I was in the middle of moving offices and needed to have the walls repainted. I've dealt with countless painters before and typically like to do my own painting. However, I new this simply was a job that called for a professional. I called a few places and no one got back to me quick enough. I was crunched for time and needed someone to answer the phone, tell me the process, and then execute. This was Marcel painting. I called up in the afternoon, the next day they had a representative out for the quote. Here's where they earned my business.. this representative was GREAT. Not a sales person which I don't care to much for. He knew what I needed and he knew what he had to do and he delivered. Now the one thing we all think of.. the price. I had a number in mind and I thought it was fair. I knew it would be gauging if the quote was high. He was actually below what I thought it could go for! Along with the price comes the quality. The quality was great. Hands down it was a job well done. Didn't have to babysit anything and nothing bad happened.. usually something bad happens unfortunately. This time it simply went smooth. Kelly and I spent a bit of time trying to get our job scheduled but in the end it was worth it. I think that reading the reviews, I see why Kelly is short-staffed and has to do a lot of work himself. The only downside to the whole experience was trying to get specifics straightened out on the job but he must be doing something right to be that busy. So our job was to do electrostatic painting of a LARGE iron entry door, inside and out, and a small decorative gate on our front courtyard. The door was a rust color that was faded at the bottom and despite being a beautiful door just really detracted from the from entry. The after image is entirely different. Kelly matched a Dunn Edwards bronze color and it looks like a brand new door and the gate is so impressive that people touch it gingerly thinking it is still wet. Kudos to Carlos who did the work and his assistant (did not get his name). Great job and electrostatic is so nice since there is only about 3% overspray. Great job Kelly! We had the interior of our house painted and it turned out great. The two painters were very good at protecting the floor with plastic. Removing and replacing wall plates. Masking things like fans and lights. Very neat and tidy. Had the popcorn ceiling in the garage removed and had the garage interior painted as well. From dingy dirty garage to bright clean work space and car sanctuary. Price was fair and reasonable... really felt like I got my money's worth. I just had my backyard fence stuccoed and plan to contact Marecel's when it's time to paint it. My experience leads me to highly recommend. PS: I think it helped quite a bit that my wife and I moved all the furniture into the center of the rooms, emptied the garage and just made the work space suited for painting. I was paying for painting services, not furniture moving. Again... very pleased with the final product. read more

I chose Marcel from several that I had bid on exterior painting for my two story house in Gilbert. The price was competitive and the work ended up being great! I opted for two colors with the architectural features and trim painted one color and the body painted another. The estimator spent time with me and explained their process which is similar to most companies. The exterior is pressure washed and minor repairs were made to trim. The paint used is Dunn Edwards EverShield. The crew consisted of two men who were able to paint my house in two days. I'm very happy with the product. Excellent coverage and straight sharp seem lines between paint colors. The clean up was done well also. I've already been able to recommend them to three neighbors and will continue to do so. read more

Very satisfied from beginning to end. Kelly's estimate for the job was the lowest of the three we got, but more importantly he seemed like the friendliest and most trustworthy. We got on the calendar but had to reschedule once, it was no problem. The job was 2-color exterior painting for a 4-bedroom house. The two painters (Mario and Ray) were friendly, efficient, and totally professional. They were able to finish the job in two days. The first day was all prep, the house was washed and scraped, there was some drywall work needed, and windows were masked. Second day was all painting. The crew arrived on time. After a thorough review of color choices the crew set to work cleaning, caulking, prepping the surfaces. My house has 4 colors. They had every color organized and applied in sequence. A dedicated detail crew member checked the entire project. Items around the area they removed to paint the house they put back in its original spot. Highly professional crew. The results are amazing. The summer heat had taken quite a toll on the house paint. Samuel and his team did a really great job! The house looks fantastic, everything was neatly done, and I'm amazed at how they got behind my huge shed that we couldn't move. Also, my fascia that was awful and chipping and peeling looks so much better after the elastomeric smoother that they applied. I know they spent a lot of time scraping and sanding. Marcel Painting was great to work with especially during the COVID19 pandemic. We had another project happening at our home and had to push the painting out last minute due to the other project being delayed as a result of getting supplies. They painted on a Friday & Saturday to get the job done. There was a slight miscommunication and they returned to correct the job on Tuesday. It was a relatively hard job, electrostatic painting inside of the building. There was a few issues in these project, but the owner addressed them very quickly and professionally. By timeline of construction folks it was done on time, just a day or so behind originally estimated completion date (it was relatively long job due to tons of small details). If not these issues I'd give 5 stars, but in general very positive experience. read more

Very positive experience with Marcel Painting. They painted the exterior of a house with a number of repairs needed. Repairs included replacing some rotted wood, a lot of scraping of all the rest of the wood trim, patching a big rectangular hole around back left by a plumber when he fixed some pipes, and more scraping.
