We just moved near here and figured we would try it since it's so close. OMG so amazing. The staff is so friendly. We got 6 doughnuts, all different kinds and they were all so tasty. Very thick and the best I've ever tasted. We will definitely be back! (My photo does not do them justice!, but they still look good haha)

I heard about Marcella's from a fellow Yelper who raved about it, and it absolutely lives up to the hype! Everything I've tried here has been delicious and fresh, but you've got to get there early on weekend mornings if you want a shot at the really, really good stuff. Of what I've tried, here's a ranking: - Cronut. Iconic, flakey, mile-high perfection topped with a cloud of cream cheese frosting. Delightful. If they have them, get some. - Pumpkin spice Cronut. A very close second that maintains the charm of the original but with a whipped frosting, spiced glaze, and pumpkin layered right into the pastry. An extremely good seasonal donut that's worth getting up early for. - Cinnamon roll. It's not too sweet, light and airy yet ginormous, with a bold cinnamon swirl. Good stuff. - Custard long john. I'm a sucker for filled yeast donuts and these are pretty good. I haven't tried the cream version but I suspect it may rank even higher. - Sprinkle yeast donut. A solid bet, with the fluffy texture of the cinnamon roll but the fun of sprinkles. - Reese's chocolate cake donut. A great option if you like cake donuts, chocolate and peanut butter. Generously topped! - Blueberry cake donut. Strong blueberry flavor and a good coat of glaze. Maybe my least favorite of what I've tried, but not bad by any means!

Wooooow these donuts are truly delicious I walked in and the staff was incredibly helpful and niCe!! Definitely will be coming back!! The plain glazed is amazing but the cronuts are too!! They're also doing heart shaped donuts for Valentine's Day!!!

Hmmmm~ sweet deliciousness! Cronuts are perfection in a donut! We picked up a dozen of various donuts- boston cream, jelly, iced, and more! The cronuts were the big hit- I would get a dozen of just these next time! But they are smaller than the rest of the donuts. I admit to being a little disappointed with the amount of filling in the boston cream- tons of bread but only a little cream. All in all, the other donuts made up for it!

Service is the high point of Marcella's Doughnuts and Bakery. While we were there, 80% of patrons were greeted by name. The woman behind the counter asked children she seemed to know about various activities that happened earlier in their week. We were traeated with a similar amout of warmth. On each table was hand sanitizer and cleansing wipes. With how sticky doughnuts can get, that was very thoughtful touch. The doughnuts were too sweet for me. When I think of doughnuts sweet is what usually comes to mind. These took sweet to a whole new level. Many of the doughnuts that were available were frosted or iced AND topped with powdered sugar. Some of the doughnuts were a tad bit stale as well. Doughnuts were presented well, and looked very appealing.

This was definitely a treat to get to try out the Marcella's chain in Cincinnati. The cashier was very excited to talk about the donuts that were available and I had a look around to see the variety that they had, and they had quite a variety. I ended up getting a cream filled long john, a smores donut, and a buckeye cake donut. While the long john was delicious, it was very lacking in the cream department. The smores had the ingredients set up for a smores, but it was put on a vanilla glaze, which didn't make it worse mind you! Just a different variation of a smores donut. The buckeye donut was the best, having a good combination of chocolate and peanut butter. I would definitely want to try out more of the Marcella's variety and will hit this place up again in the future.

Definitely surprised just how good these donuts are. I had a sampler of the donuts for the first time today , and wow amazing stuff. The manager was extremely nice , and told us all about the donuts and the best time to come to get the best variety. I would highly recommend checking out Marcella's.

Sampler...sadly almost all hard and dry at 9:30am.

We tried a variety, and while the filling were good the donuts were dry. Very disappointed for the price.

This place doesn't disappoint - there is so much to choose from and the options rotate daily ! I personally love the blueberry fritters - They are huge and layers of blueberry yet they are only 3 bucks (that's so cheap). The strawberry cheese pastry was also delicious and flaky. The only thing I ordered that I wasn't a huge fan of was the pretzel - it was big and the price was right but it didn't taste better than a wawa pretzel twist. The donuts also come warm since the case seems to be a warming case which is a nice touch. The workers are so nice and they will explain every flavor to you if needed since there are no labels. The place is small and so is the parking lot.
