They top it with a piece of chocolate bark and the drink is served pretty fast. Loved the thickness of the shake but was very disappointed by the brownie taste. Pieces of brownie that tasted old. Ruined the shake. Second time- even though the first time was a disappointment- I went back to show support. I had their chocolatier and this one was much better compared to the first one. There was a lot of chocolate chips (they didn't skim on that) and again the shake was thick and creamy. The place is a pricey- $14 for a bark and shake, but it's good every one in awhile.

Tonight we started the ride with milk shakes from The Milkshake Factory. This is a BIG STEP UP from Dairy Queen near the house. I got the mint chip shake ($6.95) and my Wife got a plain Chocolate shake (also 6.95). After getting our shakes (in under two minutes) we headed outside to a bench nearby to enjoy them. Mine was creamy with bits of chocolate bouncing up a rather large bore straw that held firm to a big pull. Apparently someone at Corporate has a clue about what constitutes a proper milkshake straw. I tried a sip of my Wife's chocolate shake and it was also creamy with a chocolaty finish that let you know it was milk chocolate. Both of these were premium shakes that did not disappoint the taste buds or texture of the pull. While I would not go here often, the shakes are rich, I would make it a place to consider for an after meal treat from time to time. Their menu is large for a speciality shop and their chocolate bar samples were tasty as well. They are in the Kroger Shopping Center off of Gosling and Research Forest on the Shadowbend side of Kroger. Most nights they are open until 10pm. I don't come often because parking is always a nightmare, and tonight was no exception. When I showed them the app, the staff seemed confused on how to do a redemption. So they had to call the owner for help. The owner apparently told them not to honor the redemption because they were in the process of switching rewards program platforms, and what used to be a 50‑point reward was going to be a 300‑point reward. The staff said my points would transfer eventually, but I only will have 63 -- not enough under the new system. Hey, I'm no entrepreneur. But I am a customer who eats out all the time. And to me this is a textbook example of an owner who doesn't get customer service. I drove all the way there, dealt with the parking, and came specifically to redeem a reward that still showed as valid in their app. It's not my fault their system hadn't switched over yet. These cakeball and truffle treats are only the size of a donut hole. It's not one of their higher end desserts. The obvious right move would've been to honor the reward and give the customer the treat. But nope. They chose the stingy route instead. And with that one decision, they lost another customer.
