This place is awesome. Right on the boardwalk. We had a root beer float and a soft serve - perfect for a hot day at the beach. The soft serve twist was excellent, super cold and delicious. What a nice spot to spend some fun time with the kiddos. This is a little ocean side gem. There is lots of old school games as well as well priced games that give a great amount of tickets. We went today and got 500 tickets with only $4. The prizes were well worth that. There is also a nice place to eat that has a wide variety on the menu. The cheese fries were good. The Philly cheesesteak was better then I expected too. I would definitely recommend grabbing a bite to eat as you look at the amazing view of the ocean. The only downside is they are a cash only place. No credit cards at all. Even food is cash only. They do however have an ATM and bathrooms if needed. I love an old school arcade more than most people. The number of machines which had issues was a little disappointing. When running a coin based arcade it is extremely important that the coin slots are maintained. Overall a great way to waste an hour but any more than that and you will be disappointed. Every time I'm in Daytona and I have a kid-free evening, I go here. This place is scummy. Like, "white-knuckle grip on your iPhone" scummy. Shirtless teens, checking arcade machines for quarters. Broken skee-ball that will give you 4 balls instead of 9 - and don't count points correctly. Ticket prizes that are way overpriced - 50,000 tickets for a desk lamp, where the average game nets you 8-10 tickets. The wonderful "no profanity and/or sagging" sign on the counter. Creepy back entrance down a sketchy flight of stairs. Food that is absolutely unfit for consumption. So why 4 stars? $5, 32oz draft beer. Two of those, and broken skee-ball is a joy. The motorcycle games become ridiculous farces of sportsmanship between you and whoever you're drunkenly playing against. Basketball games for tickets, playing one-handed because you're holding a quart of beer that you bought for less than the price of a quad-grande mocha. It's an arcade, ostensibly for kids, but made for adults. It's like a Dave & Busters, but way more sketchy. And all the better for it. Shoot clowns in the teeth, 25 cents. A hilarious, mirthful night out with a friend or two - granted, a little social lubricant required - but this place is more fun on $40 than should be legal. Plus the guys that work there don't care at all, so if you want to cheat at skee-ball by standing on the lane and just shoving balls into the 100-point slot, you can totally get away with it. read more

Neat little place that is good for killing an hour or so with $20. We have visited here in the past as it is one of only a couple arcades on the boardwalk in Daytona. This place is nothing like I remember growing up on the Jersey Shore, but it does ok. Something to note is that the entire place, including food and beverage, is cash only. They have atms on site, but I recommend packing cash. In comparing this year from our last visit, there are many more games out of order, which was really lame and showed a general lack of upkeep. I counted at least 15 different games with a hand written "out of order" sign, and we encountered issues with another 4-5 that we played (ski ball malfunction, carnival squirt game not strong enough to actually play, multiple games out of tickets). Service was alright and what you would expect from an arcade. Redemption values are crap, as you would expect. It cost about $3-4 to win the cheapest toy. On the plus side, you can save your tickets with no expiration. read more

Even though I lost at every game I played, I still thoroughly enjoyed myself. Lots of video games, pinball, basketball, photo booths, skeeball, food, and tickets that are given when points are received on different games. You can exchange the tickets for prizes at the ticket counter.We paid $4.50 per shock top beer which was a relatively decent price considering the venue. This place is a dump!! Half of the games do not work but still takes your money. The employees are rude and miserable! Employees will accuse you of lying if you tell them the games aren't functioning. They wont help resolve the problem either and blame it on the wifi as if thats somehow your fault? If you can't hang in an arcade, you can't hang with me. You have to know the power of dropping those quarters and being Ready Player One. XBox can suck it and Wii is for wusses. You can either finish a game like Street Fighter with one quarter - which I have done (Chun Li or Blanka) - or you need to prepare for a life of mediocrity. This arcade - part of the popular Daytona Boardwalk - is very dated but if you want to take your kiddies out and spend $25-$50 on quarters so they can try to score a thousand tickets for an eraser or 6 pieces of candy, then have at it. I am only half kidding. But all of that is to be expected, really. My biggest disappointment was that a number of games were Out of Order. To get the most out of your money, I recommend Fruit Ninja, the ever-popular Hoops game, and Drop Ball. But for all that money, you can get better "prizes" in the dollar section at Target. read more

Cheaters! There is a certain game (drop 50 ping pong balls in a bucket in a minute) that I have mastered back home. Two girls unrelated to me saw me playing and that random balls were being dropped without my pressing the button. The guy working the machines handed me a handful of tickets (250, versus the 500 to be awarded). Games are otherwise fun, but avoid the ticket-run games if you want to actually win the tickets to which you are entitled. read more

It's bad enough that these types of arcades pawn off cheap prizes for way too much money, but the ski ball machines can't add your score properly. I started on the left most ski ball machine. It failed to score a 20 point ball at all. Then it only gave me 40 points for a 50 point ball. When I complained to one of the workers, he moved me two machines to the right, so the third machine from the left. I hit the 100 point hole and it increased my score by 90. So I let the same guy know it couldn't add either. He gave me a quarter back to make up for it. I can only assume this business relies on those poor at arithmetic based on that. I told him the machine requires two quarters to play. He did give me the second quarter begrudgingly. At this point I wonder if it is intentional. I would sure love to see an audit of those machines. I gave my quarters to my wife to play because I had no interest in enriching their coffers. While I came outside to post this review, my wife walked up behind me saying "this is the crappiest arcade ever. So many of the machines don't work or don't work right." read more

An old-skool Coney Island-style boardwalk arcade on Daytona Beach's beachside boardwalk! How it works is, you play games--video games, games of skill like mini-basketball--and if you win, you get tickets which you can turn in for small prizes. Now, the prizes are not much--things like cheap statues of leaping dolphins and candy--but given that you're there to play arcade games anyhow, it's kind of a nice bonus. I pretty much aced the mini-bball and my friend and I cleaned up on tickets and got enough candy to make any fifth grader on Halloween way jealous. The atmosphere is bright, garish, loud, family-friendly, little kids everywhere, but that said very very fun. They also have a snack bar selling cotton candy and other typical amusement park foods. There are go-karts and a Ferris wheel plus other rides nearby--it's a nice way to end a day at the beach or duck into if it's rainy outside. read more

I was here today about 3:00PM with my grandson while the arcade was decent there's nothing like getting ripped off by being over charged for food. Peperoni Pizza is $3.00 but the guy chragef us $3.50. He said the 50 cents was tax, I questioned the guy about the tax rate which he didnt know. Good God where should I begin?! This place is so out dated ,ran down, and just dusty and nasty looking. You kinda don't really want to touch anything or wish you could wash your hands as soon as you leave. It has the basic games ( Most out of order) but games you would find in most arcades today but with a few of its own. However although most games were around a quarter a pop, the more exciting games ranged from around $2-$4. The high light of the day was my husband winning the bonus on that game you try and stop the light in the middle. After feeding them in the ticket counter, which jammed half way though and didn't seem to want to give us are our print out. We had to go find another; but we came up to around 1500 tickets. Which was not bad and had to be enough to get something simple like a small teddy bear. But no not enough for a simple small teddy bear, only enough for the more smaller prizes, which leads me to the best part of the whole experience. (Sigh) These prizes were so random they honestly looked as if they found them in the lost and found bin or scanned the beach looking for items people had left behind. Ex. used coloring pencils, a pair of scissors, random water damaged books by who and about who knows what, some random playing card to a game I have never heard of. They totally killed this board walk! There used to be so many old school games and they have taken the majority of them out! If u look close you'll come across the two or three old school games they left behind. To me, it was just way cooler with all of the old games, creepy mechanical fortune teller dummies and old fair lights. There used to be 4 seperate arcades now there are two and they have added a few fair rides such as a ferris wheel and two kiddie rides. The go carts and slingshot are still there but the go cars were better when they were on the rooftop of the arcade. There are all kinds of snacks and fun to be had...but stay away from the jello shots, they are overpriced and made with flavored beer...they will NOT give u a buzz but they do taste pretty good. I can still see the good old boardwalk i grew up with, but all and all, the changes make the place seem smaller but still a fun place to go before leaving the beach. read more

I usually bartend further down A1A and have stopped here on occasion for years for a beer and lunch, there's usually a woman behind the counter who is super pleasant...this was not my experience today. I had two beers on the patio and was getting ready to go order lunch when an employee started moving around the chairs on the patio and very rudely told me to not put my feet on "his chairs", there was no please, no politeness of any kind. Normally-I'd understand such a request, but I'm on crutches, wearing a knee brace after recent surgery, and not allowed to sit with my knee at a 90 degree angle...and 80% of your chairs were empty-I wasn't being inconsiderate. God forbid I rest my feet on bird shit covered chairs because I can't stay otherwise . The actual restaurants I've been to recently have OFFERED me a chair to put my leg up. THANK GOODNESS I hadn't ordered lunch and could go elsewhere. I've worked in the service industry for 15 years and no matter how busy (yes I know it was busy this week) have I EVER thought it was appropriate to be rude to guests. There are 20 other places on the beach to grab a beer and lunch, I'll be visiting those places from now on (and so will the people who were sitting around me I imagine). A+ for knowing how to run a business in the service industry, maybe pay a little more attention to your guests needs...but no worries, I won't be back. read more

I absolutely love the place....its old and may be grungy to some but they have the best Breakfast with an awesome view right on the beach. I've had their cheeseburger, its excellent and made to order and you can watch them cook everything right there. My kid gets fresh pizza slices for 2 bucks. 32 oz. draft beer for $5 and one of the best Bloody Mary's I've had in a while. It's a dive but a great one!!! read more
