We decided to drive to this location rather than stop at a gas station that was just AAA certified. We figured we'd get the best and most honest service and repair work there. Turns out we were wrong. They did a full diagnostic to find out what the problem was and gave us a long list of needed repairs that totaled well over $4k. We pressured them on what was definitely needed so we could drive home safely and they finally said just the rear shocks needed replacement. So we did that. They refused to do it the same day, even though we told them we were on our way home out of town. They told us we needed to stay overnight at a nearby hotel. One of the issues on their list was they claimed the rear brakes measured 4. They later told us the mechanic measured them again and now they were at 5, "but on the side of 4". They said the rotors were bad too and we should get all those repairs they listed done really soon for our safety in the car. They also said the front suspension needed a lot of replacing. In total the other repairs they insisted we needed totaled over $3,500. We drove back home and took our car to the Honda dealership the next day with their list of supposed repairs. Turns out their list of over $3,500 worth of repairs were BOGUS. The dealership's mechanic assured us none of them were in need of repairs or replacement and our brakes actually measured at a 7 (not a 4 or 5). Very glad we didn't listen to them!!! They're liars. Don't trust them!!! Go someplace else where you can find trustworthy mechanics!!!!

Choice Home Warranty

Home Warranty :An expensive lesson…read more For over 20 years I have used FIRST AMERICAN HOME WARRANTY. This May I switched to CHOICE WARRANTY.. WHAT a BIG MISTAKE. First American Home warrant covers upto $3,500 in Kitchen appliances. CHOICE just offered to replace our $3,800 Professional Duel POWER CONVECTION RANGE for $571. I dont know who CHOICE PAID for a 5 STAR Service rating. CHOICE gets a BIG ZERO in Customer Service and appliance warranty. As of today I am back with FIRST AMERICAN HOME WARRANTY. I recommend you switch your Home WARRANTY to FIRST AMERICAN HOME WARRANTY. before you too are financially made aware of the coverage difference!

I don't know about other home warranty companies, but I would not recommend Choice. The reason is…read morethat when home appliances such as a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, air conditioner, or water heater break down, they only use their associated repair companies. Many of these repairmen are not professional or certified, and they often find reasons to deny replacing or properly repairing items. For the past ten years, I have paid for their most expensive service plan. During that time, several of my appliances stopped working, but when I called Choice, their repairmen gave unclear diagnoses and denied coverage for all of these items. The only things they ever "covered" were very small items costing under $50, such as a cheap water faucet. Even then, I still had to pay the $45-$50 service fee for each occurrence, and my larger appliances were never repaired or replaced. The most recent issue is with my washing machine. One of the parts was missing, but Choice told me it was not covered by the warranty. Their "certified" repair person even had to check YouTube to figure out how to fix it! Water is still leaking from the top area, but nothing was reported to Choice, and the machine was never fixed or replaced. My property agent originally told me that I should have a home warranty. However, after spending over $8,000 with Choice in the past ten years, I still had to replace my washer, dryer, AC unit, and water heater out of pocket. Altogether, I probably spent more than $10,000--even though I had their warranty. I truly hope you do not go through the same bitter experiences that I encountered with this company.
