The store called me 3 days ago and said I could pick up my shotgun today which is actually past the 10 days. I received a phone call today that my application was still pending. When I called the store back i spoke to the owner he was extremely rude and short with me. I asked him why his store called me a few days earlier and told me I had no problems picking up my gun today. He responded with if I don't like his response he would cancel my order making it so I wound have to wait another 10 days. I asked him for a phone number so I could try and follow through with the process and if others that purchased before me where abel to get their guns. He wouldn't answer about wait times and said he would give me a number only to hang up on me. He then called me back in 2 minutes saying he canceled my order that a refund would be waiting at the store. I couldn't t believe this guys anger management issues and that he would do this after waiting the 10 day period. I contacted the police, they where able was to get me a partial refund. However, even though this guy cancelled my order he did not refund me the whole amount. The state fees and their fee was not refunded now I have to wait another 10 days to get another weapon. To the owner: I understand we are in hard times right now and that I'm sure your under a lot of stress. But you shouldn't t take your stress out on customers you should be great full you still have a job/business. Yes everything might be backlogged but you can nicely explain that and not have your employees call me and tell me I'm ok to pick up on a day only to not be. And to cancel a contract after waiting 10 days putting my family at risk just because your mad and taking away my legal right to purchase a gun shame on you . Then to take part of my money that you did not refund even worse. I hope others read this when deciding to do business there or purchase a gun. Treat people right. We are all going through a lot right now . I really wish I had read all the reviews on here before coming in appears he has done this to many people.

So, after getting some directions from the local Tattoo parlor, I found this place. The people were very friendly and helpful. The cold weather jacket that I bought was only 20 dollars and that's pretty cheap. It was almost like new! Humboldt's evening weather didn't phase me and I wore this jacket throughout my driving trip. Places like this shop are gold mines of information when compared to the big chain sporting goods stores, where almost everyone working doesn't know about camping. I can only give them 4 stars because their supplies aren't that big. They only had one jacket, which was the one I bought. There were other cool jackets, but were simply to small for me. Other that were on sale didn't attract my attention. In the end though, I did a good choice.

There was only one and they charged me thirty one dollars for it. You can buy them online for eighteen. As I said, nice guys, but I would never shop there again and recommend you don't either. I am an ex-cop, know a little about guns, and have been shooting most of my life.

Not only did they have the exact model she was looking for (coincidentally, the same one I wanted to purchase originally), but the staff was noticeably more professional and welcoming this time around. While my friend certainly turned a few heads--she's objectively very striking--what stood out more was the consistently courteous and knowledgeable service we both received. It felt genuine and customer-focused, which made the entire visit smooth and enjoyable. The staff was so helpful and relaxed that I ended up making a few purchases myself--completely unplanned, but I couldn't resist. It's possible my earlier experience was just an off day, and this visit definitely changed my perspective. As a nice bonus, they even gave me a handful of stickers for my gun room wall, which was a thoughtful touch. When I called, I was told it would be sent out that same day as soon as I got off the phone. That didn't happen. Then two days later, they called me and said they would send it out "that day" again. At that point, it just felt like I was being told whatever I wanted to hear rather than getting honest updates. Overall, really poor communication and follow-through. If you're looking to buy a firearm or deal with repairs, I'd honestly recommend going somewhere else. Turners Outdoorsman would probably be a better option.

He also knew some hunting guides for hunts in the coast range just east of Willows. His fishing report about East Park and Stony Gorge Reservoirs were really helpful. As outdoorsmen we really need the local hunting and fishing shops to be there when we need them. They have the knowledge and the products to get you on the water with a good idea of what will catch fish. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they are still building their inventory but then had a bunch of fishing stuff ready to go on the shelf the day I was there.

We had never been to a Turner's before, but I was expecting a bigger store. It's small but mighty, filled with fishing and hunting gear. The young lady at the front of the store immediately welcomed us in and asked if we needed help. She was pleasant and efficient with getting the fishing license for my husband. We walked around the store for a quick browse. Most of the other employees were busy helping other customers at that moment. Can't really speak on the inventory or the prices, compared to Big 5 or Walmart, but at least we know what to expect from Turner's Outdoorsman. Check them out as an alternative to the big box stores.
