Milk and bread are usually a bargain as well. Kwik Trip was early in the store brand game, so you'll find a lot of quality snack foods with their own names on them for less than the big brands. Washrooms are always spotless. The company is an amazing growth story, when I first started visiting them in Lacrosse, WI, they had three stores. Now 800+ in WI, IL, IA, and MN.

In fact, this one had no line at all during our fill-up. It has 4 islands, with the 3 leftmost having 3 pumps (thus requiring parallel parking if the middle one is the only one open) while the far right only has 2. (22 nozzles in all). Price per gallon was $3.799 for 87, but 93 octane was $5.099 (a 33% markup)...super glad that our car was fine with 87. It's close enough to the Costco warehouse to notice how empty the parking lot felt on a Monday afternoon. This time, though, my wife didn't want to browse (probably because we would have to take it home by plane).

I was told by the owner and the mechanic that my brakes were "completely shot" and that my vehicle was "dangerous to drive." They said they could fix it right then and there for $350. I told them to hold off. Went to my brother in laws who knows cars, had him check my brakes, he said I have over 60% left on my brakes!!! They were absolutely trying to take advantage of me. Now my boyfriend and his entire family will never go there again. And needless to say, I am spreading the word especially to women. Get a second opinion and trust your gut!
