No nonsense. Again a great experience having major work done by Craig.

Great service at a great price. Not many companies out there that still have this quality. This gentleman handles his business professionally and in a timely manner. They have worked on 1 of my pistols & 1 AR. Now getting another pistol sights done right now. There local to me & in Yolo County. Not too much of a drive from Sacramento or Yolo Counties, & their service, quality & rates are well worth it. Glad your here for our needs!!!!

no posts to hold optic, milled flat

I called Maraviov's looking to see if he could mount a red dot optic on my pistol. He claimed he could so I brought the pistol and optic to him having full faith that he knew what he was doing, When I picked up my pistol, it was evident he had never done it before. Maraviov's only milled into the slide 1/32 of an inch, a standard RMR footprint optic is milled 1/8th of an inch. He claimed the metal was "really hard" on the slide. He also did not mill the bosses (posts) for the optic that take the g force caused by the firing of the weapon. Instead he milled it completely flat, tapped 2 holes for the screws and used blue loc tite and the 2 screws to hold it down. There is over 2000 g's of force on a slide when firing. The screws are not designed to take that kind of force. The loc tite and screws would have eventually failed and sheared more than likely sending the optic flying back in to my face. Nobody in the industry smears blue loc tite on the optic and slaps it on the slide. There's more, he also milled straight across the slide instead of following the slight curve of the optic. So there is a small gap between the front of the optic and slide. The only thing that saved me is he took so little slide material away when he milled it that another company said they would probably be able to salvage it. All I had to do was wrench my $300 optic off the slide without breaking it and chip the loc tite off. I would have preferred he told me he had never done it before. Long story short, when it comes to getting a red dot mounted on your pistol, send it to someone who knows what they are doing. Maraviov's clearly does not and will slap it together and call it good.

I bought a revolver a couple years ago with every…read moreintention of using it... and then I put it in my gun safe where it basically became a very expensive paperweight for two years. I finally decided it was time to stop being nervous and actually go to the range. After reading the reviews, I decided to check this place out, and I'm really glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I told them it was my first time at the range, and they took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and help me get set up. That made a huge difference because walking into a range as a newbie can feel a little intimidating. Once I got to my lane, I was only there for about 30 minutes, but I enjoyed every minute of it. My confidence definitely grew, and I left feeling way more comfortable than when I walked in. Overall, great first experience. Friendly staff, helpful guidance, and a welcoming environment for beginners. I'm looking forward to coming back for more practice -- and this time, I promise I won't wait another two years.

We all know, purchases / transfers in California are difficult and wrought with bureaucracy & nonsense. This shop, makes it simple and easy for you to get it done. In addition, they have a very nice indoor range with a VERY wide multitude of rental firearms. Aside from the good customer service & cool indoor range, they had an incredibly wide variety of stock for sale. I noticed they had VERY fair prices, like some firearms were easily $100-125 less a piece than the FUDD gun shops here in (510) Alameda County. I would say the top highlight of this gun shop was the lack of FUDD. I experienced & saw / heard zero FUDD nonsense. Just straight up good, solid, friendly customer service & plenty of great products to choose from. It's also noteworthy that they had a really good inventory of ammo for reasonable pricing. I'll definitely be spending some more money here. Keep it up guys!!
