Overview: a beautiful station, very big and can be confusing, many stores and food options…read more ---- I stayed a hostel 5 minutes away by walking and this station was so convenient. The architecture was so beautiful at any time of the day. The inside being quite beautiful as well, especially when you walk upstairs overlooking the Eurostar trains and see a couple different statues there. My favorite was the large one of the couple embracing. Platform 9 3/4 is located in this station, for Harry Potter fans, the cart is available during the day to take a picture with for a price, but after hours they remove it and you can still take pics and videos with it! During my stay they had free ice cream outside the station that was super yummy and a nice little treat to have before heading out in my way to the trains. Inside the station are lots of places to eat and has cheap, convenient food spots like Greggs, and nicer sit-down places as well. It can be a bit tough navigating through the station because it's so big (especially when using maps and trying to find places like restaurants inside of the station) but for the train areas just follow the signs and it's pretty self explanatory. They even have a piano for people to play for fun which was cool to see and hear. Scanning in and out of the station is also easy because all you need is a credit/debit card and you don't even need to purchase a ticket which is so much more convenient compared to places in the US or France. ---- Overall: a great station to stay near and to go to, easy-ish to navigate and lots of places to eat at, very beautiful station as well

The location is great because if you come in here, you're close to Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, Embankment and Leicester Square. There are not too many tracks so it's easy to get your train. We took a Southeastern train to London Bridge here and it was very quick. For connected tube service, you can access the Northern and the Bakerloo lines. It's quite a trek to get to the Bakerloo line but it's nice to have the connections in one place. Also, many bus lines go right be here so it's easy to get a direct ride to this station. While we were staying near Trafalgar Square, this was our most used transit hub.

We greatly appreciated the convenience of the direct Canterbury West to Charing Cross Route and the subsequent short walk to our hotel (at Trafalgar Square) from there. The wallpaper reminded me of 2006 Victoria's Secret, and the doors are floor to ceiling offering the most privacy of any public restroom I have been in. The entire station is ridiculously clean compared to any US train or bus station I have traveled through. There are many options for coffee and food, as well as a mini M&S and Tesco Express.... Tesco Express meal deal for less than £4 cannot be beat!!! 5 stars for convince, cleanliness, friendliness, and Tesco Express.

When conversing with the very nice employee here and he was explaining the zones he informed me that the majority of all travelers remain within Zone 1-2 on the Jubilee line. He also informed that the Westminster stop would be where a lot of the sights would be. Upon arrival, I noticed how clean the station was, I didn't see a garbage can in sight, but yet, I didn't one piece of garbage on the floor. All stops here have signage everywhere-- where to transfer, where to exit, some of the sights at that station, etc. what a huge help when you're in a city or country for the first time! They have an employee at the gate so you can ask questions and they are actually eager to assist without an attitude!

The staff is predominantly helpful, especially for the newbies who have no idea why their train isn't listed within eyeshot on those screens. Pro tip if you have a few extra minutes: go upstairs and grab a bench there, along with a drink/snack as you gaze down at the hoi polloi below. Just make sure you jump when the polite announcer calls your number.

I've never had to wait in line to buy a ticket at the machines. The screens are large and pretty clear to help you figure out what train to take, and you can see all the different platforms. There are a lot of shops in this station to buy food - including Pret-a-Manger if you want a salad for something healthy. There's also Upper Crust or places to get coffee or a Boots if you need to pick up something there. You don't have to walk too far to get to the Tube, which is nice and the place has a lot of natural sunlight. The station is pretty, and they even have a Christmas tree during the holidays. All in all, a fine station to take the train and it's pretty centrally located. It's close to Borough Market too, which is nice if you want a good selection of food before or after your train gets in.

Still, it is rather nice station, and only one of the exits goes into the shopping mall. Of course, with me not being all that familiar with London (and the tube not having the exit information that some metro systems have, such as Hong Kong & Singapore), I ended up in the shopping mall. Bond Street Underground is one of the stops on the Underground to serve Oxford Street, basically,…read moreturn right leaving the station on the short cut-off and you're fairly close to the old HMV and New Bond Street. As expected with the central location it is located inside Zone 1, this guarantees you the cheapest travel with contactless and Oyster payments you can travel unlimited within Zones 1 and 2 for £7 per day. Bond Street Underground is also served by a large number of buses, of course, a good number of buses in London go down Oxford Street anyway, but many stops nearby on New Bond Street, guaranteeing perfect access to the station. As one of the busiest stations on the network with 30-40 million people passing through the station each year, the station does appear to be staffed however they didn't seem as friendly as other stations such as Shepherds Bush and Victoria, where the staff were excellent. It is also step-free if you require that, and the closest step-free station to Baker Street and marks the start of every station going towards Stratford being step-free on the Jubilee line. Bond Street is also between Marble Arch and Oxford Circus on the Circle line. The lifts were easier than average to navigate, especially compared to the likes of Victoria and Southwark where I found there to be too many lifts (and a confusing layout) or the lifts being too slow and old-fashioned. It is probably the best lifts I've found in an Underground Station alongside Green Park and Stratford. There are no shops directly inside the station as there is at Westminster and Baker Street which isn't a problem because on the doorsteps of London's main and busiest shopping street. One of my favourite tube stations based on central location, ease of access and cleanliness so perhaps it does even warrant a four-star rating.
