    DO NOT GIVE TLC YOUR MONEY!!! Our AC failed on a weekend so I reluctantly called TLC. They did not make my already negative opinion of them any better. The tech, Dominic S. was not remotely polite. No customer service whatsoever. Talked to me like an idiot when I asked questions. We were talking and my 15 pound dog was touching his leg and he knee'd it away. I would never let him in my house again. He recommended a replacement circuit board. When we received his estimate it had no labor, parts etc. and he flat refused to provide any of that. I called TLC directly and they refused as well. Imagine getting your car repaired and they won't tell you anything about it but the price. Total bullsh*t. We went with someone else and it was just the motor which should have been an easy diagnosis. So not only did they want to charge us $1200 for "something" it would not have even fixed the problem. All TLC wants to do is rip you off. Plain and simple. Find a local individual who will be transparent and treat you like a human and not an inconvenience.

    This company should be taking down. Overcharges for everything and lies to customers. Placed a lien on my property after i paid them in full and they never fixed the problem. TLC Plumbing performed work on my property that was not only substandard but fundamentally dangerous. Specifically, they installed a sewer pipe into my main culinary water line, creating a severe health hazard and cross-contamination of my home's drinking water. Property Damage & Negligence: * Illegal Installation: After hiring an independent, licensed plumbing company to inspect the work, it was confirmed that TLC's installation was illegal and violated state building and health codes. * Structural Damage: The company caused unnecessary destruction to my backyard and my home's foundation by digging excessive and unnecessary holes. * Abandoned Equipment: During their attempt to clear a line, they broke a professional snake cable inside the pipe and abandoned it there, leaving the system non-functional and open without informing me or resolving the issue. Impact: The actions of TLC Plumbing have compromised the safety of my home, destroyed my property, and left me with significant remediation costs. I am seeking a full investigation into their licensing and business practices. I intend to pursue this matter through the New Mexico Attorney General's Office and the District Court to ensure they are held accountable for these dishonorable and illegal actions.

    TLC is a complete ripoff! This month, we were charged $1,748.00 to repair a small, hairpin leak in the attic and to replace an expansion tank above our water heater... TLC technicians looked around for things to repair that we had not called them for and tried to pitch these additional costs to us - we fell for 2 of these pitches. They also overpriced every single part need for a repair job and added additional, unreasonable costs. Example 1: A WEBSTONE EXPANSION TANK stand was charged $503.00 while the exact same part is listed $128 online, nearly 4 TIMES the retail price! Example 2: A 15 AMP MECHANICAL TIMER W/2 GROUNDED OUTLETS costed us $69.32 while the same part is listed $9.99 on Amazon, 7 TIMES the retail price of the item! Example 3: TLC charged us a "LEAK SEARCH DIAGNOSIS" of $214.25 for the small leak in the attic, EVEN THOUGH having found it myself earlier, I lead the TLC technicians directly to the leak! Adding to that, no detailed bill was sent to us. We called to request one, and when we finally got that bill, we saw how badly they had taken advantage of us... We called TLC to complain but they were inflexible on the price. We discussed and showed this bill with another plumbing company and they could not believe how much we got ripped off. BUT there is a silver lining, because there are places like YELP that brings a bit of justice and expose companies like TLC... Bad karma and greed come at a price and swing both ways! Too bad we cannot give them ZERO stars.

    Highly recommend Kidzz mechanical! My minisplit went off bfore the long weekend..so the whole house…read moredid not have any heat and i only had time to reach out once i got back in town. The staff were really responsive, had great empathy...and we're really courteous. They were quite open to fit me in their schedule and once I mentioned my preferences..they were able to get me in the following morning..even when it's early out! Glad to see a business open to working early! They let me know my scheduled arrival time for the technician would be between 7-9am. At a little after 7, they texted to let me know Cesar their technician was on the way...and very soon after..I got a knock on my door by 7:30! Cesar was very thorough in diagnosing the minisplit problem that I had..and was able to help provide me with some good recommendations on what to do with the minisplits! By 9am, he was done helping me restore heat to my home! Thank you son much much! The interaction was very pleasant from initial inquiry to finish by all the staff! I highly recommend and will use this service again for any future problems with HVAC for sure!

I've tried multiple times over the course of two years to work with this company. I give up at this point. Chad -- that's a lie. They said they would call back and provided no options for scheduling. They informed me. The system at all and would have to call me back. Check your records. Did you have a system malfunction on the day that I sent you that I had called and spent two minutes on the phone with your staff? And that was the second attempt to contacting your office. There's an email that has not been reply to which you can also check your records on. Your staff is not only worthless, but they're liars. Hire legitimate staff. Your office team has been worthless since day one. I'm not high demand... I just expect to NOT be verbally assaulted by your tech, left with a massive pile of haphazardly placed wires, to get on the schedule the first time I contact not the third time a month later after being ignored for four weeks , and not be attempted to be extorted because your tech found some keys on the sidewalk. Instead of the $100 they asked me for, I gave them some cold drinks to take with them. That would be the shorter guy who serviced my hvac. I should have dropped you on the first sign of trouble and giving away free hours to manger bad service isn't good business. It's pathetic. Nice try defending yourself. What your techs do is not only bad business, it's illegal.

    We needed to upgrade our entire HVAC system due to rising energy costs. We had a furnace on propane…read moreand the cost to use it is almost prohibitive.The hubby is a professional commercial HVAC control's technician and did a lot of research and contacted Harter Electric. They came out for for a quote and check what we needed. When the consult and quote was done, within 2 days we were scheduled and installation began. The crew was professional and quick with the work. Now, we have a system that is so much more comfortable and keeps all rooms at a constant temperature. Five rooms, 5 room systems and 2 outside units with all electrical and ductwork was done in 1 1/2 days. The cool part of the system is it's controlled by remote, and there's one in each room, but if one is lost, they work on the rest, Awesome thing about this system, each room can be set to heat, cool and automatic control. You set the temp you want (all function controlled by remote control) and how powerful you want the fan, you can set it to sweep back and forth etc... One thing I do want to say that I was able to dictate the placement of the unit in our bedroom. Although it may have been easier for the crew to place the unit a wall closer to the outside unit, I requested another wall so I did not have to move family pictures and special things. The owner told me, that I had to live with it, so they would do what I wanted. I'm disabled and having thing's comfortable isn't always easy. The cost of this system is worth every penny. The speed of process from time of initial contact to completion was about a week. Thanks to the crew who came out and made our home more comfortable. We got it just in time for a really cold, snowy and windy storm and all the rooms were so comfy. They are a professional, knowledgeable, and polite crew.
