Stopped by for a quick lunch. The hostess/waitresses greeted my immediately and took me to a booth. I elected their buffet and salad. The salad was full service, fresh, cold, and plentiful which was extremely enjoyable. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the pizza on the buffet. The selection and quantity was very small. This is not a negative for me as I enjoy the basics....cheese, pepperoni, sausage, etc. What bothered me the most is that, given the small selection, they did not refresh the pizza until it was gone. I ate three total slices. The first two were cold for obvious reasons. I sat in the booth for another twenty minutes before they brought a fresh pizza. I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh and hot slice but was now full. I fully understand not wanting to waste food, however, when you operate a restaurant offering any kind of buffet, you must account for wasted food as that's a big part of the model. If you don't keep the food fresh, your clientele won't return. It's very clear they make a good product so I'll try them again at a, hopefully busier time. If my experience is better, I'll make sure you all know it. If not, I'll steer away from the buffet and order a whole pie. Definitely a good place for good pizza! Oh, and the ambiance? What you would expect from a family restaurant. Nothing fancy, but fancy isn't necessary, especially with the very friendly staff. read more

The customer service here needs improvement. I ordered a large poppin pepperoni pan style pizza over the phone and it was repeated to me as such. When I picked up the order it was a personal pan pizza. I called back to inform them about the issue and asked to pay the difference. I was told that I had to purchase an entirely separate pizza because it was repeated back to me over the phone. I would not have confirmed the purchase if I was told I was getting a personal pan pizza. I didn't feel like the phone operator cared much about the situation. If they are hurting that bad over the difference in the price of the pizzas then they honestly have bigger issues. read more

We order pizza from here all the time. The pizza is almost always good but I have one thing to complain about. Every pizza every where else has the pepperoni on top like normal. For some reason Pasquale's puts the pepperoni under the cheese. It's just not right and doesn't get cooked well. I wish the cooks would learn how to make a pizza correctly. read more

The pizza is always made-to-order perfectly. If they have any questions about your order, they ask or call if it's delivery. The restaurant is always clean when we go in and the drivers always fast and courteous when we order delivery. The lunch buffet is the best value locally. Sandwiches are great, salads large, most of dressings seem to be homemade. My go-to restaurant when I don't want to cook or feed a large crowd. I've eaten at Pasquales's for several years. Their food is amazing! I love their pizza because it's made with fresh cheese and lots of it no skimping here. My favorite is the barbecue pizza and I ordered a takeout of that just the other day Thursday. Their pizza buffet at lunchtime is also good along with the salad. It comes with and soft ice cream. First off, I have never been inside Pasquale's, although I have been a regular customer for about 3 years. They know me pretty much by name. I just order online and pick up en route. I do not go in restaurants anymore. 1. the staff has always been extremely kind to me. I treat them the same way. 2. they have never screwed up my order. 3. my order has always been ready on time. 4. I have ordered a variety of food from the menu and it's always been consistent. This was our first visit to Pasquale's. The food was delicious, but the service was not so good. We arrived to meet some friends about an hour before closing. They ordered before we arrived, and once we sat down the server was at the table asking for our order. I had not even had a chance to look at the menu. I asked for a minute. She seemed very irritated that I was taking a while. I finally ordered, and when she brought my food, it was wrong. That's not even the bad part. We finished our meal, and were chatting. (Remember, this was our first visit to this establishment) the server came to the table and asked if she could check us out. "We closed 20 minutes ago, and I'm tired and getting an attitude) (I looked at my watch, and it was 9:14). We apologized and said we had no idea they had closed. Mind you, there were still dirty tables behind us, so there was no way they were leaving. It was handled very poorly, and if the food wasn't so good, we probably would not return. I loved the stromboli sandwich but its not the same at all they changed the gravy and the bread it was awful.The food bar is not good cold pizza . Will not be back to the new "buffet". Service was good but pizza bar is very limited and slow to bring more out. Only three types brought out. Cheese, sausage and a pepperoni. If you are thinking about Cicis, drive a few more miles to eat at this family owned business instead. This place reminds me of local pizza places I went to as a kid because of the pizza buffet, soft serve machine, and mini arcade. This is one of the only salad bars in Rome, and they make all of their own dressings in house. Sometimes they take a little time to keep the pizzas stocked on the buffet, but it's always hot and fresh. read more

If I could give a zero for this company, I would.  They are literally less than zero though.  The neighborhood this restaurant sits in is just as terrible, tons of traffic, people walking in the streets and unleashed animals.  They get orders incorrect constantly but are great at gaslighting you into thinking they are great!  I don't really know of a better pizza restaurant in the entire town!  Go somewhere else all together would be my recommendation, in another town! read more

Ordered online for a pick up order and had to pay before order could be placed. When arriving for my food, I checked it and was extremely displeased with the size of items. I knew it wouldnt feed 3 people upon looking at it and asked for a refund instead. The manager came out and was extremely disrespectful. He made me feel like I was stupid and a liar! I asked nicely 3 times for a refund because I no longer wanted my order. He refused to refund me all 3 times and asked me to leave the restaurant. I have never dealt with such an unpleasant, unprofessional, and disrespectful manager in my life. I will never order from here again and will not ever recommend a place that refuses to refund customers. Manager is extremely rude and arrogant when they mess your order up. Acts like it's your fault and has actually accused people of being a liar. Used to love this place. This was always a favorite of mine living in Rome. What it was back in the day might not as good now but it still has its moments. The buffet is pizza, pasta, garlic bread, salad bar, and ice cream. Pretty simple but I love the pasta dishes and pizza when they are hot and fresh. If you time it right it could be awesome. Busy nights it's good but go during a slow time and it might be a mistake. For the value it's good and they even have a menu which is also good. If you walk in and see very little on the bar go for the menu. All in all good food read more

Stopped in by chance due to a band competition at the high school. There is a lack of food choices in the area within a few miles. We had the buffet for a quick bite. The food was your basic pizza/pasta buffet. Pizza was a little better than usual. Service was blah. We received our drinks. Offered one refill after than we were already finished eating. Had to go to the register to ask for my bill. The staff was mostly standing and talking by the kitchen which is guess is why we didn't see a server. Food is great, but the pizza sauce seems to be different now, taste like tomato paste straight from the can, no flavor.

The food is excellent. The staff is delightful. The building needs some attention which is the only reason I rated four instead of five stars. The dining room a/c is blowing dust out of the vents, which really needs to be addressed. But really, the food is amazing. One star is too many, but I had to put something. I will NEVER patronize this place again and would recommend that NO ONE does. They need to be out of business, and this is why: Pasquale's Pizza & Pasta at 4011 Martha Berry Hwy in Rome does not believe in proper customer service. After taking a 40 minute round trip and spending over fifty dollars, we got home with a completely burned pizza. They never offered to show it to us for inspection prior to leaving the site, and, when called about the issue, chose to only replace the item if we drove back (they were already closed), or get 50% off the next pizza. On a subsequent call the next day, attempting to reach the owner, the day manager claimed to be the owner, then would only replace the item if we came all the way back with the full original pizza. Otherwise, the 50% deal stayed in place, because she had "finally gotten in touch with the owner" and that was his response. In truth, she had placed the phone on the counter and I could hear her taking orders from walk-in customers and ones on other lines. So, in other words, we would have had to go hungry in order to bring the whole thing back, rather than salvaging what was barely edible. In my home, we try to patronize local, small businesses rather than chain stores in order to support the local economy. In this instance, I will not support this store with one more penny of mine, and I will be campaigning to make sure that everyone who may ever decide to go there knows what they may be facing. Note that I went on their Facebook page and saw a similar complaint from a former patron. I understand that some people do try and abuse the system, but we have photographic evidence of the error, and they just didn't care about that. read more

I had an absolute awful experience tonight. I have eaten here for years and it is slowly going downhill but tonight was the worst yet. The red headed waitress asked if there was a specific pizza I might want so I told her and she said thats fine, it would be out shortley. She then brings out a SMALL not even full sliced 4 piece pizza for my boyfriend... I asked if the other one was going to come out and she responded "well there are still a few slices of the one you want up there and until those are gone we can't put another one out" I walk up to look at what she was talking about and the pizza was dry and old and had been up there for who knows how long! However, my red headed waitress was informing me I COULDN'T have a fresh pizza until I ate the old ones on the buffet! This is ridiculous and disgusting. My time here was wasted and I WASTED my money for not even a full size pizza, old pizza and old bread! The managment and staff need to understand that no matter what time people eat there, the pizza needs to be fresh because that is why people go. I will not be returning and I hope this place turns around! Just know if you go there anytime around 8 you will be wasting your money because the staff apparently starts closing 2 hours before they really close at 10! read more
