The job included staining some raw woodwork, stripping some wallpaper, and painting the walls and ceilings. Then we had them power wash and paint our aluminum siding. The most amazing thing was how well they matched the wood staining to the existing woodwork and cabinets in three different colors. Their workmanship was excellent, and the owner, Vince, kept on top of the whole process. We were very pleased.

We found Fresh Home Painting by following a chain of trust. We started with a roofer we trusted, who recommended a general contractor, who in turn called in a painter he trusted. This was no small job. We needed new windows stained (different colors in different rooms to match exiting cabinets and woodwork), wallpaper removed, walls and ceilings painted, woodwork refreshed, our roof cleaned, and the outside of the house (aluminum siding) painted. Vince Bayeh came out with the GC, and we all worked together to decide exactly what needed to be done and how. We had already told the GC that quality was more important than speed or cost, and since we'd followed a chain of trusted professionals (who were transparent about their finders and referral fees) we threw ourselves on their mercy. Vince gave us a contract, not an estimate. It was a firm price for a detailed list of work to be done. We paid part when we signed the contract, part when work started, and the rest upon completion. We don't regret that one bit. Vince himself is a perfectionist, and so is his crew (up to five people, at some points). Vince and the GC spotted things on their final walkthrough that we would not have noticed for months, if ever, and they were fixed immediately. Vince assured us that if we had questions, we should call him and he would take care of it. We did have one issue, and not only did he come out the next day, but he took care of it himself in the same visit. I can't imagine a better experience.

They did such a good job! They were meticulous and took great pride in their work. Our house looks gorgeous inside because of their efforts. All the pricing was very reasonable, which included the cost of the paint. Their standard paint is Benjamin Moore Regal Select, which is probably the best paint manufacturer. The following week Scott arrived with his foreman Eric, as well as his crew members, Steve and John. Eric, Steve, and John worked tirelessly over two days to complete our painting project. This was impressive, given that they patched and painted two coats on walls and trim for a hall with staircase, three doors and frames, a guest bedroom, and a living room which included repainting a slanted popcorn ceiling. The crew was clean, professional, courteous, and very thorough. They were very accommodating of our pets and were kind enough to replace light bulbs in a fan that is hard to access and even dusted it for us! We were incredibly impressed by the quality painting and patching work. My husband is an engineer with an eagle keen eye for detail and he was thrilled by the caliber of their patching and we both noted how clean the lines in the rooms were painted, especially since the painter that had painted before we bought our home had cut many corners. I had him install two sets of closet doors, fix another set, install a door knob, hang some pictures, and swap out two wall unit air conditioners. My place is old and nothing seemed to line up right/go smoothly, but James was patient and did some outside the box thinking to solve these issues we ran into.
