If I could give 0 stars I would. Not thrilled with the service provided at this business. I was…read moretold directly from the doctor I'd have an appointment at a certain time and when I arrived 15 min early I stated I had an appointment at so & so time. The receptionist lady was really rude, and said "we don't give appointment times here, it's first come first serve" I understand but if one of your professionals is telling me I have an appointment at a certain time and another of your employee is saying the direct opposite of what you told me? That's unprofessional. It'd be another thing if I were notified of the "first come first serve" rule right off the bat. Then we were asked where we parked, we then told her. She said we can't park there we have to move our vehicle. Ok fine, I understand - she was really snotty about how she said things. The wait wasn't so bad, however - when it was my turn to go the "doctor" stated I was very sick. He didn't bother asking me what I felt or how? Working in the health field myself that's the first thing you ask a patient what hurts and how and when, what brings you in here? No this doctor cracked me about 5 times in less than 5 minutes. He made me feel worst- I left crying because even then I couldn't walk. Will not be going back.

This office is a disaster! I was in need of orthotics, and have a Medicare supplement plan that…read morecovers orthotics 100%, yet Weil insisted that Medicare does not cover orthotic inserts. I put them onto a group call with my insurer, who informed them that 100% coverage was, in fact , the coverage through my pension plan. When I got to the clinic to be fitted, the Weil staff insisted I was responsible for $500 for the inserts, so I traveled 40 minutes for nothing. The fact that I had the paperwork with me, indicating 100% coverage, they insisted they would need a $500 payment from me. A few days later, they called to tell me that I had been approved for 100% coverage, a full 10 days after I had them speak to my insurer. I had no real complaints about the doctor, but the business office is a dumpster fire. I'm now dealing with a different podiatrist and will avoid Weil like they are COVID.

I had surgery a few years ago with Dr. Weil Jr. After scheduling my surgery for a bone fusion, I…read morehad second thoughts. I went to see Dr. Weil to tell him that I was thinking about canceling my surgery. I am a dancer and I need my foot to perform. I was very clear with him about how important it was for me to be able to dance. I told him my concerns and he reassured me that the bone fusion would help my pain and I would still be able to dance with no problems. After the surgery I had persistent pain. I took almost a year off of dancing to see if that would help with the pain. I had several follow up appointments with no answers as to why I was still in so much pain. He recommended I get a second opinion and asked me to come in to see another doctor in his practice. When I came in, I found out a few minutes before the doctor came in that the doctor was his wife. I was so infuriated, that I wasn't told ahead of time. She came in and I cried from frustration and my ability to not dance. She had no empathy for me. She said I could put some cushions on my shoes to see if it would help. I asked her if I needed surgery or if something was wrong and she couldn't answer but said let's try to fix your shoes with cushion. I was so angry I left. They never followed up with me to see if I was ok or how to remedy my pain. I went to see three other doctors after that and one doctor at the University of Chicago told me that the surgery didn't go well and explained to me in detail why I was in so much pain. I was again in tears and angry. My dancing is very limited because of the pain and my foot is now rolling out so I can't do the things I was able to do before the surgery. I have limited the times I dance and I can't walk barefoot without pain. I have to be in gym shoes with my orthotics to be able to walk without limited pain. I now have to get a revision surgery. I was told it would take a year to recovery fully and I won't be able to drive for 6 months because it's my right foot. My life has completely changed since this horrible surgery. The revision surgery doesn't guarantee I will be pain free but at this point it's my only option and hope to living without pain. I don't know why doctors can get away with destroying people's lives, lying and most of all not having any empathy. My intuition of not getting the surgery was spot on and I didn't listen. Unfortunately, I am paying for the consequences. :( I do not recommend Dr. Weil Jr.!
