She has the magic touch! I don't know what she does but her waxes are definitely less painful than other specialists I have seen. She always cleans up my eyebrows without making them too thin, which is exactly what I like. She finds the perfect amount of sideburn to wax off, and very kindly mentioned I had just a couple of hairs on my chin she could get. She really listens to her clients and has great attention to detail so that I always walk away looking flawless! She also gets bikini waxes done in fewer passes so my skin does not get irritated. She takes great care to look and make sure not a single hair was left behind. I've never had anyone else tweeze my legs! Her eye for precision means I don't have to worry about those pesky short hairs that waxing can miss. She ensures I leave looking and feeling smooth! The Salon is very nice and has a warm atmosphere, figuratively and literally. The temperature is always comfortable and the tables have warmers on them, which is a great touch! Nevertheless, the prices are very reasonable compared to other places. (Please don't raise them because I said that!) So you can get a spa experience for a little less than you would pay at somewhere like European Wax Center. You also get a very nice welcome gift your first time in, which includes a number of coupons to encourage you to try the myriad of services the salon has to offer. I can't wait to try them!

You asked for it. My Signature Salon of Woodbury appointments were 9/11/25 at 11am, 11/20/25 at 11am, and 1/2/26 at 2pm. Nice recordkeeping!! On 9/11, Signature Salon called me the DAY BEFORE my appointment and asked me to reschedule, which I did. On 11/20, Signature Salon called me THAT MORNING and asked me to change my start time, and I complied. They do not respect appointment times or the fact that their clients have to rearrange an entire day to accommodate their last-minute changes. On 9/11, I asked that my appointment be with the owner, Quynh. When I arrived, I was seen by someone else (I think her name was Sam or Lee, but I'm not sure). On 11/20, I again asked that my appointment be with Quynh, and I was seen by Alondra instead. For my 1/2 appointment, I asked to be scheduled with Alondra again, but was seen by Quynh with no explanation as to why it wasn't with Alondra. They do not respect client requests and do not provide reasons when things change. On my first appointment, I asked for copper highlights and got caramel color instead. The stylist offered to correct it, but I had already been in the chair for over two hours and did not have space in my schedule; the caramel was fine, and I was ok with it. On my second appointment, Alondra gave me the copper highlights that I wanted and she was amazing to work with; this is why I requested her the third time. However, Quynh did not follow the notes that Alondra left in my profile and instead of having little kisses of copper around the crown of my head, she pulled the color all the way to the ends resulting in waaay too much red in my hair. She was also rough and rushed when doing the color, and left me in the hands of her assistant for the rest of the appointment. Oh, and they don't respect you as a person, either. When I arrived for my 2:00 appointment on Jan 2, no one greeted me when I came in. I sat in the waiting area for FORTY MINUTES before Quynh sent someone to ask what I needed! When I was finally seated at a styling station, Quynh offered a weak apology saying that she had seen me sitting out there waiting but thought that I was a nail client. I'm sorry, but why would you assume that I am a nail client, and even if I were...why is it okay to ignore someone for forty minutes?? When my hair was done, I was never offered a mirror to look at the back or to see the color. It wasn't until I got home that I looked at the back of my head...terrible. Not at all what Alondra had done for me in September, and laughable that Quynh said she was doing me a favor by pulling the color all the way to the ends. I have never spent so much time and money to be sent out of the salon without being given an opportunity to see the back of my head. Neither do they respect your privacy. While I was trying to pay my bill, I was suddenly being pulled to the center of the reception area, in front of several other clients, getting pictures taken of my hair! I did not consent to this! I was not shown the pictures or told where they were going to be posted! All I wanted to do was pay for the appointment and leave...but then I had to endure a few more insulting minutes while Quynh and the receptionist both cackled at me "6 more weeks! You make another appointment for 6 weeks!" They had me near tears; I walked out of there without taking the time to even put my coat on in 10 degree weather because I was desperate to get to my car where no one was screaming at me to make another appointment. And when I got to my car...oh, boy. I looked in the rearview mirror and I had hair dye all down my left cheek, on my left ear, all the way across my forehead AND ON MY NOSE! I needed to go to the post office and grocery store, but no way could I go out in public looking like that, so I went home instead. I had to use nail polish remover to get the dye off of my face, which of course RUINED my expensive manicure. It was all so bad that I canceled my date that night. They also don't treat clients equally...while I was sitting in the waiting area for over half an hour being ignored, Quynh checked out a lady and told her all about some sort of program where you earn points for every dollar spent. I have had three appointments at Signature Salon in the past 4 months, spending nearly $1000 dollars, and NO ONE has ever mentioned that program to me. I'm sorry Quynh that you think that my 1-star review was fake; you don't remember our conversation about the suite being built in the back of the salon, and how the contractor had the flu so the construction was taking longer? *I* will never forget the lousy treatment I've received at Signature Salon. I'm interested in what you'll do to make this right, or if you will post another snarky reply as with other negative reviews.

Wow, very nice place to feel beautiful inside and out! All the people who work at The Salon are always friendly and very hospitable. The Salon is huge now because of a recent expansion. Even though it is large, you still feel like you are in a cozy atmosphere with privacy to talk with your stylist or just need quiet time. That's super important to me because I have to bring my autistic daughter along with me because of her personal issues. She needs supervised care 24/7. My daughter said she felt comfortable and safe in this new environment. I said, " Great this is nirvana ! Now I can relax and have me time!" I also want to thank Jennifer for accommodating Nicole while we were there. It was our first time in the salon after being gone for a year and Jennifer did my hair. She is so professional, along with being a" sweetheart of a gal" to the core! She was thoughtful and even wrote me a quick 'thank you' for coming to get my hair done with her! You can't get that kind of ' "couth" just anywhere nowadays. I'm so glad I was put with her because my hair looked so beautiful when I left! Thank you Jenny for all the little extras that you did! Seeing as I found this location through Yelp, I figured I ought to leave a review! Throughout junior high and my first two years of high school, I was dyeing my hair almost constantly. A natural brunette, I've cycled through black, blonde, different reds, even rose gold. After years of damage I took a break from the dye and stuck to simply getting it cut. Now in my freshman year of college, and looking for a hair change, I was unsure of where to go in terms of getting my hair colored. All I knew was that I needed a trendy spot that would respect what I wanted, and a hairdresser with the experience to make it happen. Luckily, I found that here! Malia is spectacular and incredibly patient. I want to bleach a section of my hair to white, so she helped me take the first step. She was excited to know that I had references for my hair color goal. Not only that, but she made sure to check in with me repeatedly about how I was liking the color and cut. After this first bleach and tone session, the section is already an ashy blonde and not too far at all from the color I wanted, while somehow still retaining its strength and softness. I left with a cute new cut, and a color that I'm comfortable rocking until my hair is ready to be bleached all the way to a level 9 or 10 blonde. Thank you so much! read more

If you are looking for a full service salon, The Salon is the place to go! First of all the atmosphere is classy yet comfortable. When you first walk in the receptionist offers to take your coat and offers you a drink. The stylist I go to is Teresa and she is the best! Recently I was looking for a new look and Teresa was my gal to get it done! She's a good listener and I trust her with my hair to the fullest! Teresa gave me a new cut and color and I love it! I was worried if I would be able to style my hair the same way she did once I was at home but she took the time to show me how I could easily do it myself. Oh, and I cannot forget to write about the amazing scalp massage she gives while shampooing your hair. I seriously could of sat in that chair forever! And to top it off she put a warm pillow behind my neck and always made sure my drink was refreshed. Teresa's service is absolutely top notch! The Salon is wonderful and Teresa does the best hair color ever. Right away when I walked in I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who took my coat, brought me a cup of tea, as well as a heated lavender neck pillow, which was divine. The work area is sunny and bright and the decor is eclectic and fun. The shampoo chairs are great-- you can put your legs up, close your eyes, and listen to a soothing sound track. The whole experience was very relaxing and very professional. It's an upscale place--products are $$$--but definitely worth it. I love coming to The Salon to see Marnie. She always listens to exactly what I'm looking for in my color and cut and executes that vision, checking throughout the service that it's what I wanted. She's so easy to talk to, but can be comfortable with silence as well. I feel like I'm hanging out with a good friend. The Salon is well lit, clean, and I enjoy the "quiet area" by the shampoo sinks where Marnie gives me a killer scalp massage. Wheewwww. Jessica is the best! I have very stubborn gray hair and Jessica makes it disappears without a trace each time I visit. She covers those stubborn buggers like no other & my color stays true without fading. Jessica is magical! She is able to work her wonders while taking into consideration my sensitive skin without any issues! The Salon's quiet washing area is very relaxing & comfortable. The front desk gal was so helpful when booking my color...she told me about the different stylists and explained the difference between the full foil and the partial foil. I was offered bubbly water, soda, tea and even coffee when I checked in. So amazed- I've never been offered so many choices while getting my hair colored! it! My stylist Danielle nailed my color and gave me an excellent head massage in the quiet shampoo area. ‍SO RELAXING I loved how she recommended what shampoo I should be using at home. Anyone with curly hair knows how hard it is to find a stylist that really understands how to cut it, isn't a Diva curl fanatic, doesn't charge an arm and a leg, and has a modern aesthetic. That goes double for those of us with ethnic hair. Lucy at The Salon is a unicorn! I have never been comfortable in salons, and being new to the area, my anxiety was at an all time high trying to figure a salon that would work. I discussed this with my neighbor and she had been a client at " The Salon" for years and insisted that I try it. Within minutes of getting to the salon I felt at ease and was offered cup of tea while I was seated in my chair. This environment is so fun, yet privately chic. Teresa is an excellent hair stylist. She listens to what you want, advises you on what will work best with you hair and accomplishes a cut that works. He has helped me in knowing how to work its my hair, which is thin and fine. She has given me the confidence to move to a shorter, more manageable and flattering cut. I've been coming here for a few years now to get my hair done. I've seen 3 different stylists, simply because I don't plan ahead for my hair, so I get in when I can with anyone available. Everyone has been amazing! I recently saw Lisa Smith and she shocked me with her skills! I told her I love platinum blonde to-the-roots look, but I can't do it bc the bleach hurts my scalp. I brought my 10-year-old daughter in for a drastic haircut (mid-back long hair to a pixie cut). Her stylist, Alysa, was amazing. She was patient and listened to what my daughter wanted. When I called on short notice to book an appointment and explained I preferred a hairstylist with experience with dark Mediterranean type hair, they recommended Mari. I walked out with brassy, warm, yellow, patchy and streaky hair when I requested light, ashy, cool tone, blonde highlighted hair. The color is not even, there is a distinct line patch in my hair that was not touched, and it made my hair incredibly dry and break off. The only reason I provided 2 stars instead of 1 is because when I brought my concerns to her regarding the color and feel, she gave me a two week window to reset the color darker.

First of all, the space is a gorgeous blend of modern with historic St Paul woven in. Upon arrival you are offered complementary drinks, so I opted for an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. It was absolutely delicious, made with high quality espresso. Monica Turner is my stylist and she is an incredibly talented professional. I've had my hair colored by her a number of times, and she is a true genius who can take my vague description and turn it into a stunning final product! I love being in Monica's chair and am so grateful to have finally found a hair person who just gets me. Street parking available around the salon and it's easy to make an appointment online. If you are looking for a salon who will pamper you, this is the place!

You walk in and all eyes are on you judging your appearance...YIKES! You never know the prices because you can look it up online but there is always a huge scale depending on the level of stylist you get and there are just a ton of unknown factors involved. What "type" of hair do they work with most? What is the theme of the salon? I recently moved and was way overdue for a hair cut...seriously even one of my dearest friends told me to lose the bun on top of my head! hahahahaha that has become my go-to style out of sheer laziness. I decided that this salon looked decent enough from the outside as I passed a couple times so I did a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon and was able to get right in for a haircut and eyebrow wax. The ladies were friendly and I was offered a hot beverage which was very nicely served in a glass mug....that is a great thing. There was a nice exposed brick wall and lovely light fixtures as well as comfortable hair shampoo stations. My stylist Ashley was easy to talk to and she listened to me and offered her expert opinion and advice and we proceeded to take approx three inches of hair off and then for the first time in my life the stylist actually styled my hair exactly how I would if I had any skills at all. I loved this about her... so often I have left the salon not feeling like myself and waiting to just wash and do my hair myself to see how the cut really came out. Nope---Ashley did an amazing job and made me feel fresh and frisky again! My brows still need some help she cleaned them up with what she had to work with but I need to find a lady that is top-notch shaping artist to get them how I would like them....

I went in with super damaged hair and thin hair from medications and left with a great cut a lots of volume which is hard to get my stick straight fine hair to do. Very Excellent customer service and great location.
