    Thin pepperoni

We frequent this Donatos often for carry out, and the occasional dine in. Inside is always clean and pizza is always hot and fresh. Exceptional customer service e this most recent time. Kid got stuck in traffic so we started eating without her. By the time she got here it was cold. They were super sweet to reheat it for her so it was warm when she arrived. Sweet tea is sweet, not mid.

    Very flat, lackluster calzone.

Pros: I ordered a calzone online, then called to request extra sauce. Both of these actions went well, as did the delivery. In fact, the delivery was 20 minutes earlier than estimated, and the delivery gentleman was friendly and professional. Cons: The delivery was to a hotel, and no flatware or napkins were included. The calzone was ok. The crust wasn't like the normal fresh pizza dough I'd expect. It didn't rise. There was plenty of pepperoni inside, but very little mozzarella cheese. No ricotta that I could see. And they put sauce inside, which was odd to me. It wasn't amazing, but it was edible. They could stand to improve this recipe. .

    10" Small Chicken Bruschetta Pizza.

I had to repeat my order twice and yet they still didn't make my pizza right. On top of it, I ordered a small and it was $15. And they didn't tell us the price had changed until we noticed it after we paid wondering why we were charged so much. The pizza was the worst pizza I've had in my life next to Totino's. I asked for half cheese and half chicken bruschetta. All they did was take off the top sauce on the other half with all the toppings. And $5 for 2 drinks. That's expensive. With a good attitude, we returned our pizza and they refunded our entire order with a good attitude and even apologized. I was more than OK with paying for what we ate. However, they went above and beyond to refund our order. For that, I am giving them five stars for respect. This place may not be for me but others may still like it. Everyone likes different things.

Large Thin Pepperoni Sausage & Onion Pizza with a side Italian salad! YUMMMMM

Lunch May 5 Yeah yeah I am a pizza snob and I am extremely biased toward thin crispy crust - toppings to the edge - square cut pizza. SO seeing there was a Donatos Pizza only a few miles off my I-65 journey south, I thought - YES, call it in and go eat some Ohio Style Pizza! This pizza was the exact Donatos from Columbus OH that I know and love. So refreshing to get some pizza like this outside of Ohio. I only hope that those in the Huntsville area are giving this pizza a try as t is going to be different that your normal New York Style pizza you are used to! The Italian Salad complimented my PSO Pizza (that's Pepperoni, Sausage & Onion - for those that don't know) Emma at the front desk was awesome! Keep smiling and being kind, young lady - it will take you far in life!

See? Even their website thinks the default cut for "Hand Tossed" should be pie cut.

Very poorly managed and extremely overpriced. With better management/training/policies, they could justify their higher cost. Two basic pizzas will cost you over $30. But the inconsistency of the experience is frustrating. We always order our pizza pie-sliced. Otherwise, they cut it into tiny squares (which might be fine for sharing with a little league team, but really awkward for adults.) It is RARELY cut correctly, in spite of the order taker assuring us that they understood - PIE sliced. When it comes out wrong, the staff never seems to care. They might offer to make you a new one (not always), but that means standing around for 40 minutes or so. (You'll be lowest priority if you go this route. And with the horseplay in the kitchen, you doubt they'll do it right the second time.) We always order "Hand Tossed", which, if you order from their website, apparently defaults to pie-sliced. Even going this route, and adding custom option for pie-sliced, they get it wrong. We make this mistake of giving them another chance every 6 months or so, hoping they've improved. They never do.

Ordered for delivery. Took about an hour and a half to show up. Pizza was good but not $27.00 good for a medium pizza.

Hands down the best pizza in town. Fresh ingredients, right amount of sauce and lots of cheese. You can't beat this place.

There's ample parking and the interior looks nice enough; kind of a fun Italian mafia theme with lots of comfortable booths and an attractive bar with a good TV. Both the restaurant and the women's restroom were very clean. We entered right after opening but were made to feel quite welcome by the waitstaff. Our waitress brought our menus, including a lunch menu! I love a lunch menu. My mom and I both ordered the lunch portion of the spaghetti carbonara. She enjoyed her sweet tea and I had a diet soda. The entrees come with a piece of garlic bread. I thought the portion size and price were both perfect for a lunch serving. The garlic toast was crispy and buttery. We enjoyed our spaghetti carbonara. It's not made with eggs and cheese in the traditional way, but instead uses Alfredo sauce, which is a little disappointing to me. I remain on the hunt for that kind of carbonara in Huntsville. Still, it was a good Alfredo sauce, the pasta was cooked well, and there were ample little bacon bits. Pleasant visit, nice place for lunch -- give them a try for some solid American-Italian food if you're in the area!

When we got into the parking lot, we thought they were closed - not a car in sight. But I saw a tiny open sign and insisted that between that, and the hours on their website, they must be open. My friend and I insisted differently. She went in and, guess what? They really were open! When we walked in and saw a sign for happy hour. Bonus! We were set. We each bought a draft for a dollar off and purchased a few of the $5 apps. The garlic knots are noted in several reviews so that was a no brainer. We also ordered the beer cheese with pretzels and our friends ordered the spinach dip with tortilla chips. I can't tell you how many beers there were, let's just say plenty. The beer was icy cold, perfect for another 95 degree day. Yelp didn't disappoint, the garlic knots were soft, pull apart deliciousness. The accompanying pizza sauce was just ok. The beer cheese as good. The accompanying pile of soft pretzel bites would have been better without so much salt. I didn't try the spinach dip. Nobody else seemed very thrilled with it. It came with tortilla chips - I don't know what kind they were but even they didn't look good. Beer Hog is designed for fun. Pool tables, dart boards, a small arcade, indoor corn hole and an array of daily activities including Harry Potter trivia night, line dancing night and live music on the weekend. There was quite a bit of patio area which will be great once our inferno weather pattern breaks. There are a couple rooms available to rent for various size events. We spoke with one of the 3 owners. The three of them designed and built out the entire interior. The owner we spoke with told us how they built the bar and every table in the building. They did a great job identifying and executing the unusual repurposing of the old library. Now that school is restarting, patrons need to mindful of afternoon traffic. If you don't know Hughes Road, just know it's a zoo when all of the schools let out. We'll definitely be back. The garlic knots alone are enough to guarantee that.

We were there for a late lunch, so we basically had the run of the place. Our server was very sweet, non-intrusive, and--though she did forget about a caesar salad until reminded after entrees were served--overall did a great job. Drinks were refilled promptly, etc. The food? Eh, it was fine. The garlic styx (why do they spell it this way, ARGH) were pizza dough, not actually "bread," and holy CRAP was there a lot of garlic on them. I mean entire cloves coating it. I don't mind garlic so I wasn't mad, but it was a bit much. The side of marinara was adequate in both taste and volume, but tasted jarred. I got the 10-layer eggplant. Now, I love eggplant parm and I see where they were going with this, but it was just SO cheesy. I love cheese and marinara and eggplant and all that jazz, but this singular dish probably contained 2 lbs (no joke) of cheese condensed into a 5"x5" square. I know there was eggplant in there (finely sliced, like on a mandolin thin). I know there was sauce in there (there was some swirled around the dish). However, all I could taste was...cheese. This is the first, and likely will be the last, time I ever complain about too much cheese. Practical notes: I didn't see any super dinginess like other reviews state, but I also didn't go to the bathroom. Your mileage may vary. Parking is a niiiiiiiightmaaaaaaare even when the restaurant isn't busy. Make sure your parallel parking skills are up to date or try and squeeze into one of the lots. Portions are large, so order accordingly. If you order something with cheese and are even remotely sensitive to dairy, bring your Lactaid and triple the dose. NOTE: this is not actual medical advice.
