Best burgers in town!! We come here every summer when we're in Minnesota and it never disappoints. This year since it was raining, we did a phone order and picked it up for dinner & everything was perfect. The service is always friendly and our orders were ridiculously delicious. The Swiss Mushroom Burger is my forever favorite and I'm obsessed with their onion rings. Everything is simple but done so right. I also really appreciate how thoughtful their packaging is - each burger comes in its own box with sides of ketchup, mustard, pickles, and napkins. It's such a small touch, but it really makes you feel taken care of. And the ambience? Adorable. It's like stepping back in time. A totally vintage feel and full of charm. We usually sit outside on their benches with lakefront views and string lights overhead. Just a heads up, payment is cash or check only. Can't recommend this spot enough. My family has a cabin on Lake Lida. We have been going to Maple beach for years- nothing better that a burger and fries while you cruise around on the boat. Maple beach has great burgers and it always seems busy. The food comes out in a timely fashion. The seating is primarily outdoors ( maybe only outdoor since the pandemic). Rustic with some picnic tables. The owner / chief cook is rude, always. The best you get is ambivalent. The folks that help him are always courteous - I would rate this a 5 if the cook would smile once. read more

Most authentic lake joint around. I grew up coming here and I'm pleased to say that it feels the same with very little changes. Great food, great ambiance, nothing fancy. They don't accept cards which would be nice but that's part of its lakeside authenticity. read more

I would love to give this place a great review but unfortunately I just had the rudest experience I have ever had. I just pulled into the parking lot. sat there idling for about 1 to 2 mins tops. As I got out I here the owner cursing me through the screen door and yelling at another worker to go tell me to shut my f'n truck off or leave. The employee that was told this then noticed I heard everything. I proceeded to go in and let them know how rude and disgusted I was in the way I had been treated before I even got to come in to order food. The same guy proceeded to curse at me again as I was walking out saying "you should of just shut your f'n truck off. Absolutely the rudest place I have ever set foot in my life. Highly recommend not gracing your presence at this place as they obviously have no respect for their customers at all. read more

Have online ordering so we don't have to look everywhere else and fight with the public. I don't think I'm overreacting. Have an online ordering system so you can order in the times when you're closed so you can be ready for 5 o'clock and 11 o'clock pick up so about that? read more
