I'm not sure if "Jessica" was having a bad day today, but she chose not to engage with a customer, and told me she didn't care that I'd be following up with corporate. Had a pizza craving tonight and Marcos was up in our rotation! We created an XL pizza with grilled chicken, mushrooms, onions, green pepper, banana pepper, and jalapeños with Romesan crust. Similar to last time, the pizza was light on sauce and we'd recommend adding extra if you are a sauce lover. We also ordered breadsticks and they were excellent dipped in marinara sauce. Finally we got some boneless chicken dippers and I enjoyed dipping them in their jalapeño ranch sauce. All together it was about $48 out the door tonight and we have plenty of leftovers. read more

I've never had a problem here and the food is great, but today I tried paying and I noticed the dude at the front tried to be slick and didn't let me put the tip in. He tried to skip through it so I didn't notice. I would've tipped but since he tried to be slick thinking I wouldn't notice I didn't leave shit and I won't in the future thanks to Phatt ass. Order was fast and convenient but one of my pizzas was forgotten. But the woman there made it right.

We ordered pizza for delivery and a half hour after it was supposed to be delivered we went to the store and picked it up. After getting the pizza home it wasn't even correct. We called the store the only thing they were willing to do is give me a credit on my next order. That credit was for one topping. When paying $60.00 for pizza I expect that we can get at least warm pizza that is what we ordered. Also that it could actually be delivered and on time when you pay a delivery fee and give a tip. read more

We had a large catering order for an event at our church. Everything in the order was correct and tasted like it was fresh out of the oven. It was delivered on time by a very friendly delivery guy who helped set things up for us and even came back to bring us sauces that we didn't know were missing! I'm visiting in Michigan. Ordered two pizzas. It took awhile to order because their online menu is extensive. There are so many options for crust and crust toppings, all in addition to regular pizza toppings. We received our pizzas exactly as ordered in a little less than twenty minutes. (Yes, we must've been pretty close.) Delivery guy was friendly. The food was fantastic! The crust was slightly crunchy but easy to bite through. Real cheese melted so perfectly with just a teeny smidge of browning. The flavors were exquisite. As a pizza connoisseur, (a weekly choice for 30+ years) I am shook. Was asked to hold. Waited 10 minutes on hold and someone picked ip and hung up on me. Marcos changed owners and has gotten more expensive and worse customer service. The last time, they had a deal on the voice that plays before it rings to the store and the store wouldn't honor the deal and said the corporate office won't let them override to offer the deal that their own phone system advertised. Can't speak as to the quality of their products. As to I placed an order online and got an estimate delivery time of 10:37. Around 10:40 I made a call to them to enquire about my delivery and was told that the driver was expected to be back in to pick up my pizza in 5 mins. I waited until 11:00 and called again and was told that everyone in the shop had to give police statements. I asked what did that have to do with me and my delivery. The guy began checking the system and said that he did not see my order. after some more checking I was told that they did not know what happen to or where my pizza was as to it should have been delivered some time back. My Wife cannot consume Gluten (Wheat) so I stopped in to order a GF pizza for our lunch. The young lady who took my order (Amber) was very personable and interacted with me as if we'd known each other for some time. I also noticed a bulletin board with postcard reviews of the staff with the poster's comments and she had numerous reviews pinned there that commended different employees for their positive attitudes and hard work. Amber demonstrated the traits that many of the people who interact with the public are lacking: A pleasant smile, eye contact, genuine interest in what the customer is saying and...............a fantastic personality. We were impressed! We moved into the area just recently & recieved a free one topping pizza! We added more toppings of course. We really expected something similar to little ceases but by far this is one of the best pizza experiences we have had recently! We get a discount for living in the apartments just down the road. They gave us this punch card when you buy so many pizzas & get the stamp card filled the next one is free!! Oh, also they have free cheese bread if you complete the survey. I honestly have to give it up to their marketing team! Genius! They said 15 mins & it was ready when I walked in. The store was clean, air conditioned, the staff was friendly. I don't really see what people complain about. Im not sure if maybe new management has recently taken over or they have improved. A few nights ago was our second try & it was just as good as the first time. The handmade fresh dough was great! The 2nd time it seemed a tiny bit underdone. Next time I will tell them to push it back once more. If you know pizza well enough you can tell if & when a pizza is rushed or if the oven is too hot & approximately how long they cooked it for. Marcos does a decent job at cooking the pizza pretty thoroughly maybe I just prefer my pizza little bit on the done side. The only negative note I can think of is the pizza seemed a little bit overly greasy compared to a local pizza shop near my parents house. Im not quite sure but i think different types of cheese?? An hour later I called - oh we just put it in so it will be really hot and fresh when you get it. Um, it's 9:15 pm, when do you think I might see pizza? As soon as the driver gets back. There is a lot of pizza in East Lansing, add Marco's to your A list for delivery. Open everyday and late hours (a big plus). The price is not over the top and a healthy variety of choices for your favorite late night craving. The first time we ordered was good, my wife loves Marco's and I am on the fence. Second time was not smooth. The order was lost and the employee at the register was not comfortable or confident on how to resolve the issue. I left without the pizza and did not plan on coming back. The manager (Andrew) contacted us and apologized and made it right. To each their own when it comes to judging pizza. I am not a huge fan of the taste but I would give the managers a thumbs up for insuring customer service is a top priority. read more

The pizza is decent. I wouldn't say the best I've ever had, but it was pretty darn good. Certainly better than Pizza Hut or any chain place. I was a little disappointed with their customer service though. We purchased $10 gift certificates from Half Off Mid-Michigan and they would not allow us to use this with any of their sale prices. The thing is, you already have to buy $20 worth of pizza to use the coupons. Too many stipulations if you ask me. It's really hard for a family of 3 to spend $20 on pizza as it is. Would have been nice to be able to do one of the combo deals. Other than that we were satisfied with them, the pizza was delicious. Average to good pizza. Nice and convenient place to go after excessive swimming at the Aquatic Center with my energetic son. He was happy with his pizza. We took several home and the plain cheese didn't reheat as well as some other places like Leo's pizza. Marco's is the best pizza in East Lansing. This is the only place I get pizza from anymore, because it's consistently good. Their ingredients are really fresh, the red sauce has the perfect amount of spice, and their sides are also delicious. The cinna-bread is particularly good if you like pizza dough smothered in butter and cinnamon sugar then drizzled with frosting. The only downside in my book is that their delivery fee is high - $3.00. But I usually pick it up anyhow. read more

My roommate and I LOVE Marcos. Our apartment complex is right down the road, so it's super convenient to order and then pick it up 20 minutes later. And even when we do order delivery, it's always either early or right on time. Pizza is delicious, cheesy bread is good, and their jalapeño ranch is awesome if you're looking for a different dipping sauce. The staff is also always super friendly if we go in there for a pick-up and the prices are perfect for us broke college students. I called in an order for delivery. They asked me for my address and I told it to them. They said it would be ready in about 50 minutes, which was already an unnecessarily long amount of time. After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes with not even a call from Marco's, I called them, and they said they marked it as carry out, so I never got it. After that I had to wait another 30 minutes for my pizza to show up. They did not offer a discount, free breadsticks, or even a free dipping sauce. They simply said, "we're sorry." We got the pizza finally and it was a below average tasting pizza. I would recommend almost any other pizza place in East Lansing over Marco's at this point. Their poor customer service and disorganization combined with a subpar pizza makes Marco's my last choice for pizza in the Greater Lansing area. read more

Deep Dish = Delicious Everything Else = Not so much This is another restaurant that says they emphasize authentic italian flavor. But in my experience the pizza lacks any flavor at all, let alone italian flavor. The deep dish does make one good exception though. The only caveat to that is you have to ask them to coat the crust in garlic flavoring to make it better. With this addition though the pizza becomes very good. read more

Marco's USED to be my favorite pizza place... ordered constantly. But then they started to get sloppy & messed up our orders... They messed up so badly once on a delivery, we called just as an 'FYI' and let us know they'd give us a freebie the next time we ordered- Bonus! Well, when we tried to redeem, the person who took our order attempted to place it correctly but still messed up. We were picking up that time so we could make sure it was right. Well, when we got there the order was COMPLETELY wrong... and the manager on duty was quite possibly the rudest man I've ever encountered in the food service industry. He insulted my mother by saying "I'm sorry it's too hard for you to understand" as we were walking out without our pizza after he broke down the costs because we were NOT credited a free pizza... just a $$ amount off for a wrong topping. Which we would have taken had it not cost us MORE to get a free pizza than to actually pay for it. Anyway, I am disgusted anyone would say that to a customer... we really love the pizza and haven't had any issues until recently, but Marco's has lost a loyal customer because of how poorly we were treated when we went in to pick up our pizza, and repeatedly getting our orders wrong.
