance staff told me that it will cost me $21. After the visit, I booked his appointment for surgery and took time off from my office. Just hours before my surgery, his staff called and cancelled the surgery and gave me another appointment 1.5 month later. I planned for my work time off again based on new appointment. Then they called me twice and confirmed surgery date. One day before surgery, again they called and cancelled the surgery. This time i decided not go with Dr. Veeranki. I find the staff highly unprofessional and does not value other people's time and money. Now they sent me another bill for 1st appoinment as unpaid and threaten to send my account to collection and spoil my credit history. I see complete unprofessionalism. My son had a stubborn baby tooth and an extra adult tooth removed two weeks ago. I've had a couple of bad experiences from dentists in the past. I was referred to Dr. Veeranki to have 3 teeth pulled. He talked to me, and I'm sure he sensed my anxiety. During my consult, he felt IV medication putting me to sleep was the best way to go, and easiest on me because I wake up and it's done. He was right! I'm leery about IVs, but he is so gentle that I only felt a tiny sting and then it was done. Then he says "We are going to administer medicine now." Boom! I was asleep! And I woke up and it was over. He pulled 3 teeth, and it wasn't painful at all. All the staff were really nice, totally awesome and caring! They even called me that evening to see how I was doing after surgery! I am so glad I was referred to Dr. Veeranki! I will always come to see Dr. Veeranki if I need any serious dental work from now on. And I recommend if anyone wants a very kind, very safe, very gentle, very knowledgeable Doctor (and all of his staff) do your dental work, go to Doctor Veeranki! I got them pulled today 05/13/16 and honestly don't know why I was so scared. A couple of years ago I brought my dad here to have a tooth extracted. His recovery was very quick and he didn't complain of having pain. A year later he had to have another extraction, (he has ms) but this time he had it done with our regular dentist. This time he experienced a lot of pain, and for several days. It was not a good experience. With this being said, when the time came that I needed to have a tooth extracted, I chose to have Dr. Veerenki perform mine. He uses anesthesia, which is a major plus for those of us with dental phobias. From the first time I walked into the office to the last time I walked out after the surgery (this morning), their staff was amazing. The reception staff, the dental assistants, the person who handled the insurance information, the billing staff, the assistant during the surgical procedure, and the doctor himself were all pleasant, professional, kind and sensitive to my phobias. I experienced absolutely no sales pitches like another reviewer stated, which is good because it definitely sours an otherwise positive experience. I wish all businesses were like Dr Veerenkis. It has now been 7 hours since my surgery and so far I have experienced NO pain and NO swelling. After the procedure I came home and took a short nap then took 4 advils. 2 hours later I went out for coffee with my friend and did some light grocery shopping. I will be resting for the rest of the day. I'll post an update in a few days if my pain changes. I'll definitely come back if I need anymore dental work performed.
