My husband bought me a Taro Boba and he got himself a BrownSugar Boba so I can only rate this location based on its product not their their location ambiance nor customer service. This has been the worst boba I've ever had. It literally tasted like oil and the boba had no flavor. Came here for the first time with my wife. We ordered the coffee milk-tea with lychee jelly (delicious, but probably better without the jelly) and the passion fruit orange and grapefruit tea with lychee jelly (very sweet). I used to come here all the time for boba but recently their service and their drinks became terrible. We ordered an oolong tea and it tasted like tap water. Also - I got 0% sugar ginger milk tea and it was way too sweet despite this. I told them I didn't like it as I didn't expect it to literally be sugar syrup; my friends thought the same for sweetness. The staff didn't even offer to replace my drink even when I asked for a cup of just ANY brewed tea... they just said they followed the recipe and had zero % customer service. read more

Very unfortunate. The time on the door says they are open at 11am. The door was unlocked and I went in to be served. I waited a few minutes, the lady came out from the back surprised that I was in the building and said they were not open another 20mins and mentioned a sign in the door with alternate hours. I feel that the sign posted on door should be bigger and door locked if they want to keep customers out. Safety issue for themselves, and prevention for customers to not waste their timing waiting to not be served. This is my second time here. Wonderful news for vegans: they use a non-dairy creamer! Located conveniently at the heart of Century Square, Sharetea is a perfect place to get your vegan and non-vegan milk tea boba! I've been drinking Sharetea since college --close to a decade at this point (gasp), so even though this was my first visit to this location in College Station, I knew what I was getting myself into. However, since this was my first visit in years (and definitely my first visit as a vegan), I was super stoked to learn that they use a non-dairy creamer! So without having to settle with regular brewed tea or fruit tea, I got the taro pearl milk tea with crushed oreo. The employees were friendly and made my order quickly, and the drink was great without any unpleasant surprises. I will definitely be coming back for more! read more

We've been to Sharetea at least 10 times, and they've been great. The tea is tasty. The boba and other "toppings" are well prepared and tasty. There is a good amount of variability. Service is pretty quick and friendly. There are a couple of small tables, but it's really a take-out place. The only real downside is that they're often out of one or more ingredients, and sometimes that's exactly what I want. They're not the end-all-be-all of boba tea places, but I'm always happy to go. Top selections for us are the wintermelon lemonade, cocoa lover, and strawberry ice blended with lychee jelly (like a smoothie). read more

What to get: Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea (made with brown sugar) And: Classic Pearl Milk Tea - the more straightforward version, refreshing and perfect And: Whole Lemon Black Tea w/tapioca and less ice - if you love Lemon, this may be the best Lemon Boba drink on earth. On the other hand some of the other employees here were nowhere near as friendly and we heard some people being sternly told that the place will be closing in 20 minutes not when they were buying their drinks - but after they received the drinks a few minutes later. Then after most employees left and we were the only ones hanging out and since we were friendly with a couple of the employees they started complaining loudly and vocally and including profanity about people coming during the last half an hour. Over time, sharetea has become my favorite boba chain. The tea is rarely overbrewed, great consistency and tastes great. Today I decided to try an oolong milk tea and though it was darker in color than I'm used to, still great flavor with just enough sweetness at your customizable values. I feel like I got scammed. I don't normally say this because I can basically eat and drink everything that I order even if it is kind of bad, but it felt like for what I had to pay, it was NOT WORTH IT. I ordered the Matcha Red Bean with Ice Cream on top and the Okinawa Milk Tea with Pearls for my sister. The Matcha Red Bean was bland (it was basically more water flavored then matcha flavor), there were no red beans from I can see and I was really sucking for those red beans, but the ice cream did provide some creaminess to the drink. However, I felt it was missing something and I ended up not finishing it because it made me really sad that it cost that much and tasted like that. I took a sip of my sister's milk tea (because why not?)and it was better than the matcha, but it was nothing special. The boba pearls were soft, chewy, and sweet, but the milk tea was just like any other place and did not justify its price (in my opinion). I really wanted to like this place, the menu looked really good and I thought the prices were a reflection of the quality, but it wasn't. The ambience was nice and the interior was cute. The cashier was training someone when I was there so I was patiently working with someone new, but I didn't think it was bad ordering experience. It was a pretty crowded Friday when I ordered, but I was the only one ordering at the time so I got my order quick, but it felt like they were really rushing maybe in making my order. Drinks: Very refreshing on this hot day!! I got the mango ice blended with ice cream on top. I also got lychee jelly added. This may sound like a lot, but it was worth it. The only thing I didn't like about this drink was that it was a little bland. The ice cream definitely added some creaminess and flavor to it, but it could still use more flavor. Service: Super fast!! They use an iPad to order, and it seems pretty efficient. Making the drinks seems to take awhile, but not that long. Customer service is always on point here! I was so happy to hear that ShareTea was opening in College Station! I I went to their soft opening and I'm so surprised with this place. The place is so hip and has a good number of tables and outlet for studying. As for the drinks, it's on par with the ShareTea in Houston Chinatown. My favorite drink here is the oolong classic milk tea 50% sugar double boba but I also ordered the passion fruit tea, just felt like it haha. Both were so good and well worth the money. This location in college station was my first time trying sharetea. I'm a huge boba fan and often get fruit teas. I ordered the Mango green tea and it had a really weird after taste. My friend got a green tea too but it didn't have a weird taste. Not the best boba, but I've heard so many great things about sharetea so maybe it was just my experience. read more

Sharetea has already been open for a few days since its soft opening, but no one's posted a review for this place yet, so I wanted to offer up my own review after having visited three times this week. Although Sharetea is new to College Station, I visited the Houston location frequently whenever I was in area, and also visited Sharetea a lot when I lived in Taipei and Singapore and whenever I was in Toronto for business. Since College Station already has existing bubble tea players with rival chain Kung Fu Tea and local place Sweethorse, I will focus my review on how they compare to those existing places. TASTE: Sharetea in general has always been in my top two favorite international bubble tea chains (the other being Chatime) in terms of taste, and I wanted to see if my go-to drinks were similarly tasty to the other chains. Whenever I go to a new bubble tea location, I judge them on how well they can make a classic milk tea, a taro milk tea, and one of their specialty drinks (the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea for Sharetea). For patriotic reasons, I also get these drinks with 100% sugar and 100% ice. I can attest that these drinks are on par with the other Sharetea chains, and confirm that Sharetea is my favorite of the dedicated bubble tea places in town. SERVICE: Nothing special. They aren't friendly like at Sweethorse or quick like at Kung Fu Tea, but service is something that I don't care much about as long as they make my drink correct and in less than 10 minutes, which they did in all three of my visits. VALUE: It's America. Standard bubble tea is going to cost $4 on average. If you want bubble tea, you will spend that much per drink. But at that price, Sharetea is fine given how tasty the drinks are. ATMOSPHERE: Like the other Sharetea locations in North America, this is an indoor setting as opposed to an outdoor booth setting. However, this is the smallest Sharetea location that I've been to, and it seems roughly the same size as Sweethorse's already small location. There are several four-seater tables that can sit multiple groups, which is great for groups of three or four. But larger groups are better off taking their drinks outside to hang out, and I wish they had stools and a counter at the window for additional setting and for people who are going either solo or with a friend. Otherwise, the place has a somewhat minimalist that makes it look spacious and clean-looking. It's a nice place to hang out and enjoy a drink if it's not crowded. VERDICT: If I want bubble tea, I would go to Sharetea first. It's the tastiest of the dedicated bubble tea places in town, and it's also the closest to campus by far. It's not even fair. read more

I always get Honey Lemonade with aloe vera with no ice because I don't want it to water down as I drink. But because they put extra water for the amount of ice missing, I always ask them if they could put extra lemonade too; since the drink comes out very watered down w/o it. Today I ordered the same as usual, and they said there will be an extra charge for the extra lemonade. Extra lemonade $.75 is definitely not on the menu, and no other location charges extra for extra lemonade for missing ice. The BEST BOBA in town hands down. Don't waste your time with others in College Station. This place serves delicious boba that is fresh and well cooked every time. I have had a number of different options and they are all great. The staff is quick and friendly, and the drink size is very large. I would highly suggest the honey milk tea with boba. The Hokkaido milk tea is amazing also. One con: most of their fruit teas are WAY too sweet, and I like sweet. You need to reduce the sugar to at least 30% on nearly all of them. I normally like this share tea, and I totally understand that people want to go home, however I used to work in service too, and not accepting orders literally 20 minutes before your posted closing time is not acceptable. The listed time they close online, and on their door, actually says 11 pm, however when we came in at 10:40, they refused to serve us. I'm not sure if they just weren't properly trained or the others being served were their friends or something, however when we walked in 20 minutes before closing and they were serving other customers, they said "sorry but we're closed".
