This is a good truck in the tiny lil town of legrande a small migrant town. Yes it's dirty yes there's flys. But it's pretty damn good. I get the carne Asada tacos 25 tacos for 40 dollars. You won't be disappointed. Call your order in it will be hot and ready in 20min. There's usually a line.

Some flies, its outdoors so that's always an issue, but they have screens up to keep them outdoors. A lot of people call in orders,then drive to pick them up! You can do that, its a good idea. MOUTH ORGASM!!!!! Hands down the best taco truck in the valley. Their food is so fresh and made to perfection. I think I recommend this taco truck to everyone I know that loves Mexican food. They put avocado grilled onions jalapeños limes on the side of the tacos and whatever else you order. Their burritos are HUGE you can probably eat one be full for the day but still eat another one because you're addicted now. The owner Marco is really nice and has great customer service his workers are cool too, it opens at about 1130am and closes at 930ish. They're always busy but the wait is never more then 15 mins you can always call in the order too. If I didn't live in merced I would probably live at this taco truck. Their meat is pretty tasty their asada is perfection, al pastor is very yummy has actual flavor, their buche and carnitas are always very tender. Very fresh food I recommend everything in the menu I've honestly tried it all. If you love to eat you'll love this place and if you are starving get a burrito you'll be content the rest of the day!

Honestly best burrito and one of the best tacos in central. I'm on a mission to find the best tacos and by far these are one of the best, if not then they are the best. Every ingredient is blended so nicely. They used refried beans which I love and complements with grilled onions. The tacos were loaded up and everything on the taco just tasted so well. I know it looks like a mess but trust me the mess is bomb! Service is usual, not bad. Very nice people, gave some recommendations, they were also very patient. The place is not really for eating and dining because they don't have seats. They only take cash so prepare yourself before coming here. Overall super nice! I will be coming back for more! read more

Funny story.... We spent the day at Yosemite and the menus looked tempting, but my sister-in-law said she had a plan for dinner. I thought she was joking when we pulled up to a taco truck, but no, we ordered & went to the park to eat. OMG! I don't know why this place hasn't been on diners & dives show as a place not to miss. The tacos are always chefs kiss. I used to go to the one in Le Grand, but I seen that they opened a location closer to me and decided to give it a try. The guy who took my order was polite, and respectful, he gave good costumer service. Personally I think where they are located is a good location, since it does attract workers around the area, the college & UC students. Definitely anyone should give it a try! read more

Wow! These tacos were absolutely delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy. Every bite was packed with flavor. They serve it with grilled onions and taco come with cilantro, onion, salsa verde. They only serve salsa verde but it's all that's needed for their taco. The lady took our order and was friendly. When we asked for lemon and salsa she did not hesitate! I ate the tacos immediately and didn't take a photo. The taco truck is behind a market. It's definitely worth pulling over! read more

It is hard to rate this business. We drove the 8 miles east from Hwy 99 to Le Grand to try this truck. Upon arrival we saw 5 customers standing around which prompted us to ask how long the wait for tacos would be. We were informed the wait was 20 minutes. We drive the 8 miles already so 20 minutes seemed doable. As we waited, we kept noticing folks walking up and getting served. One by one folks would walk up and wait a few minutes and then get their order. This happened time and time again. After waiting over 45 minutes, we finally received our order. It appeared this establishment has regulars who get prompt service and then those who are not regulars get fit in somewhere. To add insult to injury, when arrived at our destination and opened our bags of tacos to find we were short two tacos. The food was good, but the experience was not. read more

The food is tremendous here - too bad I'll never back. It was a busy night - I get that. I was quoted 20 minutes for my food. I waited 40 minutes. I saw them putting together a big catering/party order so I knew it was going to be a while. I can live with it. However, when I saw people who came AFTER me (one who probably came a good 20 minutes after I did) getting their food while I waited about 20 feet away from the truck, I had enough and left. I don't expect fast food turnaround times but I do expect to be treated with some sort of respect. I don't think they forgot my order either. If I had went to Planada in the first place - as I ended up doing by the way - I would've got my food and had been home already (instead of standing around nearly an hour like a doofus). read more

Although the quesadilla was one of the best I've had, it was the two kind men who were working that get a full TEN stars. Traveling alone, I was relying my GPS app to get me back to fresno after a day at Yosemite. I had no idea where I was or where to go next when my phone died! They kindly shared their outlet with me and gave me good old fashioned directions to get me back on track. We placed an order for loaded mini "me" potatoes, a chicken wrap, and buffalo wings. At the time of ordering, we were asked to leave our phone number and were informed that the wait would be approximately 20 minutes. After waiting around for some time just in case it was early, we returned to our apartment while the order was prepared. Approximately 20 minutes later, we returned and observed multiple people waiting. After waiting with them again, we asked for an updated estimate and were told it would be another 10-15 minutes and that we would receive a phone call when the order was ready. We returned to our apartment and waited an additional 40 minutes without receiving a call, at which point we came back to the truck. When we returned, we waited alongside the person who was initially ahead of us in line and the person behind us. We were then informed that the ticket for the customer in front of us had been lost, and that her food had been ready for some time but there was no way to contact her. By this point, more than an hour and a half had passed since we ordered, so I requested a refund. We were told that part of our order had already been prepared and that the wings were still in progress, so we would only receive a partial refund for the wings. Because the food was not prepared at the same time, the potatoes and chicken wrap were cold upon receipt. The potatoes required additional seasoning, and the lettuce in the chicken wrap was wilted and appeared old (see attached photo). While the chicken itself was acceptable, the overall quality did not justify either the cost or the extended wait time.
