David, the tech, was very knowledgeable about a lot of things. Including that the city had to be called out to shut off the water valve at the street since it was rusted closed. Thankfully that didn't add to the price at all. I'm not really familiar with how plumbing is supposed to work today, but I certainly am not a fan of everyone charging a fee just to show up and look at your problem to give you a price. They got us on the schedule the same day and the tech called as he was on his way. Best of all they fixed it for a minimal cost. I was really impressed that Signature charges by the job and not hourly. This allowed our tech, Cody, to take his time and look over the system thoroughly. Cody was amazing, I can't say enough about him! In addition to fixing the communication issue that had shut the system down - he cleaned the system, took pictures of the inside, even looked over the water heater and fuse box. Then he spent almost an hour explaining everything he had found in layman's terms. This was very valuable to me as a detail-oriented nerd! I feel like I have a much better understanding of how my system works, what I need to watch out for in the future, and services/maintenance that can help the system run longer without replacement.
