On the day of the tree removal, I was very impressed with the professionalism of the crew, the speed at which they removed the trees, and especially how each member of the team was respectful of our property. After a large, tree sized branch from a willow tree in our back yard collapsed, we decided to have the tree removed. I called Maple Tree and left Carl a message, he was fantastic. Within four hours I had a free quote in hand at a very good price. The other services I contacted either, charged $50.00 for a quote, did not bid, scheduled someone to show up to quote six days out or were to small to do the job. Once I got back to Carl he scheduled a day to do the job and arrived as promised on the day agreed on. The crew was fantastic working together as a team, and had the two trunk, 60 foot willow tree along with two 25 foot maples gone within 6 hours - all with minimal space between neighboring homes. My wife and I used Maple Leaf Tree Service to remove a lot of trees, 15 of which were over 16" diameter. These and many, many smaller trees were surrounding our home and, once felled, had to be lifted by crane around and over the house. They were placed in front of the house where they were processed and removed from the property. The work was done with such precision and care that nothing on the property was disturbed. When Carl and his team left the property, it was meticulously cleaned of all debris. They even cleaned the entire work area with a leaf blower. The whole crew was courteous, efficient, and most importantly safe. By the end of the day, the trees were gone and there wasn't a sign that they had even been there. The final bill was exactly what was on the estimate, and we know that they removed several that we were considering, but didn't commit to. We were thoroughly impressed and highly recommend Maple Leaf Tree Service to anyone with a large or small project. We will use them again if we decide to remove any more trees in the future. I have used Maple Leaf twice. Both times they had to use the crane to get some large, mature trees out over the tops of houses. Carl's team works like a well oiled machine. We needed to remove a dead tree in the back yard and Carl responded quickly to the emailed quote request. He was out the next day to take a look, survey the backyard and give us a quote. We intended on only doing the one dangerous tree, but we told him our "dream" would be to get rid of 3 around the pool and 2 over the driveway. He took a look at all three, gave us a price quickly. We talked about it for a minute and got a better price than other services. They called 2 days before the appointment date, showed up when they said they would, very professional, even did some extra trimming and removed an entire additional tree a no charge because he "forgot to give his recommendation - we're going to take that other tree too if it's okay - you'll just be calling us again in a couple of years to have us remove it". No extra charge. The wood was removed as they cut it, the driveway was blown clean and there wasn't a trace as they pulled away. Definitely recommend, professional crew, great value. read more

From start to finish this company has impressed me. I watch them take care of a large Maple in my neighbor's yard this was taken care of quickly and completely cleaned up. They were hired for a large job with 4 large hemlock trees that were 10ft from my house and 7 other trees that were quite large in my yard, close to my house and close to a busy road. The team work was amazing. I contacted several tree companies and Maple Leaf responded the quickest, gave a great estimate and Carl was great. Excellent. Got an estimate from Rich to get rid of a dead 40' spruce in my front yard, along with getting rid of the stump, and one other stump from the spruce's sister that fell years ago. My wife and I found the estimate to be very reasonable, so I called him to schedule it. He actually asked if he could do it sooner..(when does that ever happen?) I came home to find no trace of the tree or stumps. We are extremely happy with their work, and are looking forward to not stressing out about the tree falling on our house this winter. read more

I wish I could give them less than one star! Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any business. I highly recommend you do not use this guy. I have never witnessed such utterly disgusting business practices in my life. First, he tried to gouge us with the price because he knew we were in a tough situation - a tree had fallen on our house. He demanded we pay the full amount right then and there. My husband said we couldn't pay the whole thing and told him we would find someone else. He then said he would "accept" half of the amount due right then which we agreed to. We were 2 weeks late paying the remainder of the balance - life happens and sometimes we forget to do things because we're only human. However, we never received any reminders from him - nothing in the mail and not a single phone call. Next thing we know we receive a threatening phone call from him today. My husband sent him a text back because he was at work and didn't want to get into it with him on the phone. Then at 9:10 tonight my husband receives a threatening text from him. I am shocked that someone would run their business this way. All I can say is do not use this pathetic excuse for a business! By far the worst experience I've ever had. read more
