I.LOVE.THIS.PLACE. So hard to come to Rome and see all the gelateria and can't eat any because I'm lactose intolerant. This gelateria has vegan gelato. I had the cioccolato amedi 95% and pistacchio di bronte dop and it was absolutely deeeelishussss . Will be back again.

    Four scoop Gelato

Grabbed a four scoop, four different flavors gelato cup here while on our golf cart tour of Rome. It was over two weeks ago, so I don't remember the exact flavors, but damn they were good.

We got tiramisu and pistachio gelato here. Most places let you choose 2 flavours no matter how small of a size you get. The gelato was creamy. Flavours were strong but I wasn't wowed by the gelato here. Still on the hunt for the best gelato in Italy

This was the only gelato place I had to come visit twice. It was so fricken good, I stopped my plans and had to walk my behind back to this place. The chocolate was perfection and rich. The cafe flavor was smooth and strong. Everything came together like a beautiful sunrise. Damnit it was so good...

    Mango and strawberry

Of the dozen gelaterias I tried in Italy, this was definitely one of the best. The mango and strawberry were excellent - so good. They have several non-dairy sorbet options. Highly highly recommend if you're in the Campo de Fiori area. Wish I had the chance to go back a second time.

Delicious gelato with multiple flavors to choose from. The place was bright, clean and had friendly staff!

Top 2 of 14 Gelato places I have tried in Rome and Florence. Good selection of uncommon flavors. I enjoyed cannole and tiramisu flavors.

Holy Italian cioccolato! So before I left for Rome, I did some research on where to buy chocolate…read morebecause, well, I seek out the best chocolate everywhere that I go. Now, I had forgotten about this place until (happily), I came across it quite by accident while strolling around Monti. So of course, I stopped in. I was greeted by the store clerk who I first thought was a little mean-looking. However. She was a delightful woman who spoke to me in French and took the time to tell me about the different flavors, pricing etc. she was very helpful and didn't rush me as I decided which flavors I wanted. Great service. I selected a handful of flavors - about ten pieces of chocolate, and these cost 8€. Let me tell you one very important thing: this chocolate is totally worth the price. Thus far, I've tried the orange slice dipped in dark chocolate, and the lemon peel (also dipped in dark chocolate) and I can confirm that we are looking at quality. Fantastic flavors! The chocolatier makes each piece right there so you know it's authentic and fresh. Interestingly, the chocolatier is the son of the man who owns the very well known Moriondo è Gariglio, who happens to be Rome's oldest chocolate shop - so he learned from the best. If you're in Monti, these guys are worth the detour.

If you're just expecting top quality handmade chocolates, you won't be disappointed; but this store has plenty more to offer as well. Jams, teas and infusions, jellies, biscuits, sugared almonds and chocolate spreads and crèmes make it tough for even the most self-disciplined shopper to leave empty-handed. They also serve an excellent hot chocolate, to drink inside or take away. The service is friendly and attentive, and although the handmade chocolates are quite pricey, you won't be disappointed with the quality. Remember, chocolate is made from a bean so technically it's a vegetable! ;) Eat your veggies! Yum!
