Unexpectedly great food! Traditional food with local flavors by the water. We ordered Grilled Shrimp, Mahi Mahi fish w rice, Seafood Mac n Cheese, and Baby Back Ribs. The ribs were one of the best I've had. The meat just smoothly fell off the bone. The service was average. It was great at the beginning but then changed once it got crowded. I don't want to love Margaritaville but I know it's my own fault. Can't help but recognize good food.

Ate at the Margaritaville restaurant our last evening. The view outside to the ocean is very romantic and relaxing. Service was decent. Food was ok. Our appetizer lava lava shrimp was the better than our main course. Ordered the citrus shrimp salad with vinaigrette... the vinaigrette was great but overall salad was ok. Shrimp could have been tastier. The mahi mahi dinner with rice was also ok but could have been better seasoned. Seems no island cook was in that kitchen!! Vegetables was a bit under cooked n lacking flavor. If the waitress would have checked in after the dish came we would have definitely given her that feedback to get some tastier vegetables.

No issues from my stay at Margaritaville. We really enjoyed the room and the views. Hospitality was great from Kat at the front desk and Cameron the bartender at the Hillside pool. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary so we didn't spend a huge amount of time at the resort, but the amount of time we did; we enjoyed it.

The service was excellent. The staff here remember your name and welcome you to the resort with margaritas. Lots of activities during the day and music at night. Everything is new because they opened only a few months ago with Phase II under construction. Shoutout to Whitney and Jermaine on the staff. They really made our stay.

First time here and had heard good things, other than pricy drinks. This place is terrible. Got the signature cheeseburger in paradise.....I didn't realize it was that easy to screw up. Tasteless meat, overcooked and half the size of the bun. The "lettuce" was wilted and literally slimy. Tomato (never good on the island) still had part of the stem in the cut. Drinks are beyond pricy, margarita for $11 and can barely taste tequila. Yuck. The only saving grace was our server Kristen who was amazing. I've been avoiding this place, and wish I had continued to do so.

We are staying at the Point Pleasant resort right beside Margaritaville, upon check in we had received a flyer for a free drink with purchase of an entree, and being total parrot heads we decided to go our first night. Our server was sweet but completely clueless, we ordered drinks (1 Marg, 2 wines , and a corona), and handed her our flyer. Sat there for 20 minutes before she brought the margarita out and then asked what the other drinks were again. Another 15 minutes and she informs my brother they were out of corona. So basically it got started off on a rocky foot. We got the nachos to share and a couple of burgers. Again food took forever to be served but a live band had started and we really enjoyed it. The food was OK, were the nachos worth $22? Probably not, but its a signature item and there was plenty to share. At the VERY end, a manager (?) Came to our table to inform is that our flyer has to be "verified" and signed prior to our meal by a person who gives a sales pitch, and therefore could not be honored. OK, so why did the flyer not Mention that nor our server when we gave it to her and ordered when we sat down. He then informed us that the guy who does the pitch wasnt there but we "could come back" I thought it was pretty tacky that they refused to honor it even though honestly they made the mistake. They made a stink over a $9 coupon, even though our family had ordered 4 entrees and drinks. The food deserves 3 stars, but because of the service I docked a star.

    Slice of paradise :)

Is it 5 o'clock yet? Well, it's always 5 o'clock somewhere according to Jimmy Buffet and it's always 5 o'clock at this charming resort aka Margaritaville that is perfectly situated near Water Bay in St. Thomas. This was once a Renaissance that was abandoned (info from the locals) and it was bought by Wyndham and completely renovated and it is awesome! As I write this review they are currently working on phase II and it's going to be bigger and better. There is always something to do, or you can just sit by the pool and relax. There are several TV's showing clips of parrot heads and music playing throughout the resort. They have a new system, well new to me, instead of a card to open your door, they give you a wristband that looks like a watch that can be used to open your door and make purchases. So you can leave your wallet/purse in your room or safe and not worry about jumping into the pool with your wallet. Every room has their own Margarita machine because we're in Margaritaville.

Last night at the island, we decided to try this new restaurant across from our resort. There were live music and perfect sunset. We were greeted by friendly staff and sat outside the enjoy the Caribbean mood. I ordered a chef's special crab cake and my hubby got the BOB burger. It was by far the most delicious meal during our trip. Crab cake was very fresh and the sauce complimented it spot on. Burger was yummy as well. We finished our meal with the recommended dessert Bananarama -- definitely must try on dish. It ended our dinner on a special note and we were two happy bellies :)

    Brand new facility.

The rooms were clean and AC worked great. There is a laundry room available to use as well as a pool & hot tub for guests. It has its own beach front access & lounge chairs available to use free. Our favorite place was Rico's bar located next to the pool. He gave us the best recommendations and we had such a great time hanging at the bar with him. Definitely stop by for a drink at Rico's bar! Personally I wish it was located closer to the main road but we had a rental car so it wasn't a big deal. We stayed on the 3rd floor bldg Y. Our room had a fridge.

We were allowed to check in 2 hours early, so that was a plus. The lobby is small but has cold water, a small lounge, a bathroom and an ATM. But no concierge (front desk person: "I don't know where she is--I haven't seen her in a long time.")--so had to figure out everything ourselves. They had a concierge contact us from one of their sister properties but she never texted back when I asked about a time to connect. Only one restaurant was open on Sunday when we arrived so we were barely in time to order before they closed. The dive shop was supposed to be open but was not. Even though we were advertised a late check-out, we only got 30 more minutes so stored our bags and went into town as they did not have guest showers on property to be able to enjoy the beach after we checked out. The room was nice, clean, and spacious for a studio king. The kitchenette had a blender, toaster, coffeemaker, small fridge, and cups/plates/silverware etc. Bathroom had towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and lotion. Room had a safe. There was a dresser and end tables and a small table and chairs inside. On the balcony, there was a table and chairs and one chaise lounge chair. Each room has its own air conditioner. The property is built into a hill but relatively easily accessible (not ADA accessible but not crazy) despite the stairs. The grounds were well-maintained and the pool was a decent size and clean. At first I was not impressed with the beach because it was a bit rocky especially on one side and had lots of boats on the bay, but after touring four other properties on the island, I realized ours was the best we had seen. The lounge chairs are adequate and towels are provided both in your room and at the front desk. The shore is dotted with trees for natural shade if you want it. The water is clear but a bit rocky. The dive shop offers snorkels, boat rentals (kayaks, SUPs, and paddle boats), sand toys, sundries like sunscreen and tampons, and gear like hats and shirts and waterproof bags. They also offer snorkeling excursions departing from other nearby properties. Shout out to the attendant working the shop this week--he gave us great recommendations. No market or store on property--go into Red Hook (small nearby town) to the shops. Also, warning, you can't go to the glamorous property next door even to have lunch as they do not allow visitors on property. The two restaurants onsite were fine for our needs. One is pizza and sandwiches (Sangria's) and the other is more upscale (Caribbean Fish Market). But definitely recommend going into Red Hook to enjoy the local cuisine! I would recommend this hotel for a less expensive option than many competitors, especially if your party wants to go out and explore and do activities. The beach was the best we saw on the East End, and being close to Red Hook was a real plus. There are lots of options to take a boat road or the ferry to St. John and it's a pretty quick ride. If you want an immersive, pampered experience, this place isn't likely for you. But this is a good home base to enjoy all that USVI has to offer.

There is absolutely nothing you need to travel with other than your sun glasses and bathing suit. The Villa appears to have recently been remodeled. There are brand new kitchen appliances that my wife and I took full advantage of while visiting. We stayed in Siren Song Villa for a week and only ate out for two meals. We took great advantage of the provided cooler making sandwiches for lunch on the beach. The basic spices and condiments came in great use and saved us a lot of money from buying them all.  The bathroom was impeccable as well. It too looked newly renovated. Most importantly, in my eyes at least, the water pressure was superb. There is a large dispenser on the shower wall providing good quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Making it one less thing to pack or purchase. The bedroom is where we spent most of our time when we were inside the Villa simply because there was so much to do we were always out and about, or sitting and/or eating on the absolutely stunning balcony (I'll get to the balcony in a second). Regarding the bedroom, the bed was extremely soft and comfortable. If it wasn't for the breathtaking views and sounds of the ocean that you awake to every morning we would never of gotten out of bed. The living and eating area was nice and roomy. I would like to say fortunately we didn't spend much time in this space. Like I said before, most of our time was spent taking advantage of the balcony. Like every other room the owners significantly thought about the guests here too. Provided is a television, wiFi, Netflix, Roku, a deck of cards, scabble, dominoes, and an abundance of literature that we took advantage of reading while sitting on the balcony planning our next excursion. The main attraction of Siren Song Villa was without a doubt the awe-inspiring views from the balcony. We couldn't spend enough time on the balcony. We began our days there having breakfast and ended most our evenings there having a candle lite dinner watching the sunset and having one last glass of wine or beer while star gazzing listening to the waves crashing against the rocks below. The memories alone of sitting on this balcony starring over the teal blue waters of the Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans at St. John and Jost Van Dyke make me want to plan my next vacation back to Siren Song Villa. Pros: Siren Song is located close to the end of the road away from the pools making it quiet and private. Cons: Due to St. Thomas' terrain Point Pleasant Resort, like most resorts in St. Thomas, is located on a hill. Therefore, there are steps to climb to the pools and beach. Thankfully, there are absolutely no steps up or down to Siren Song Villa from the parking lot. Recommendations: Moe's supermarket in Red Hook, Linquist Beach, Sugar Beach, Rental car for duration of trip, Margaritaville Restaurant (wear flat enclosed water shoes if you're going to walk along the beach- if it's high tide you may have to step into a few inches of water for a yard or two), Point Wellness Spa, and the middle Pool. Over rated: Magen's Bay Beach Don't forget: Ice for the cooler, sandwich bags.

We settled on an all-inclusive sail for eight people (4 adults/4 kids) on the yacht the Bavarian Bliss for sailing 12/18/2024-12/26/2024. All payments were sent via wire and paid well in advance. 3 days before the cruise - My wife and the matriarch of the joining family had an extensive phone call with Captain Bertie and Chef Michelle, our boat crew. They planned the voyage together including excursions, activities, food and drink selection, water toys, ect. Day 1 - We are set to sail at noon. Our driver tells us there is a problem with the boat they are going to take us to a bar so we're not sitting at the dock. It'll be "2 hours max". The day rolls on we find out the boat is missing. After 6 hours at the bar Derek declares "sorry guys, obviously today is on me" to our party. We are then driven to the marina where the boat is docked. We get to the boat and learn Captain Bertie and Chef Michelle, our crew have left the country due to visa issues. We had just talked to them Sunday night, this is Wednesday morning. All the planning we had done with them is now in the ether. The food & alcohol wasn't provisioned based on our talk with the original crew. Our new chef was a total disappointment. She had never worked with this company before and vowed to never work for them again. Her skills, service, and attitude were all very disappointing. Nobody knows where the new captain is and now we're told the boat has a generator problem and that they'll have the part to repair it the next morning and we'll be off by noon. We slept tied to the dock of the marina that night. Boat had a broken A/C in my cabin and nobody was given a run through so we're on a big boat alone, no captain, no instruction and nobody knows how to get anything to work. Day 2 - We are set to sail at noon. Derek tells one of my shipmates the boat was missing yesterday because the captain stole the boat to go Christmas shopping and was fired on the spot once they located him. Workers show up with the generator part but are unable to find a fix. The A/C unit in my cabin is replaced. It's well past noon and we finally get a new captain he found on the island. They had never worked together before. After two days of Derek buying time, 2 hours at a time repeatedly, we needed a resolution. We agreed that he was going to refund day two as he had not delivered a working vessel. Derek offered two remedies 1) The first was to take the boat as is and he would make best efforts to repair it, but if the repairs didn't work we would need to return to the marina each night. 2) The other option was a full refund and we find a hotel which we pay for. At this point, I was leery of Derek and didn't fully trust the flow of money back to me. I countered with if I take option 1, every night we spend in the marina is a free day which he rejected. I now think the boat was never sea worthy as it's CVLA license had expired in May 2024 https://mycvla.com/boats/bavarian-bliss/. I asked him to find a suitable replacement, which he said was impossible over Christmas. Our new captain heard us talking and made one phone call and booked a bare boat for the next day. Derek did pay for the cost for the bare boat. We sailed for about two hours on the Bavarian Bliss in the late afternoon before returning to the marina. We slept at the Marina on night two. The captain did not stay on the boat and we had many issues with the electrical systems - no power, lights that won't turn off, lights that flicker non-stop.
