First of all, the office is clean, nice and calming! Low lighting, tv on a good channel and plenty of room to sit comfortably. The staff is absolutley excellent with knowledge, help and friendliness. We do not have the dental insurance that they accept, except through PPO. We, of course, have an HMO. I will be changing over when the time comes. In the meantime, the staff and Dr. have been able to give us information on the exact steps of care with importance that we need, so we can pay as we go! How awesome is that? Other dental offices, in our past, have just offered to cram us into a credit service. Yikes! Please, if you are searching for a lady dentist, you will find a sweetheart.... Dr. Miranda x! Now I was faced with tooth that gave no warning , I couldn't touch it I realized I had to go to a Dentist, Pickens Dental Associates were the only Dentist office that took my call all the others were leave a number. I've had a lot of experience with dentists, and Dr. Kenna is the only one that (I've learned) I don't have to be afraid of. I know whatever happens he's going to be kind, gentle, and he won't gouge my wallet. His hygienists and dental assistants are equally as gentle. I've been a patient since he first opened this office and I've never been disappointed with the care. His practice has grown leaps and bounds since that time because more and more people have discovered the same thing. Highly recommend!

She stated that my mom, "should've come in earlier to do her paperwork and because she didn't, she took too long and she can't be seen until they are ready to see her " My mom is 75 , almost 76 years old. She is the kindest, gentlest soul you will ever meet and she has never spoke to anyone in any way other than kindly and gently. She deserves only the best and was given only the worst. When Dr Holsen owned this practice he was the finest most upstanding man and we actually had mutual patients. He would have never spoken to anyone in the way said " office manager" now speaks to patients. She claims to have worked for him for 15 years, but she evidently took nothing from his sweet nature and kind spirit. You can give this place a shot if you want to, but I wouldn't take my elderly parents there if were you. Unless you come in early ( which we did by the way), and are " Speedy Gonzales"from the Bugs Bunny show, they will make you feel terrible and ruin your entire day. They ruined my moms.

Worst dental practice experience ever…read more I've been told by all previous Dentists that I'm a champ in the chair; three re-fillings in one sitting no complaints from me. This place was like going back to the 70"s with the office equipment. My X-ray experience was horrible. I should have known it would be given that someone working the front desk took them. The Dentist wasn't at all interested in me, just the fact that I was from Atlanta and she was having her bachelorette party there. Worst of all, they refused to clean my teeth stating J had acute periodontal disease and needed a $1,500.00 procedure not covered, or governed, by insurance. Also that I had three cavities that needed immediate attention, when my previous Dentist of 5 yrs said I didn't. I declined then, also ignoring their persistent follow up calls and emails. I recently had another visit at a new practice on 153 in Easley. East Main didn't forward my records to them as I requested. Regardless, my new Dentist confirmed I didn't have periodontal disease, no cavities, and cleaned my teeth under my insurance no problem.

I think Dr Price is very competent and have no problem with his work. However, communication with the office staff is frustrating. I've gotten messages to call them, then when I return their call, they don't know why they called. This office is not specifically a pediatric dental office, but my kids had a great experience and the staff was very kind and good with kids. The office manager made it simple to schedule the appointments and didn't keep us waiting very long. In fact, they scheduled us at a time when 2 hygienists were working so that two could be cleaned at the same time, which was convenient for me time-wise. I was most impressed by Dr. Price, Zach, and the the rest of the staff at Trailhead. They were friendly, attentive, and patient while working with young children. The kids actually enjoyed the experience and were not at all put off or made nervous by anyone there. I will be recommending their office to friends and family in the future!
