When the unmistakable stench of cigarette smoke wafted out of the drive-thru window after it opened, that was the first taint in this experience. If I could smell it that strongly *outside*, I could only imagine what it was like inside. My fears were confirmed when I could TASTE that cigarette smoke IN MY FOOD after I got home. I still have that smoky taste in my mouth a good 10-15 minutes after my last bite. My wife claims she couldn't taste it, but I have a major aversion to cigarette smoke, so there's no mistaking it when it's there. Friendly people? Sure. Potentially good food? Yeah. But I will never eat here again until the atmosphere inside the building no longer interferes with the food. I haven't been this disgusted with a restaurant experience in a long time.

The salad was full service, fresh, cold, and plentiful which was extremely enjoyable. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the pizza on the buffet. The selection and quantity was very small. This is not a negative for me as I enjoy the basics....cheese, pepperoni, sausage, etc. What bothered me the most is that, given the small selection, they did not refresh the pizza until it was gone. I ate three total slices. The first two were cold for obvious reasons. I sat in the booth for another twenty minutes before they brought a fresh pizza. I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh and hot slice but was now full. I fully understand not wanting to waste food, however, when you operate a restaurant offering any kind of buffet, you must account for wasted food as that's a big part of the model. If you don't keep the food fresh, your clientele won't return. It's very clear they make a good product so I'll try them again at a, hopefully busier time. If my experience is better, I'll make sure you all know it. If not, I'll steer away from the buffet and order a whole pie. Definitely a good place for good pizza! Oh, and the ambiance? What you would expect from a family restaurant. Nothing fancy, but fancy isn't necessary, especially with the very friendly staff.

She gave me a nasty look and took my husband's order and left. Then, my Coke was not carbonated correctly and we asked for a Sprite instead. Aryn (the waitress) leaned over our table and screamed at us that she would fix the carbonation and get me another Coke. I received another Coke a few minutes later and the Coke was still "off" so I didn't drink it, I didn't want to ask for another drink or we would get screamed at again. And so, we waited for our food. And we waited. And we waited. And we waited. We could see the kitchen clearly from where we were and it looked to us like the Cook would get one dish completely done before he started the next. No multitasking, no creating 2 dishes and popping one in the oven and then starting something else, always just one order slowly up at a time. Aryn never checked back with us- she wouldn't even look at us as we tried to catch her attention. We found her to be exceptionally rude and uncaring. In our opinion, she should not be in the Service Industry and is not worthy of being a waitress, let alone a waitress for a very popular Pizza place. She was mean and awful from the very beginning and didn't get any better throughout our visit. There was a large group on the other side that was being served and that's all she cared about. We understand it's a hard thing to deal with 8-10 people and their food and drink orders, but why do we get absolutely ignored for 40 minutes? Can't someone else take over our table and bring us our food? We ordered a Mango Habanero Flatbread and a Sub sandwich. Should those items take 40 MINUTES to get to us? Ridiculous! We should have asked for a manager but we were both exhausted from work and starving .. so we got hold of another waitress and asked for our food to go. After we asked for the food to go, Aryn rushed by dumping the bill on the table and rushing away, and rushing back to pick it up again when she dropped off the food. Oh, and I guess it made her laugh to give us 9 of the red pepper packets and only 2 of the Parmesan packets with our meals. Very funny. That was great. It just proves what type of person she is. We will go to another Johnnys by our work and see if they know how to stage a kitchen so everything flows and how to hire pleasant people. The mango habanero flatbread was not very interesting, after all but my husband did like his sub sandwich.
