Cons: Chai latte had off putting, almost unpalatable flavor. Almond coupe needed more blackberry flavor, and was expensive for something that felt like it was purchased at a grocery store. If you want enjoy your drinks and/or pastries indoors, good luck. They leave the door wide open, because "it's better for the bread." Do they have a ventilation issue? I ordered the kouign - amann ($6), ube cruffin ($7.25), cardamom morning bun ($6), and sakura croissant ($7.50). All were delicious and my favorite was the sakura croissant. What I initially noticed with my first bite compared to filled croissants at other pastry shops is Sebastian's was filled throughout the entire croissant. So with your first bite you don't just get dough, you already taste the filling! If you want to dine in because you can't delay devouring your treats, there is a long narrow table top along the wall with bar stools to eat at. Note, there is no restroom in the restaurant, however you can use the one across the street in the community building. Also plenty of free street parking around the restaurant. Wow!! I have been wanting to go for a while. To check this out. Saturday at 9am, decent line, but a quick process. We decided to try a few things. Chocolate and Strawberry Cruffin, Dubai Croissant, churro bites, PB&J, raspberry cheesecake Croissant and a couple others that I can't remember the names. Topped it off with a cappuccino. Pricey ($55), but well wiorth it. They are open 8am-3pm W-Sun or until they sell out. It's a takeout place, so don't expect to sit down and eat it there. This place is way overpriced! $5.25 for one croissant? One Savory Classic is $5.25? (As of 4/13/2026 8:00 am). We just got back from Paris last Friday night (4/10/2026). I have been to 4 different Boulangeries in PARIS since 4/6-4/9 and they were all wonderful. There is one in every block, but we only purchased Croissants in 4 of them - not counting the ones at the train sataions. Sebasastians Croissant tasted slightly bland (tinge more butter needed?), and seemed a bit hard in the crusting. It was good, but not flakey when you pick it up and take a bite. If I hadn't tasted the ones in Munich & Paris, I would say they are the best that I have eaten. Other reviewers rate Sebastions as pricey - they are being nice. Sebastions is soooexpensive, I don't know how they can survive. Their food looks wonderful, with glaze & colors to dazzle your senses. My budget could only afford to go there once. Boosalias on Kenwood Road (across from the Kenwood Towne Square) is more than half the price, and you can afford to buy there almost every day. I absolutely adore French pastries. I've even flown to France twice for a long weekend just to indulge in kouign-amman, croissants, crêpes, and macarons! So when I found out about Sebastián Bakehouse, I knew I had to visit. I'm so glad I picked up a few pastries: the cardamom morning bun, sakura croissant, ube cruffin, and kouign-amann (my all time favorite). My husband especially loved the flaky croissant, filled generously and baked beautifully. The ube cruffin was also a lovely treat (a fan of ube since 2 years old). While the morning roll didn't quite live up to my expectations as it was a bit dry, it was still enjoyable. The kouign-amann, though, was a bit of a letdown as it wasn't as crispy as it should be. This the second Saturday that I've come here for their pop-up bakery goods. They were opening at 10AM, and I stood in line about 9:45. When I left the line was longer. The same friendly workers were there (same as last Sat.). The assortment of goods was wonderful! Today I bought a morning bun, a few butter croissants, olive oil/rosemary/sea salt sourdough foccacia, a mushroom quiche, and a hazelnut muffin. Mille feuille are my absolute favorite French pastries so when I found out they have them at Sebastian, I had to go. The first day we went, they did not have them but said they would on Friday so I ordered a pain au chocolat and it was divine. We returned on Friday, just after opening, and they said they would have them later. I ordered a mushroom pain Suisse and again, incredible. Later, I saw that mille-feuille were available on their website so I placed an online order and we picked them up later. I have only eaten a little of it so far but it was well worth the return trips and I have found a new pastry shop that I plan to frequent and I can't wait to try more items since it all looks delicious.
