Amazing service and results! I really should have left this review much sooner. I am amazed. I am a first time brand new car owner, so wanted to make sure it stayed it as much of a tip top shape, so I wanted to get some ceramic coating on my car. A lot of places near SF ended up being extremely costly. Then I found MQP. Raj was extremely friendly and explained everything. He really tried to understand my needs when I was dropping the car off. When I came back to pick up my car, I was amazed at what they had done with the car. I mean, the car was pretty new (~2 to 3 months old I think? Maybe?). But boy was I wrong. The car was SHINY. What's more is because it did not require as much work for the prep work, Raj even gave me a discount. AND told me they like to do a year check and said would fix the coating if needed (provided it wasn't me like scratching it off or due to accident). In addition, he said to shoot him any questions I may have regarding taking care of my car and he has been extremely helpful and responsive. I am thinking of getting my girlfriend's car done here as well, but I gotta find a time when she's not using the car as much, since she's not really into this stuff as I am but once she sees the results, damn she's gonna love it. Michael and Raj are fantastic! They know what they are doing and they definitely do great work for a more than resonable price. My fiancee's vehicle had a bunch of scratches on her back bumper and was in a little fender bender on the front bumper and the hood was misaligned. We looked up different places all over the bay area and all the places were quoting us at the cheapest in the $2,500 range. Some were even higher. What made me very hesistant about these places is that they were looking to do work on the passenger door even though there was no damage there; this is how I knew these other places were our to make an extra buck. Another said that we would have to get a brand new car hood because that one was defective. We called Michael and Raj and they set up a date and time that fit our schedule which happened to be on a Saturday. They were willing to open the shop just for us!! We showed Raj the vehicle's damage and he was very thorough with his inspection. We even brought other places quotes and he looked at them as well. Raj looked over it, explained to us why the other places charged us for door repairs. He informed us that other places like to do work on the door because they state they are trying to blend the paint with the door. Doesn't make sense to me!! Raj then inspected the hood; other than being misaligned, which he could fix, it was fine and safe to drive with. The hood didn't need to be changed!!! Raj then quoted us - which was more than half the amount that the other places were giving us - our jaws dropped to the floor. Informed us that this would take about three days and that they will call us with any changes. We dropped the car off on a Wednesday and received it back on a Saturday. It took four days, but Michael and Raj informed us that they wanted to make sure that the paint matched the paint on our vehicle perfectly. We didn't mind since we knew they were doing it for the benefit of our vehicle. Once we got the car back it looked good as new. Couldn't tell there was any damage. Michael mentioned something about starting to get in the business of window tinting, I willl be bringing any new vehicles I want to tint to them. These guys are stand up dudes. They seem to genuinely car about their craft. As a person who takes pride in his of craft, you appreciate when others do as well. If I have any more issues with automobile detailing I will run to these guys. My 2015 Honda CRV has hard water spots/damage and a few dings and scratches. My husband did his research and found Mar Quality Protection. What an amazing establishment. I brought my 2020 Tesla Model 3 here for front PPF + Ceramic coating and Ceramic Window Tint. After doing a bunch of research on all the forums and reading local reviews, I decided on Mar QP. I took my new tesla model 3 straight from delivery to Mar for ceramic coating of body and glass. it was totally worth it for a number of reasons: 1) they do great paint correction as part of their prep work. Tesla is notorious for poor paint jobs and i found this to be true. Mike and his team pointed out all the issues and corrected all of them prior to applying the ceramic coating 2)they have done so many tesla model 3s that they point out issues for owners to go back to tesla to correct. in my case, they found an issue with defective metal trim and a scratched headlight cover. hopefully tesla will address in my upcoming tesla service appointment. 3) they are super passionate and detailed oriented about their work. you can tell both mike and raj love their work. 4) in comparison to other shops, they offer great value. their pricing was better than almost every other bay area shop i contacted over yelp. I was referred to Raj by John at JLenin Window Tint. Per John, Raj was "THE MAN" to go to for ceramic coat and paint protection film application. I received a text from Raj, who directed me to the shop website. The website contained a lot of information on the services provided, from paint correction, to the various options on ceramic coats, PPF, and restoration services. After selecting combo package #2, which consisted of a level 1 paint correction, full front PPF, and IGL Quartz 9H ceramic coating (for a super competitive price), Raj scheduled an appointment with me the following week. He also gave me an estimate of when my car would be ready for pick up On the day of the appointment, Raj looked at my car, went over what would be done, and what time my car would be ready for pick up in 2 days. Throughout those 2 days, I was able to watch snippets of the work being done on my car via the shop's instagram account. It was pretty awesome to be able to see that. The night before pick up, Raj texted me to provide updates on my car and even informed me that my car would be ready for pick up a few hours earlier than expected. I'm not the one to usually write a review but I had to leave Raj and his team at MAR QP one. When I first got my widebody charger (a harder vehicle to get wrapped/ppf) from another shop I regretted it so quickly as the first shop has cut through the paint, the ppf was lifting and looked horrendous over all. I unfortunately got into an accident but was a blessing in disguise when my body shop recommended and sent my car to Raj and his team to redo the ppf as the accident required ppf to be removed and redone since it was repainted. It turned out amazing and clean. My body shop needed to adjust a fender after the repairs and Raj was involved the whole step to re ppf the new fender. My car was cleaned inside and outside before I picked it up as well and I have a hard time usually trusting any type of shop with my cars but Raj was a trustable man, keeping me updated throughout the process. So, I purchased a new 2019 Dodge Charger ScatPack in February, a friend of mine suggested a ceramic coating. I immediately went to Yelp to search reviews on shops that apply ceramic coatings. I found MAR Quality Protection! I sent a message through Yelp and Mike immediately emailed me back. I thought Wow what service already! He actually had just had a baby and was adjusting to the babies needs..lol but still provided excellent service. I purchased the ceramic package with the PPF "clear bra" along with additional pieces for the top of the bumper, side view mirrors, side of the windshield, and behind the back wheel to protect from kickback. I have washed my car using the Chemical Guys Foam Cannon and Honeydew wash, the water just beads off. I dry it using a leaf blower and the water flies off immediately. I have not had to touch the car at all except for cleaning the rims of course. If you have a black vehicle or one that you would like to keep in immaculate condition, MAR QP is the way to go. Picking up my vehicle the crew was very polite, professional and welcoming. I had to return this week for minor repairs "that were self inflicted of course" and Mike treated me as if it were my first visit all over again. Making my appt., meeting the promised completion time, checking the work, and taking the time to be sure I was satisfied. I brought my newly owned E92 to Mike for a consultation and left extremely satisfied with their service, kindness, and knowledge. Finally got my paint correction and ceramic protection checked off. I had wanted to take on the project myself and even purchased my own coating, but just could not commit the labor intensive time to tackle it and decided to look for a professional. Also, unless if your paint is in great condition, it may be a better idea to leave this job to a professional as I've learned ceramic coatings are not like waxes and sealants in that they will magnify your defects rather than mask them. If you don't have the patience to make it perfect you'll have to live with those (very apparent) results. There are plenty of shops that offer ceramic coatings and the requisite paint correction, but none gave the sense of confidence and trust I got with Mar QP and its owner, Raj. Talking to him solidified my understanding that he is a true pretrolhead and knows his jam, especially paint and clear coat jam. With an auto body shop background prior to paint protection and detailing, he was the guru I was looking for. As with any ceramic coating preparation, the bulk of the work is in the paint correction. We began with a paint depth meter inspection which showed that some of my car's panels had been repainted (I'm not the original owner). Now that I think about it, this would explain why some panels behaved strangely when I attempted my own paint correction years ago. Anyway, this information is important as the repainted panels could be of any quality/finish and will be have to be considered when gauging the consistency of the paint correction against the oem panels. Updating me in the process, Raj also quickly found out that the paint itself was very hard. This correction would not be a walk in the park. In fact it proved to be one of the toughest projects he's had to work on, but I'm truly glad that it was left in his hands as the finish (and protection!) is everything I'd hoped for. Keep in mind when looking at these pictures that this is a 6 year old car with almost 70k miles and multiple owners. I am very grateful to Raj and the team at MAR QP for the work they did restoring and protecting the paint on my Audi S4. THIS SUCKS: Read this entire review to get the best information. IT SUCKS THAT I DIDN'T find this place sooner. I sent out an email to these guys for a quote to get the clear coat installed on my 2015 corvette. Raj was awesome he responded right away and then called me to go through with me as to what my exact needs were. I was going to spend more but he talked me out of it and told me that I didn't need such an extreme paint protection for my vehicle and suggested a product that would fit my need. I was seriously so impressed by that that I recommended 2 customers to this place just based on Raj's honesty and good business ethics. Raj then took such great care of my vehicle, he washed, waxed, polished and installed the ClearFX PERFECTLY. He went also went over the do's and the don'ts.
