BBQ Chicken Wings and a lime Jarritos

The mini loaded potatoes are the plate to get. Buttery soft and the toppings? Amazing. Wings? So tasty! Great Friday night find!

One of the best chicken spots. I've tried their whole chicken with potatoes, chicken quesadilla, and hot wings. Everything is delicious and it's nice to have some chicken bbq'd with wood!! So many hot chicken places around now but this place stands out because of the mesquite wood smoked flavor.

Turkey leg with cilantro for garnish

Tried this spot out while at the pumpkin patch, they had turkey leg this day and it was ok. Turkey leg came out warm, i wish it would've been hot. Also there was cilantro sprinkled on top I guess as a garnish which I didn't care for, I like cilantro but did not with my turkey leg. I also got garlic Parmesan oven roasted baby potatoes and again it was ok, it had kind of a tangy taste to it. This is a food truck so I'm not too sure about their seating areas on a daily but they did have a spot for us to sit at the pumpkin patch, although it was just one long table for us to share with other customers. Understandable though as this is a food truck and space is most likely limited. The cashier that helped us was the only one working and she was very friendly and extremely helpful so I did appreciate that.

6/22/24- I got invited to Clovis Rotary "Coming Out" party at the Veterans Memorial. Wild Wild Chick cater the event. The food was delicious. Workers were friendly and service with a smile. Chicken was tender and even the Beef Briskets . Everything was Excellent!

I ordered the chicken wrap. Good portion size but lacking in flavor. It was better than the leftovers I brought from home for lunch bit still disappointing.

    The trailer

Fresh rotisserie, smoked barbecue, fire roasted chicken, food truck in Fresno! Great service and unique concept especially with so many taco trailers around.

Did I lose control and start stuffing my face before I had to remind myself to take a picture and slow down? Yup. Sure did.

Yesterday was hot. Gross hot - 108 in the shade with no wind as the sun was setting hot. My dog and I had walked the 5 blocks to Gazebo Gardens for a quick bite (she had plenty of water and shade during our outing). I had not see Wild Wild Chicks before, and was immediately drawn in by their posted QR code and online ordering. From the time my order was accepted to the time I got my food was 7 minutes (AMAZING!) and I took the food to go to get us out of the heat. When I got home, I opened up the bag to the most fantastic surprises! Sitting on top of my order was a small sauce cup of chicken that had FOR THE PUP written on it! HOW AWESOME IS THAT??? I hadn't even tasted their food yet and had already decided they were getting a 5-star review. After Echo was done with her treat (there was NOTHING left!) I settled into mine in front of the TV. Did I have to back up my show multiple times because I kept stopping to take and send pictures of my food as I ate it to tell people that this was now my food-truck gold standard? Yes. Yes I did. Did I follow them immediately on social media? Yes. Would I have put my dog on my shoulders and fireman-carried her down there and back again in this heat for a second order? Damn right I would! The Loaded Mini Me was outstanding. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu.

I ordered the quarter bird with mild spice, fries, and banana pudding. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the mild spice level was perfect for me. It had a little kick without being too spicy. The fries were really good and seasoned well. I also enjoyed the banana pudding, which was a nice sweet treat after the meal. One thing that stood out to me was how friendly the employees were. Even though it was busy, they were welcoming and provided great customer service, which made the experience even better. Overall, I had a great experience. Between the delicious food and the friendly staff, I can see why so many people recommend this place. I'd definitely come back again when I'm craving hot chicken.

Winner Winner Chicken errr... Lunch…read more So we are always skeptical if there is way too much hype surrounding a eatery. However in the case of Howlin Ray's the hype is justified. The staff were super friendly and on point The Food: (A word on heat. They have 6 levels from Country with none to Howlin. We can take a decent amount of heat. I went medium and my son went hot. The medium was just the right balance with a nice burn especially on the back end. The next level, hot, was also really good and hit close to our limit) The Sando: a nice sized chicken breast perfectly fried. The chicken was moist but well cooked and the batter was seasoned perfectly. The slaw added a nice crunch to things, the comeback sauce added richness and the pickles added a brinney crunch to offset the goodness. The bun put up a valiant effort but about of the way through it gave up and the Sando became a fork affair. The Slaw: It was just okay, on the sando it was perfect, on its own, just okay The Macaroni Salad: Glorious, simply glorious. Whatever spicing they were using with the fries seemed evident here giving it a reddish hue. The the bits of dill, onions, and pickles helped balance the whole thing perfectly. This would be right at home on a North Shore plate lunch. Shake Fries: Perfectly fired crinkle fries shaken in that spicing they use. Dipped in the comeback sauce or on their own they were awesome. Banana Pudding: OMG so good. With the traditional vanilla wafer on top. Rich and luscious it was a perfect end to the meal. The only downside? This location is small and if you want to eat there there are only a few tables. Parking also sucked. Those thinks aside excellent place

The Wagyu katsu you cook on a hot stone at the table which I liked as an interactive dish. The Wagyu cheeseburger was dripping with juice but still had those crunchy edges. The Uni pasta was beautiful & delicious. The Chimichurri prawns I could eat multiple plates of- the shell comes sliced down the middle so you just have to peel it off. For dessert we ordered the Kodo basque cheesecake & Miso chocolate torte. I love a basque cheesecake & the sesame crumble added great texture. The miso chocolate torte made me wish I ordered my own.
