I was really impressed with the quickness and quality of the pizza. Piping hot, oozing with cheese. I had to eat fast because pizza doesn't stay hot long. Service was on point! This place was a pleasant surprise. We have ordered from here 2x now. The pizza is actually decent. That's saying a lot coming from a staunch Northeasterner who's had the pleasures of Ny/Boston/NJ pizza. Their prices are decent too. But mainly, I appreciate their awesome service. I must admit I was really shocked when I tried this pizza and liked it. I am a pizza diva so if it's not prepared by Star pizza or Barry's Pizza I get snobbish. I am happy to say this pizza was delicious. The crust was light and airy and thankfully it was not greasy. The pepperoni has a great flavor and the toppings were fresh. I think best of all this is really affordable pizza. The quality was really good and I don't have to drive all the way to Houston to get pizza anymore. I really thought I'd written a review about this location before! I didn't, strange. Welp, let me put my pizza down then! I'm no pizza snob, I'll eat anything that is goood. And though I am skinny, I can throw them back and put them away... ok! I do not play with my appetite! So, come in Marcos Pizza, a friend told me to try it and I did. Ordered for 'Girls night in'. They were raving about the pizza. Where did I get it from?! Was it expensive?! How far is it?! I didn't want to give away my secrets but the box was literally 2 feet away (hindsight is 20/20 lol). Then this same friend, that wants to ruin my waist circumference, told me they had a buffet. So now I had to try that. This review is about the buffet: - Restaurant clean - Attendants nice - 3 fresh crispy pizza on the line. Half/half. Sausage/pepperoni/cheese/pineapple and ham and another cheese breadstick looking one. I asked the cashier, "uh can I order one" She met me with a "SURE!". And then all pizza hell broke loose. In a good way. I ordered my pepperoni, jalapeño, mushroom pizza (if you know me, that the only pizza I eat, when I have options lol). It came out 10 minutes later and I devoured it. In fact, a party of 4 older men were watching me, either with disgust or amazement, I was eating too fast to confirm. It was delicious. My stomach was full. That was a great pizza buffet experience, possibly the best I've had, not like there are good picks when it comes to pizza buffets. Will I be back? Um, I TRY not to eat out. So I cannot put it in writing that I will be back. What I will say is that it will be a strong temptation to resist in the future. I have been on the borderlands of Pearland for 5 years, always looking for new places, and better pies. I have yet to find anything local that beats Marco's. I'm a big fan of the Ma and Pop shops, but haven't yet found any that tickle my fancy. I'd have to drive into the H to level up. They don't deliver to my address, so I have to pick up every time. This is my second time trying Marco's pizza and I have to say, it's pretty good. The deciding factor for me today was the fact that they have a drive-thru window. When you've got a kid in their car seat and you don't want to deal with the hassle of getting them out just to strap them back in a couple of minutes later, a drive-thru option is a lifesaver. I ordered the meat supremo on a thin crust and it was delicious! It comes with extra cheese, pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage and bacon. It was the perfect combination of cheesy goodness and a crispy crust. Pick up is quick at only twelve minutes. I actually had just left the CVS next door and placed the order while I sat in the car waiting. It wasn't a long wait. Next time, I might venture out of my comfort zone and try a sub or add some cheesy bread or dessert to my order. That drive-thru option is a big pull for me. read more

I first tried Marcos when I was living in North Carolina years ago. They recently opened up two new locations in Pearland so I thought I'd give it a try for nostalgia's sake. The interior is really nice for a pizza joint. There are a good amount of tables including a lot of booths, it's clean, and the menus by the counter are digital (though prices aren't listed which was annoying). They also have a buffet during lunch every day of the week but the options were pretty limited compared to the selection you'd see at Cici's. I went with a large hand-tossed pizza with old-world pepperoni. I had no idea what this was so I asked the cashier. Unlike classic pepperoni which you'll find everywhere, this type of pepperoni is a bit smaller and curls up while it's being cooked. A picture definitely does it justice as it's tough to explain. You can see the difference between old-world pepperoni and classic pepperoni on the front page of their to-go menu. The pizza is average in my opinion. I liked the crust and the pepperoni but wasn't really impressed with the pizza sauce or the cheese. Service was good, the cashier complimented the rims on my ride :) read more

The people thought it a grand idea to not make any until folks come in and requested a certain type. What you are left with is a room full of starving people desperate to feed themselves and their children literally running to the buffet when one pizza is placed on it. This is probably one of my favorite pizza spots ever. I don't know what it is but I think it's their cheese that makes the pizza AWESOME. I have never liked pineapple on my pizza until I got it from here.....that's how good it is. They offer a buffet and it's not like the others, they even ask at the counter if you want any certain kind of pizza. They also have a drive thru which is very quick! I usually love Marcos pizza but this location is not my fav. I tried them one night because I was hungry and its not alot of late night choices in P land. I ordered on the phone and because they were about to close i got a discount. The pizza was ready in less then 10 mins and i got it and headed home. The pizza looked delicious and it was piping hot but the crust was a tad stale. The toppings were great but i dont think i will be back to this location. This Marcos Pizza is always awesome to me. They have great pizza's and I almost always get good customer service. I LOVE their White Cheezy Pizza, soooo good or their greek salad. I've tried to use other nearby pizza places and they're good but not as good as Marco's quick service or always delicious salads! They put more than enough black olives/banana peppers and feta cheese, mmm love it! Their pepperoni is really good too, the kids love it. I also like how they are always sending coupons in the mail. Ordered a pepperoni pizza today and everything was great, except it looked like my box was smashed on the top and some cheese was missing from the pizza since it was stuck to the top of the box. What a disappointment. Our friends raved about their pizza and salad bar, so we had previously popped in on a Sunday evening around 6:00 but found their salad bar was already up for the night. So tonight we decided to give them a try on pizza delivery. Everything about it was disappointing. We set up an account online and tried to order for delivery, but the website kept sending us back to a registration confirmation page every time we tried to order for delivery. We finally called and ordered over the phone. We were excited to see they had gluten-free crust, the only positive to our experience. I gave the woman on the phone our address, apartment number, and the name of our apartment complex so there was no confusion. After I hung up, I realized that the woman who took my order asked for neither my phone number nor our gate code to enter the apartment building. I called back and gave her instructions for which gate to use and the code to enter. She told us that it would be 30-60 minutes because of the weather, which we had expected. About 45 minutes later, my cell phone rang, so I guess they got my number from caller ID. The delivery guy said he needed the gate code and was at our gate. Before I gave him the code again, I asked if he was at the left gate to ensure he was on the correct side of the complex. While I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't mean to sound unfriendly, he came across a bit rude when he replied that he didn't know which gate he was at, he was just at a gate. When he said he didn't see a second gate, he followed up with an apartment complex name that wasn't ours. It took me a few tries to get him to understand that he was at the wrong apartment complex despite me specifically telling the woman on the phone which complex to look for. I gave him simple instructions for how to get to our complex from his location--literally next door and on the SAME STREET as the pizza store. He was so confused that he asked me to stay on the phone with him until he found it. After a minute of waiting for traffic to clear for him to leave the wrong complex, he let me go and called me back 30 seconds later when he was at the light to turn into our complex. Literally, all he needed to do was turn left at the light, see the lit up sign with our complex name on it, and turn into the complex, but I guess he was concerned about missing it. So he kept me on the phone until he turned into the complex. Thankfully, the gate was open so we didn't have to go through instructions again on getting into the gate. But he kept me on the phone asking for directions to our apartment until we saw him out our window. Altogether I spent 4-5 minutes on the phone with him trying to get him to our apartment, which is less than a mile down the street from the store and which should have been easy to find with my directions. When we typed in our address on Google Maps, it took us straight to our complex, so we're not sure what the driver was using to locate us, but it wasn't a good app. When he finally came to the door, he handed my SO a receipt that was already filled out with a $3.00 tip. She asked what that was about, and he explained that he had given the previous delivery the wrong receipt and they had filled it out before realizing it wasn't theirs. So we had to cross out the tip amount and fill it out over their information. He apologized and said he usually didn't deliver for this store, but it was a little ridiculous by that point. When we sat down to eat our pizza, it was room temperature, almost cool with the cheese. And the taste simply wasn't there. I couldn't even finish my second piece. Altogether, this was a disappointing experience, frustrating delivery and poor quality pizza. Not at all worth what we'd paid. I hope every order doesn't go this way, but I would have rather waited an extra hour for delivery from Pizza Hut where the driver can find our complex and the pizza is always hot when it's delivered. read more
