I couldn't be happier with both the process and the results. The team was professional and friendly, responded quickly to messages, was up-front about pricing, and on time for all appointments. They cleaned ~3500sqft of tile in our house which apparently hadn't been cleaned or maintained for 10+ years. The patched the chips in the tile, cleaned and polished all the surfaces, and generally got it looking as good as new. They did a wonderful job cleaning the tiles and grout. Also, they were able to seal a microscopic crack in the tiles, caused by the foundation settling. Now it is no longer visible. The other alternative was to have the tiles removed and replaced, which would have been twice as expensive. I called Jordan to inquire about having a Corian sink cleaned and polished as after 20+ years of use it had gotten quite a bit of staining. I had tried many different cleaners and brushes but nothing ever completely worked. Jordan was kind enough to recommend a method that he thought might work, and sure enough with some elbow grease on my part it actually did. For the first time in years the sink was white again. Jordan followed up with some more suggestions on scrubbers to really finish the job and was just all around extremely helpful and professional. And this level of service was for a non-paying customer. Hey yelplers, Ever been marble shamed? Well I was, read the story below. Just want to do (a late shout out) to Jordan at natural stone and tile care. This guy went above and beyond and didn't pass judgement on me and my colleagues crappy marble fab skills. This story starts last year, probably August / Sept. I decided to start a podcast at my families business and began to undertake the fab job along with my employee.. Long story short, I score a beautiful piece of marble on a deep discount and decide to do the marble fabrication myself (probably not recommended). We get the cuts done but I'm left with something a bit less than professional. And I quickly realize that I'm gonna need to hire a guy to finish the fabrication job who's a professional. Contact a dozen stone dudes, no call backs. Then I finally get one who reaches back out and I send him pics. That guy is like... nah that's too jacked, blade marks, not gonna touch it. Then behold my luck, I get a hold of Jordan from natural stone and tile care. I tell him my crazy plan of doing the fab myself and he shoots me back a quote and comes out a few days later. He works on the stone for about 8 hours, does an amazing freaking job and didn't even talk smack out my crappy fab skills lol. Jordan and Justin were very professional.They were careful to protect my hardwood floors, explained their process and answered all my questions. The grout on my marble tile shower walls had developed an orangish mold and my dark ceramic tile shower floor had developed white water marks. I had tried a variety of different products to take care of the issues but without any success and finally gave up and called in the professionals. I'm so glad I did. They cleaned the mold and restored the grout to white with a matching epoxy that will be easier for me to keep clean. They removed the water marks and my dark tile is dark again. They also removed loose and cracked grout around my bathtub and in my kitchen and a second shower replacing it with matching caulk. We are very happy with the results. Highly recommend. read more

I have used Natural Stone and Tile Care 5 different times since 2011. They have cleaned, polished, and sealed my stone floors (marble in 2 bathrooms, limestone in the kitchen, entry and powder room) and perfectly restored my marble bathroom counter twice after I spilled a harsh chemical on it that removed the shine. This time they were able to offer a new product that is guaranteed to withstand any chemical spill without removing the shine and is guaranteed for 10 years. I grabbed that offer! Once I dropped an unopened bottle of red wine on my kitchen floow and they came that same day and restored it perfectly! Several times they have noticed small defects (grout missing around the kitchen sink, granite counter in kitchen looking dull) and repaired these while they were here. I am a recent homeowner in Davis. The marble floor tile in our entrance hall had numerous dark eye-drawing settlement cracks and despite calling around to contractors and floor guys, I couldn't find anyone who said they knew how to fix them (shy of redoing the floor which would have been extremely costly to say the least). I had nearly given up when a chance conversation with a granite countertop company led me to Jordan at Marchbanks Natural Stone. Jordan came right out to our home, said he could polish out the dirt and fill the cracks with colored resin, then repolish them to smooth out the filler. He gave me a fair estimate and I hired him. You never know what you're going to get with this sort of service, but Jordan and his crew were amazing! They came early in the morning and stayed all day until the job was perfect. When I asked Jordon to redo some of the coloring in one crack that was still visible, he was happy to oblige and played with the color mix until the crack all but disappeared. It is clear his team really cares about their work. I learned from his workers that Jordan is the second generation in his family doing this specialty work. His team was able to make the largest of the cracks in my floor all but disappear and significantly reduce the visibility of the other hairline cracks (which were difficult to fill because they were so narrow). The polishing brought out a beautiful shine to the tile and my entrance hall looks terrific. He and his team even filled a couple of cracks in our bathroom tile and hid some marks on our kitchen floor at no additional charge. Five stars. Jordan and his crew did an amazing job of getting our brand new (but marred) countertops clean. Unfortunately the counters were installed with an unknown shiny residue in a waffle pattern on them that was impossible for us to get rid of on our own. Jordan was our last resort as neither the installer nor retailer would do anything to help us remedy the problem. He and his crew brain-stormed solutions, kept at it and ultimately removed the residue without damaging the counters. They were professional, on-time, affordable and successful! I also called Jordan at a later date to get his advice on treating a stain on quartzite on behalf of my out-of-state parents. Not only did he remember me from six months earlier but stopped what he was doing to send information on how to treat it. Class-act human being and company! I hired Marchbanks to restore very badly etched marble kitchen countertops and a marble bathroom floor. Both were so badly etched that at best I expected some the etchings to be lightened. I had no idea they would be able to restore the countertops and floor to original condition, but that's exactly what they did. They look exactly like the day were installed. I had used vinegar on my natural stone, as I saw online that's how you clean it, big mistake. After calling multiple tile cleaning companies and "stone pros" finally I got referred to natural stone and tile care. Everyone else told me the etching was not fixable until I called natural stone and tile care, they came out and gave me a free estimate, they are very knowledgeable and acted as if it was no problem. When they came to do the work they masked everything off as to not damage my fixtures and took care of the problem with ease. My shower looks like new again and they told me how to maintain it so I can keep it looking new. Their employees were very nice and respectful. I was trying to clean my marble bathroom vanity and saw on the internet how vinegar removes water stains from stone. Vinegar, apparently, also etches stone! My old cooktop died and I needed the hole in my counter cut larger to fit a new one. Jordan stopped by and gave me a free quote on what it would cost, but recommended a granite fabricator he knew that could handle the cuts better. I agreed and Jordan helped me out organizing and getting the fabricator to me quickly as I was in a time crunch, acting like a general contractor for me, free of charge. If it was available, I would give 2.5 stars. Initially, I was happy with the work done to my shower floor. However, customer service is everything and it was damaged after a little saline solution got on it. I called, texted and emailed the owner. He said he would come take a look at it and he never did. When he finally responded, he said it looked fine to him and I never heard back from him. Not cool:-(. Marchbanks just completed regrinding a badly chipped granite island and countertop, sealing and cleaning the surfaces as well as sealing our tile backsplash.
