It is individualized to each student (and I have 3 very different children with very different learning and emotional needs!) and there is a culture of kindness that is unique to our school. I cringe when I hear about the bullying going on in other similar private schools or local public schools and I am so thankful. Can't recommend enough!

Serious Safety Concerns - Lack of Basic Protocols…read more I'm extremely disappointed with Marcus Pointe Preschool's lack of basic safety protocols. I recently discovered several concerning issues: No Sign-In/Out Process: They simply take kids at the door with no way for parents to sign them in or out. You do not get to engage the room or the teacher. They have a rope partition and your child is taken by a security guard woman. There's zero accountability for who's dropping off or picking up children. In an emergency how can they know who dropped off the child? No Online Reporting: I couldn't find any of their required reports on the Department of Children and Families website. They are This makes it impossible to know their history or any past violations. No ID Checks for Pickup: They did not ask for ID when my grandsons aunt picked him up. This is a HUGE safety risk! We lost 400 dollars in payments however he never went back. Who are they answering to and who is holding them accountable for the care of your child? I've brought these concerns to the director's attention but was told "this is the way it's always been". I will also speaking to DCF regarding these issues. I urge all parents to carefully consider these safety issues before enrolling their child here. I'm actively looking for a new daycare that prioritizes the well-being of children.

We had a hard adjustment period where coming in seemed to be a two man job for a 3 year old.. but once he became more comfortable he started walking in and even running to the door to beat me before giving me a quick kiss to go. Any concerns I might've had I communicated to the director who reassured me and gave me an at ease feeling. Marcus Pointe Preschool is such a blessing and I'd choose this place over and over again.
