    Burnt cheese sticks.
    Justin R.

We ordered our pizzas online 45 minutes prior to us picking it up. We showed up and was told the pizza was not ready and would be done in five minutes. I walked back in after 5 minutes and was told the pizzas were done. The gentleman walked in the back and came back to inform me they had to remake a pizza. It would be another 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, we got our pizzas. However, the cheese pizza had many bubbles, and the cheese sticks were burnt on the bottom. On top of all of this, I never received an email to write a review for the store.

large sausage & mushroom pizza from Marco's Pizza in Madison, AL.
    Tom D.

Ordered a large sausage & mushroom on the way home from work last night. The person at the counter told me it would 15 minutes, I came back w/i that time frame and my pizza was ready. Pizza was decent tasting, not awesome, but good. I would come back again some time Marco's Pizza is not up to the standards of pizza found in the Northeast, but for this area, the pizza deserves a 4 Star rating.

This don't deserve 5 stars! I'll give then 5 more! That's right a 10 I've had a lot of pizza here in Huntsville and in DC and NY! And this pizza is darn good! Awesome! When I opened this box it was like looking at my wife naked! This is straight food porn and it can be very addictive! I love their pizza! I have heard the Madison people say it was the best through word of mouth! And boy, where they telling the truth! This is my number 1 pizza right now! For the price, quality, service, it's a tuff contender in the number 1 spot if pizzas! You have to try this!

3 topping large pizza, after I ate a few pieces!

This is our go to deliver pizza. This one and the one on county line are both great. Always hot and fresh, simple pizza, delivered quickly.

We'd never heard of it and having recently returned from the gulf I was feeling rather smug about seafood. What could this Chuck know about it all? Feeling adventurous, we decided to walk over and check it out after eating an entire pizza. Pizza was pretty good. Chuck's Fish was epic. I love that there's no TV at the bar. I love the decor. I love the fact that the namesake was a civil rights attorney. I love the fact that I can get incredible sashimi and order our daughter a pizza that is just as good as the joint across the street. Chuck I apologize. I promised the bar staff I'd Yelp you up after the first visit but once bitten twice shy so I gave it another go. I'm at your bar now. Trudy is helping me out. She's a pro. So was the team here on Saturday. That's why I'm back in fact. The people. Also. The food. Can go on about the food. But. Y'all. Just come and experience it. This social media stuff is only good for so much. A nudge. A hint. An inkling. Hamachi ponzu with fresh jalapeño. Yes. Get that. Goyza with one perfectly crisped side? Yeah. Two of those. Catch of the day? Either way is gonna be good. Tks Charles!!!! You got two new regulars. Hopefully many many more.

We had to try the snapper throats and the kimchi Brussels. Both were excellent. She opted for the red snapper with artichoke hearts, and I had the chorizo and shrimp rigatoni. We could've fed both of us on either entrée but brought food home instead. The menu is quite large, so I see this becoming a common date night destination. I wouldn't normally include this in a restaurant review, but the restrooms are remarkably small given the size of the venue. Given the popularity, I recommend reservations. We made them and were seated upon arrival.

There's ample parking and the interior looks nice enough; kind of a fun Italian mafia theme with lots of comfortable booths and an attractive bar with a good TV. Both the restaurant and the women's restroom were very clean. We entered right after opening but were made to feel quite welcome by the waitstaff. Our waitress brought our menus, including a lunch menu! I love a lunch menu. My mom and I both ordered the lunch portion of the spaghetti carbonara. She enjoyed her sweet tea and I had a diet soda. The entrees come with a piece of garlic bread. I thought the portion size and price were both perfect for a lunch serving. The garlic toast was crispy and buttery. We enjoyed our spaghetti carbonara. It's not made with eggs and cheese in the traditional way, but instead uses Alfredo sauce, which is a little disappointing to me. I remain on the hunt for that kind of carbonara in Huntsville. Still, it was a good Alfredo sauce, the pasta was cooked well, and there were ample little bacon bits. Pleasant visit, nice place for lunch -- give them a try for some solid American-Italian food if you're in the area!

When we got into the parking lot, we thought they were closed - not a car in sight. But I saw a tiny open sign and insisted that between that, and the hours on their website, they must be open. My friend and I insisted differently. She went in and, guess what? They really were open! When we walked in and saw a sign for happy hour. Bonus! We were set. We each bought a draft for a dollar off and purchased a few of the $5 apps. The garlic knots are noted in several reviews so that was a no brainer. We also ordered the beer cheese with pretzels and our friends ordered the spinach dip with tortilla chips. I can't tell you how many beers there were, let's just say plenty. The beer was icy cold, perfect for another 95 degree day. Yelp didn't disappoint, the garlic knots were soft, pull apart deliciousness. The accompanying pizza sauce was just ok. The beer cheese as good. The accompanying pile of soft pretzel bites would have been better without so much salt. I didn't try the spinach dip. Nobody else seemed very thrilled with it. It came with tortilla chips - I don't know what kind they were but even they didn't look good. Beer Hog is designed for fun. Pool tables, dart boards, a small arcade, indoor corn hole and an array of daily activities including Harry Potter trivia night, line dancing night and live music on the weekend. There was quite a bit of patio area which will be great once our inferno weather pattern breaks. There are a couple rooms available to rent for various size events. We spoke with one of the 3 owners. The three of them designed and built out the entire interior. The owner we spoke with told us how they built the bar and every table in the building. They did a great job identifying and executing the unusual repurposing of the old library. Now that school is restarting, patrons need to mindful of afternoon traffic. If you don't know Hughes Road, just know it's a zoo when all of the schools let out. We'll definitely be back. The garlic knots alone are enough to guarantee that.

We were there for a late lunch, so we basically had the run of the place. Our server was very sweet, non-intrusive, and--though she did forget about a caesar salad until reminded after entrees were served--overall did a great job. Drinks were refilled promptly, etc. The food? Eh, it was fine. The garlic styx (why do they spell it this way, ARGH) were pizza dough, not actually "bread," and holy CRAP was there a lot of garlic on them. I mean entire cloves coating it. I don't mind garlic so I wasn't mad, but it was a bit much. The side of marinara was adequate in both taste and volume, but tasted jarred. I got the 10-layer eggplant. Now, I love eggplant parm and I see where they were going with this, but it was just SO cheesy. I love cheese and marinara and eggplant and all that jazz, but this singular dish probably contained 2 lbs (no joke) of cheese condensed into a 5"x5" square. I know there was eggplant in there (finely sliced, like on a mandolin thin). I know there was sauce in there (there was some swirled around the dish). However, all I could taste was...cheese. This is the first, and likely will be the last, time I ever complain about too much cheese. Practical notes: I didn't see any super dinginess like other reviews state, but I also didn't go to the bathroom. Your mileage may vary. Parking is a niiiiiiiightmaaaaaaare even when the restaurant isn't busy. Make sure your parallel parking skills are up to date or try and squeeze into one of the lots. Portions are large, so order accordingly. If you order something with cheese and are even remotely sensitive to dairy, bring your Lactaid and triple the dose. NOTE: this is not actual medical advice.

We stopped by Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza on a whim. We were headed to check out Indian food. Walking inside we could see a room with people drinking beer. It turned out pizza is to the left and a brewery is going straight. We went inside the pizza restaurant to place an order. We ordered The Patriarch which is like a supreme pizza and the Italian salad. We were given a pager and told when it went off we could pick up our foods at the pick up counter. The Patriarch was a thin crust pizza similar to a supreme. The toppings were good but sparse. I would have preferred more meats and red sauce. The crust wasn't as crunchy as I like. I cut the pizza with a knife and fork. I didn't get the wood taste like I did on the other pizza I ate that was wood fired. 3/5 The Italian salad was made of fresh greens and included basil and some shaved Parmesan. The Italian dressing was bottled I believe but good. 4/5 This pizza restaurant is convenient by a brewery. If you indulge too much on the brews, you can get a bite to eat without leaving the building. If you are near Campus 805, aka former Stone Middle School, this restaurant is in the backside. The pizza underwhelmed me on this visit. I will return to try something else. 3/5
