A super cute shop in Cape Charles. It is a small shop with a lot of cute items. Some of those items…read moreare clothing for both adults and kiddos, dog treats and toys, Overture key ring and wallets, some shoes, jewelry, and a few other items. Let friend purchased some dog treats for her pup at home. I almost purchased a key ring and wallet but decided not to. I honestly felt like I could purchase the same item for cheaper. Which I later did find out. Normally I am all about purchasing from a small business. But, as I walked around and noticed the pricing I was high on so many items. It just does not match up with the area the store is in. I saw a cute dress after I passed up the key ring. The dress was $150. Ouch. Cute dress though. The owner was very nice and polite.

A very charming boutique located in Downtown Cape Charles! Love Letters is a more high-end boutique…read moreon the Cape Charles main street featuring women's and children's clothing, pet accessories, gifts and more. It is beautifully assembled and you can tell the shop owners care so much about the overall look and feel. We were in town for a wedding and searching desperately for something classy that said Cape Charles on it. Most of the other shops (though nice) only offer the kitschy, touristy t-shirts that my Mom and I just do not wear. A starchy t-shirt with fish in flip flops with a design that says Cape Charles probably have their place, but it doesn't appeal to us. We found the most lovely sherpa pullover that simply said "Cape Charles" in a stylish font at Love Letters. Whew! We also purchased a very cute collar bowtie for our new rescue dog. I loved their selection of more upscale accessories for your furry friend. This is overall a lovely store worth your stop if you are someone who genuinely enjoys shopping local. To provide comment on the other review: you are getting what you pay for. If you're searching for a less classy experience, there is abundant shopping in the area that is more budget-friendly. I loved this beautiful store! I'll definitely be back.

This is a neat no bones about it shop right off the side of the road off 13 on the Eastern Shore…read more Staff were welcoming and matter of fact. The inside is filled with cool handmade and nautical-themed items. Some look like they're locally handmade while some look like they were probably purchased, sourced, or brought in. I saw some driftwood mermaids, some funny signs, a lamp filled with sea glass, tons of shells for purchase as a group or individually and various other items. What really catches your eye from the street is the large hewn wood slabs you can make a table or some furniture or decor items from. Most of them are pretty reasonable with 3ft by 5ft or so ones costing between $30-50 depending on the width.

Oh my goodness.... this place is heaven for a person that loves all things Beach, and antiques…read more What attracted me first was all the old glass bottles and windows outside. I refinish furniture and windows. So I looked at a few and decided that I just have to come back. The pricing was perfect. I want to saw $10-$15 a window. Totally doable! The man outside was so nice. He greeted us and let us roam and take in the sights. There were also beautiful slabs of wood outsideZ perfect for anyone who does projects, especially if it involves epoxy. We then headed inside. A lot of trinkets and craft like items. There were some antique pieces of furniture as well. Just a little bit of everything. If you are heading towards VA BEACH or going in the direction to Cape Charles from VA BEACH you have to hit this place up. At least get out and walk around to stretch if it's not your cup of tea.
