There is no way to bypass it. I filled out the paperwork by hand even though I lost my place in line. On top of that, their website says they have an X-ray. THEY DO NOT HAVE AN X-RAY! The guy who came out of the "MANAGER" office said "well, you can come back on *maybe* Tuesday and someone can do it?" IT'S SUNDAY. So apparently they have a machine, but no one to reliably run it (or read the images)?! This place is all window dressing and no substance. Then he had the gaul to tell me "good luck finding urgent care with X-ray." I will be going to TriHealth Priority Care in the morning where I know with 100% certainty they have a functional X-ray and TriHealth physicians to read them. I'm not waiting until "maybe Tuesday" to get x-rays. They shouldn't advertise that they have an x-ray if they don't. And of course his answer to that was "well we can give you medication." I don't want medication. I want answers as to whether I should wrap and "R.I.C.E." it or have it set by a physician. If you have an injury that you think even MIGHT need X-rays, go somewhere else. Not worth the time, aggravation or (actual) pain. The "Manager" speaks very little English and is difficult to understand. He said I wouldn't lose my place in line and failed to tell me about the no-xray until AFTER I filled everything out. Call before you go somewhere, and drive right by this place. Not worth your time or the aggravation.

I liked Dr. G. with my first and only visit so much that I was willing to drive some distance to…read moresee her. However, today I had an issue that I think was created by poor communication between Dr. G and her office staff. I had labs ordered prior to the pandemic. I really wanted to get my labs done, but there was significant hesitancy on my part due to the pandemic. I am a nurse who works from home. I took the precautions very seriously. I did not get the labs because I did not think the benefits outweighed the risks during the pandemic. I am finally vaccinated and decided to go on the day I had carved out for an office visit with Dr. G. I called Dr. G.'s office to cancel the appointment, so I could get the labs first. I had cancelled a couple of appointments during the pandemic because though I felt I needed to be seen, I just could not justify going to the doctor's office without being vaccinated. Today, I was cancelling because I wanted to get the lab work first and am now vaccinated. I have not been feeling well and want to see if the labs could offer some explanation. It made sense to me to get the labs first. When cancelling and making my appointment, I specifically asked the office staff about the labs still being active/good. As a nurse, which I am, I thought after a year, lab orders typically expire. The office staff said the labs were still in the computer and were still good. I was skeptical but when I inquired further, the office staff member said that I could go to any Tri Health Lab and the lab orders were still active. Foolishly, I went. The labs were actually expired. It resulted in a hassle for the outpatient lab and it was embarrassing to me. The doctor was called and she asked to talk to me. The entire waiting area and staff at the outpatient lab heard a lecture from Dr. G about how I had cancelled my appointment and declined to reschedule my appointment. Which was inaccurate. I pointed out to Dr. G. that I had explained to the office staff that I would need to call back to reschedule-I have a very complicated heavy, national call schedule with hospitals, and that is what I told the office staff. I had NOT declined. I did not get the chance to explain that I had not wanted to go into her office nor get labs unvaccinated during a pandemic, I did not get the chance to say that the entire group of staff and people waiting for labs could hear her lecture me, which actually seemed like a HIPPA violation, and as a nurse, I did not like that someone was insinuating that I was irresponsible with my health when I had been so responsible to avoid every unneeded appointment and outing during the pandemic in order to protect my health and the health of my family. I AM A NURSE. Dr. G ended the conversation by saying that I should follow up with her. Well, I did get the labs, but found out that they should have been fasting, and I had eaten. So, how reliable are these results going to be? I can only wonder if the office staff had talked to Dr. G. about the labs when I originally inquired about them, perhaps she would have reordered them AND I would have received appropriate guidance about fasting-I am a maternity nurse-it did not occur to me until later that they were supposed to be fasting labs. Anyway, it was a waste of my time and money in the long run. Now, I am hesitant to follow up with Dr. G. not because of the pandemic, but because of how this whole situation went down AND the labs are worthless. It was a typical medical experience that I heard so many of my patients complain about in the past, unfortunately! Not sure how this will play out, ultimately. I may have to find a new provider and not sure the insurance company will allow me to redo the botched lab work :(

I get great care, he has helped educate me on issues that my former doctor never even took the time to test me for and I feel like I am living the healthiest lifestyle I have lived in my nearly 55 years on year. I would highly recommend this practice. PS - A huge PLUS - they scheduled appropriate amounts of time for each appointment. I have never had to wait in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes before going back to see the doc. I LOVE that they have respect for my time and that when I arrive on time for my appointment I know I will be seen in a very timely manner.

I've been going to see Dr. Kolp since I was 2 or 3. So, this man has been around for everything…read morethat has ever happened to me except birth. And, through the years I've come to trust Dr. Kolp. I've come to think of Dr. Kolp like a part of the family. Unfortunately, the majority of of the people who work in his office are incompetent presumptuous people who don't know what they're doing. The wait time in this office is worse than airports. If you're scheduled for an appointment at noon, you're lucky you get out of the office by 3. And, you don't get to actually be seen by the doctor till about 2:45. It's ridiculous. I've been taking the same medicine for a couple years now (Which is longer than a lot of people I have problems with in his office have worked there). And, multiple times they've argued with me about the medicine I'm taking. I called today for a refill on my prescription...which is supposed to be refilled today. I called today at 9 am when the office opened. I just called the pharmacy at 5 to see if my prescription was ready and it was never called in. I call the doctor and have an argument with a girl who answered the phone where..she pretty much called me a drug addict and told me my prescription refill was denied because it was too soon. I explained to her that she was wrong, and she got really nasty with me on the phone and told me she'd have the doctor call me. Yet...she didn't take a phone number like they are supposed to, so I'm guessing I'll not hear from the doctor and I'll have to deal with not having my prescription. The prescription I take for arthritis and my body starts to seize up without. Dr. Kolp, I love you. You're the best doctor I've ever had the privellidge of knowing. But, you've got to do something about your staff....because they're starting to make me want to find a new doctor after over 25 years.

I always feel like he doesn't have any other patients to worry about when I'm there. However, that thoroughness leads to a lot of time spent waiting. My appointments are never quick ones. If they could cut down on the waiting time by a lot, I would without a doubt give this practice 5 stars. Dr. Kolp has been worth the wait to me, but...it can be frustrating.
