Patient and professional, MC listened to my concerns regarding their rookie agent with benevolence and patience. Her attentiveness and understanding really struck a nice chord. It's sad that I had to go to social media to get attention for a rookie with a lack of understanding the foundations of listening and learning (and having the facts straight) but be that as it may, it jogged them to reach out and go above and beyond. My take away from this experience is - find out how long the agent has been in business, and their experience with the market you are looking at. If its less than 5 years, they probably are too green for you. I do hope the company gives the young lady much needed mentorship and training. She had spunk to last months, but unbridled, uncontained and uncensored. Hopefully she will rise to be a STAR! Thank you guys for reaching out - that is always a good sign of a well run business. Who knows? Maybe we can work together in the future after all! (Just not with the same agent!)

My husband flew out for showings in January and she took him out in snowstorms for 2 full days since he couldn't reschedule for better weather. When he found a home he loved, she went to work trying to make everything come together for us. There was much back and forth because a developer was also interested in the property. Tara worked tirelessly on the deal and communicated with us frequently, sometimes multiple times a day. When our offer was finally accepted, she kept calling, making sure that everything was going well as we made our way to closing. Everyone she recommended to us was fantastic. She has a great network. I flew out to sign and what a delight to meet her in person! Tara is warm, friendly, detail-oriented, and a great communicator. We went to the walk through and she was great at finding things we hadn't noticed and getting the information we needed to make a sound decision. At the signing she made sure I had everything I needed. And afterwards we walked over to Cape-abilities, a charitable thrift store to look for furnishings, and then over to her office to meet her father whom she works with. The president of this agency - Dennis Murphy is a complete scumbag!…read more He works as a host for Airbnb located at 290 Menauhant Rd, East Falmouth, MA 02536. He and the owner of the property lied about everything and put up misleading photos. We paid $4,109 for one week!!! We found bodily fluids, feces, dirt and mold all over the place, safety issues for kids, and complete disregard for CD19 guidelines. Safety issues include no spindles on a short railing leading to the sun porch, where 2-year old kept falling out. All the faucets in the house have hot and cold separate and hot comes out above 130, so many times kids and adults would turn left handle first and get scalded by practically boiling water. There was mold in every AC unit, on the shower ceiling, and in other areas. Basement has not been ventilated in a very long time and has mold everywhere and water damage on ceiling tiles. One of the guests developed a skin rash on her face and back of her neck after sleeping there for two nights in a row. The backyard has lots of overgrown plants and vegetation that hosts tons of rodents and where multiple propane tanks and hoses are just laying around. There were animal feces all of the backyard. The grill hasn't been cleaned out at all. On the evening of our arrival, we cooked 4 stakes, so the temp was on high, then we put chicken thighs on and the bottom, and the sides of the grill caught on fire. When we opened the doors at the bottom of the grill we were horrified to see a dripping pin filled with oil all the way to the edge - see attached pictures. cd19 issues: This property was not been disinfected prior to our arrival. It looked as if it wasn't event cleaned this whole season, and the AC units have never been cleaned out and disinfected. The house did not have any disinfectants in supply, no paper towels or hand soap or dish-washing fluid, and no toilet paper. all the coach cushions had disgusting stains and some smelled of urine! We have filed complaint against the host and the owner with Falmouth Health Department and State Health Department

The pool at 285 Acapesket Road, which looked fabulous on their website, was filled with nuclear-green pond scum that took the first three days of our week-long stay to clean. The pool guy swore that "while unpleasant to look at, it was safe to swim" but I don't think any self-respecting parents would let their kids in. On a hot-sweaty day, ours ran the other way. The pool had been the critical factor in my decision to rent the property but I was unable to get out of the $3400 contract. Instead they apologized that the toilets had black scum rings upon my arrival and told me to sue them if I wanted more than an apology. Yep, that's just what I want to do during my vacation, wash toilets and file lawsuits! They knew I was a sitting duck and offered $500 for my inconvenience. I took it. I have photos of the pool, but can't post here. Just be warned: look before you leap or you might get soaked in pond scum.

I am not sure why I had such a drastically different experience with Daphne Lowe than the rest of…read morethe reviewers. Perhaps it was the relatively low asking price for the home we were trying to sell and her resulting lack of interest in such a small commission. If this was the case, I would have rathered that she not agree to be our seller's agent. Specific issues with Daphne Lowe: 1. We never received information on comparable units. From our own research, comparable units sold for about $400k, yet she listed it at $385k. She lied about selling the condo across the street in the same association. 2. She listed the property at $385k and then lowered the price by $20,000 within two days of listing it. I am not a real estate expert, but as a home buyer, if I saw this happen for a home that has been on the market only two days, I would assume something is wrong with the home. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the home - the biggest finding from the inspection report was that one of the window latches was loose. 3. She rushed through the whole process, showing the house only a few days after listing it even though she only received 5 showing requests (see number 2 above). 4. Communication was lacking. We did a remote closing and she forgot to let us know when the closing was finished.
