They have wifi and which is a plus! Even though it's super busy they are realistic with the time and how long things will take. If they can't do it right away they will give you a time to return. I appreciate this so much. Time is so valuable. It's affordable maybe slightly higher in some aspects. For the most part comparable in cost.

However, upon going to pay, it took another 10 minutes to fill out the paperwork and the charge came to $24. That's three dollars for the valvestem $12 for labor and nearly 8 dollars for shop miscellaneous. I don't have any idea how they're charging shop miscellaneous, but in my opinion, it should be a percentage of the other cost and in that case it's an astronomical percentage. I will be looking elsewhere for future needs.

After talking to a few folks in the area, we kept getting the same shop name: Gobble's Automotive. We called them Monday afternoon and was able to schedule an appointment for first thing Tuesday morning. They called us mid-day Tuesday with the prognosis and gave us a high and low estimate before tearing into the system. We gave them the go-ahead. Wednesday morning, they called and said we could come pick up our vehicle and that we had the best case scenario and price was even lower than the original estimate. It was being repaired on his cost on his warranty on the transmission rebuild the he did. I had already decided that if my vehicle coded out again I was going to MD transmission. WOW am I glad I did. I left my Yukon with Myron and his shop on 1/7/25 at 2 pm I picked it up at 2:15 pm on 1/8/25. Myron took me in the shop and showed me the things they had to change out from the other shop.
