I needed to have a couple of large branches that were hanging over my house and several trees (7) removed from my backyard. I had 4 companies come over and give me quotes. Levesque Wood Co. was the most reasonably priced. They had very limited access to the backyard, so the Yvan (owner) organized getting a crane and rigger to assist in removing the trees. One by one they came over the house and onto the street where the rest of the crew took care of cutting, chipping and stacking the logs ready to ship away. It was quite the operation, how they all worked together and made a tough job look easy. Everything was completed all in the same day. Yvan and his team are professional , courteous and polite as well as hard working. They started on time and didn't stop until the last branch was chipped and the last twig was removed from the street. All I had to do was a little clean up after they left and you would never know that they were here. Yvan also set me up with person to grind down the stumps. I contacted Yvan Levesque on Tuesday regarding a 5-cord delivery of wood. He returned my message within an hour or so. Yvan asked if I had a power splitter, or would I be splitting by hand, stating that he could taylor the log load to the smaller side if I was hand splitting. He called on Saturday morning to let me know the approximate time of delivery (a 1 hr window), and said he would call again as he was leaving the logyard (which is about 20 minutes away). It is great to have this type of information and scheduling, as I did not have to put a Saturday morning on hold to wait. The quality of wood is excellent, and he stacked the logs in such a manner that it will be easy to buck. I recently contacted Levesque Wood Company to ask them if they would consider donating a load of wood chips to our new "Urban Agriculture" program at Lawrence High School. I explained that we needed the wood chips to line the paths of our raised bed school vegetable garden. The same day I made the request, I was contacted by Yvan Levesque who said he was happy to help us - asking us: "how much do you need, and when do you need it?" The wood chips were delivered exactly when requested. I've often had trouble getting a plumber to show up on time - and that's when I'm paying him! I'm a bit late writing this review, as Yves and his team completed the work over a month ago, but I wanted to make sure Levesque Wood Company got the recognition they deserve! Yves was wonderful to deal with--extremely professional, straightforward, prompt, and true to his word. They removed several trees (including the stumps) and trimmed back branches near my house. What I appreciated most was how selective Yves was with the trimming. Instead of aggressively cutting everything back, he listened to what I wanted, offered advice and only targeted dead limbs, branches threatening power lines, or those too close to the house. Gerry (and his wife), Yvan, and Jeremy are all great people. We had about 0.5 acre of land to clear and several trees that needed to be trimmed back. They (Yvan and Jeremy) cleared most of the small stuff (trees, shrubs, etc.) in about an hour using a bobcat and they chipped everything into a truck. Once they were done, they used the wood chips and debris to level the land (and bury some poison ivy). They were finished in ~6hrs and it looks terrific! Overall, it was great watching them work and the price was very reasonable. We would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

I had this company do some tree work for me and they did a very professional job even doing more work than I had asked for. They removed some additional branches they felt could be hazardous in addition to removing a couple of big trees that I wanted taken down. They were extremely professional in all aspects of the work.
