Delicious food at reasonable prices is what we experienced at this little mom & pop restaurant. The waitresses are friendly and service is prompt. There are TVs so you don't have to miss the game and a cute working fireplace for a cozy evening when it's cold out! They run daily specials - don't miss the beefy mushroom soup YUMMM!! My husband and I ordered sandwiches the first time. He got a rueben and I got an Italian grinder. They were both fantastic although I had to pick the onions off mine. The second time he ordered a Bacon Jack burger and I got a half order of nachos. The full order of nachos comes on a cookie sheet (for $15)!!!! We got our orders to go both times because our dogs were at home and hungry, too. We just moved to town and wanting to try all the places Onaway has to offer. There was one waitress for the place this Sunday afternoon. She was awesome. There were numerous patrons and she had it covered. There was a daily special and she did recommend it. Looking for a nice place to stop and eat on a long drive we thought this place was going to be nice turns out we were wrong Service very slow waited 25 minutes for drinks let alone to be seen. Burger was extremely overcooked if you order fries you mind as well order chips and messed up our chicken Cesar wrap twice other dinners in the establishment also we're dealing with the same issue . I've been eating at this restaurant my entire life - and as of my last two experiences ordering here, I'll never be eating here again! The online menu and the in-app menus are COMPLETELY different from one another (the online menu has things they don't have on their in-store or in-app menu, things from an old menu). There are absolutely no warning signs on the website to tell me that the menu is old. To anyone who wouldn't know better, it looks like a current menu! And to speak on my experience today, I ordered ONE THING! With a half full parking lot and I'm waiting an hour for one wrap?! This is ridiculous. We ordered takeout last month to bring to our friends' cottage on Black Lake and were so impressed with the food! We now know it is necessary to order TWO orders of pizza dippers. Excellent dough, seasoning, and sauce. Pizza was well made and the toppings were generous and of good quality (loved the Meat Lovers especially!). Went in last night for dinner. Had the nastiest ill-mannered waitress. I had to send back my chicken tenders because they were spongey like chicken nuggets instead of actual chicken meat. When I told my waitress she didn't even offer to get me anything else. She was very angry and tried to argue with me, saying "up here, these are chicken tenders." We also had ordered salads with field greens and chicken. The salads only came with iceberg lettuce and one salad was missing the chicken. The chicken that did come, however, smelt like a dirty diaper. I am sure it was past expiration date. $15 for rotten chicken and iceberg lettuce. Not to mention the nasty rude waitress. We like coming here to get salads for supper. My husband also likes the chicken fingers and fries. However, I think the entree salads are excellent because the produce is very fresh and I love the homemade dressing! The pizza bites and breadsticks are homemade as well as the pies and cookies--all very tasty! The portions are very generous and most people have a carry out box when they leave. We found this spot on our trip to see family last fall. The menu has such a variety to choose from. Pasta, Comfort Food, Burgers, Panini's, Grinders, Salads, Wraps, Sandwiches, Baskets, Seafood, Pizza and a variety of Appetizers too. We had a casual dinner here one night and it was fantastic. The pizza bites appetizer is great and our table gave high marks to the buffalo wings as well. I ordered a custom pizza, which was very good-- and they make them in personal sizes too, which is always a nice option. The highlight of the meal is definitely dessert though. Our trip was apx 10 miles from the restaurant. The pizza were hot still, which was not a problem. When we opened them up, you could see the cheese was burnt and you couldn't tell the pepperoni from the cheese. We had no choice but to eat them, since my three grandsons were hungry along with the rest of the adults, let alone the trip back to the restaurant was another 10 miles one way. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap today while passing through. It was probably the worst wrap I've ever had. It was so dry that I thought they may have forgotten the dressing. You definitely couldn't even tell it was a Caesar wrap. It was vary bland with chicken, iceberg lettuce, some kind of shredded cheese (should be Parmesan) and raw mushrooms. We love Manzana's. They make a great pizza. Be sure to ask for the Parmesan garlic crust. The BLT pizza is a favorite. Their sandwich selection is large. I enjoy their ham and cheese grinder and chicken tender hoagie. It isn't on the menu, but they can make a great raspberry lemonade with a secret ingredient. The service is good. Very mom and pop. On Mother's Day they put on a delicious brunch. For a restaurant that doesn't do breakfast, they do breakfast food well. read more

The good: mashed potatoes, the burger wasn't a pre-made frozen pattie but lacked a bit of seasoning, the soup tasted good, but the noodles were so overcooked they were just mush. The bad: the gravy and meatloaf tasted more like Salisbury steak and came a bit pink in the center. Green beans and fries were average. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and ordered a gift card from this restaurant on December 20, 2019 for my aunt who lives in Onaway, Michigan. As of December 24th in the evening, she still had not received the gift card which was a Christmas present. I called Manzana's Thursday morning, December 26th, and talked with the owner Katrina McDonald. She was extremely rude to me and even resorted to using foul language. After I said, "excuse me" intimating that I could not believe what I heard, she said "You heard right!" and hung up the phone.
