I understand being over your job, but my friend did nothing wrong. Was not rude, and in return got spoken to like a child. I don't know what the chip on this person's shoulder was, but if you absolutely HAVE to to be vile to everyone you speak to, try a back of the house position because you are actively damaging your bar's reputation.

The bartender was solo up until it turned into a cash bar -- she was working really hard! The music was at a great volume, and food was being passed around regularly. It's really a great space for having a private party. And on top of that, while it can fill up quickly, there's free street parking outside. I do wish the bathroom was lockable -- the stall within there is, but otherwise things could get awkward. Pro tip -- it's behind the stage.

It's a big room for around 100. The photos don't do it justice. It's cozy and bright and fresh, with banquet-type chairs and tables, and a full bar that seats around 6 in comfortable padded high-back chairs. We had immediate service from both the bar and kitchen, and were served quickly by friendly staff. The room was full, so maybe some others had longer waits for service. We had prosecco and Jack&ginger, both fine. Food arrived quickly, too, and it was perfect! You might not expect it from a menu that is mostly fried, but wow again, the broiled salmon was perfectly creamy, tender, fresh and flavorful, and the fried fish was generous and very fresh, maybe the best i've ever had! There's a snack bar selling sodas, ice cream, chips, and candies to benefit the theater. At a break in the music, they sell fresh hot pizza from Peace a Pizza, a independently-owned branch of a pizza chain, whose owners are active in the community. And several times recently we brought food in from nearby bbq and mideast restaurants. Alcohol isnt allowed because it's a public park. There are benches that seat about 50 people, centered in front of the raised stage, and 90 per cent of people bring their own lawn chairs. The acoustics are great, and it's fun to hear bands cut loose with their big speakers when i've mostly seen them in local bars. I'm talking about you, Crush! People often dance in front of the stage. The amphitheater is ringed by shady trees and a handful of picnic tables. There's lots of parking a short walk through some woods, and there is a good amount of disabled parking (permit required) right up by the snack shack. If the hill up from parking is too far or too steep for you, there is a drop-off area up near the shack. There are ample clean restrooms and port-a-potties there too. We've probably been to half-a-dozen shows here this summer! The fresh air and sunshine are so sweet!

Since it's a smaller venue, anywhere you decide to sit provides a good view of the stage and is not a long walk to the restrooms and food trucks. The outdoor venue is very well maintained and there is a slight elevation as you go towards the back area. This is good because you can see the stage better no matter where you position your lawn chair. There are enough trees to provide a good amount of shade. There was a slight breeze in the air which made it more comfortable. For the kids, they have a sand box and we observed this really helped to keep them occupied, during the show. There is ample free parking available and you can also park on the high school grounds which is across the way from the venue. Plan to get there at least one hour, before the show, to get a parking space closer to the entrance as well as to select a preferred spot for your lawn chair. It's best to sit a little further away from the stage because of the speakers. The regular restrooms were clean and they additionally have a few portable restrooms (though I do not use those). It's kind of an interesting out-of-the-way location. This is an intimate venue that is really for people who want to listen to the words and the lyrics of amazing singer-songwriters. The sound level is for listening, not for promoting hearing loss (like multiple other venues I've been to over the years.). I came here last night with the SO to see a friend play who is based in Nashville, but was making a mini-tour through this part of the country. They hold a show (on average) one Saturday per month. When I say intimate, I mean you're at most 100 feet from the stage in the back row, and it only holds a few hundred seats. This is run by a non-profit so prices on everything are very reasonable. So reasonable, in fact that you may want to make a small donation. They also accept used musical instruments as part of another program to get music into the local community and schools. If this sounds like your kind of place, then it probably is. They deserve to be patronized. Bonus: Beer, wine, coffee, tea, homemade cookies, and singer merch in the back. Where else do you get to shake hands and tell the artist what you thought of their show without buying a VIP ticket?
