I already thought that was robbery because at the beginning I was only paying for a cheek then all of a sudden they said it's both I need. Fine. For the last four years I have gone to different locations and had no issues getting a cheek/neck and being satisfied with the hair removal until today. I went and saw BRITTNEY and she waxed only part of my face. She then handed me the mirror like they do when they are done. I saw hair still on my face I said what about this? She said oh that's a chin service and you would have to pay for that. I explained how I've never been told this is a chin service and have gotten waxed at different locations with no issue. She wasn't trying to hear it and told me I could pay for a full face and it would be cheaper. Um no! How about you wax the cheek and neck that I'm paying for! To me it also was humiliating to have her think I would not want that part of my face waxed. To walk out of there with a patch of hair still. So embarrassing but I was not expecting to pay for a whole additional service! So I was left with the option of leaving with that patch still on my face. A great customer service person would believe the customer, solve the issue then educate for next time with the hopes that the person would come back. Nope she was cold about it. Then when I was about to pay the front desk asked me how my service was, I told them the issue and all they could say was I was wrong and sorry it was misrepresented elsewhere. That changes nothing EWC WOODBURY! How can multiple other locations all recognize a cheek and neck as the same thing besides your location! Absolutely ridiculous. She has the magic touch! I don't know what she does but her waxes are definitely less painful than other specialists I have seen. She always cleans up my eyebrows without making them too thin, which is exactly what I like. She finds the perfect amount of sideburn to wax off, and very kindly mentioned I had just a couple of hairs on my chin she could get. She really listens to her clients and has great attention to detail so that I always walk away looking flawless! She also gets bikini waxes done in fewer passes so my skin does not get irritated. She takes great care to look and make sure not a single hair was left behind. I've never had anyone else tweeze my legs! Her eye for precision means I don't have to worry about those pesky short hairs that waxing can miss. She ensures I leave looking and feeling smooth! I think the nail technician must have been new. She (I believe her name is Emily?) was in the middle of two male technicians, who appeared to be watching her work. Instead of doing a traditional dip manicure, she dampened the powder and used a brush to apply. The results were horrid compared to what I am used to with a dip manicure! They started breaking off after a week, and for comparison, I am used to going a month with the manicure looking decent. I tend towards light colors so I can do this. Additionally, their nail color matching system isn't very good. The product they use has a matching powder, gel and regular polish. However, when the color was applied to my feet, it wasn't even close to my hands. I won't be returning to this gorgeous place. I have received much better quality manicure/pedicure other places.
