Came for a sip n paint event and had a wonderful time. I have previously brought my daughter here for a summer camp and wanted to check it out. I am by no means and artist. I think the last time I did any type of art work was when I was in high school. I registered for the class online. It's a national chain but this is the only location in Maryland. When you search the calendar you are able to see what painting will be done on each date. There was plenty of parking available in the lot located to the rear of Pinots Pallet. Upon arrival I was able to check in and locate my canvas. They had the paint, brushes, and a apron already laid out. While waiting for the class to begin I went over to the bar to order a cocktail. The bar tender for the evening was Alexa and she recommended a drink named the Dirty Paint Water. It's was definitely name accordingly with the appearance it had. But it was light and refreshing on a warm summer night. The bar was full service and you can order a variety of options. The class was taught by Erin. She was very entertaining and enthusiastic. You can tell she loves what she does. She was very patient and provided excellent introductions that were easy for a novice like me to follow. I had a great time. They do not service food so you may want to eat before coming. The class time was 2 hours but after it was finished they didn't rush everyone out. I would definitely come back again. read more

Stopped by today for our first time and it happened to be Wine Down Wednesday (50% off wine I believe). My friend got a $6 glass of Moscato and I had the Picasso Punch which was delicious and only $9! Our artists were Rachel and Kerri. I believe Ron was on the bar. All 3 were amazing! They mentioned they have open studio for 2 hours every Tuesday and it's free if you bring in your painting from class. I will definitely be coming back to do some last touch ups on my painting! My friend signed us up to do a painting of pink flowers. I was very nervous, as I don't typically like pink flowers and would have preferred to do a mountain or beach scene. We showed up for paint night at 6 pm, but were told we were quite early. We left our belongings and set off for a snack. We returned a bit late around 7:10 pm. Austin had begun his tutorial but thankfully was kind, despite our tardiness, and helped catch us up. We jumped right in. What I loved the most about the paint experience, aside from being with my close friend, was Austin! Austin really made the experience 5 stars! Sensing my desire to go rogue (with everything- paint colors, design, medium), Austin provided me with the tools and tips to be successful. At one point, I decided to put a piece of the plate on the painting because the paintbrush coloration was perfect! Did Austin judge? No! Austin encouraged me to keep going with it. I love the finished product! I had a really great evening! I appreciated Austin's supreme knowledge and professionalism! Would definitely come back for their instruction! read more

I really liked this location and it was a great night out. The bar had reasonable prices. The painting activity is fun and I liked the artwork. My only complaint is that I had a very hard time hearing and following the instructor. I don't know if the microphone had a problem, or if the background music was just too loud to be able to focus on her voice, but I couldn't hear her, and struggled to keep up as a result. This place is so phenomenal! I love to do sip and paint and often go to another franchise but was so pleased when I found this one! The staff are so friendly !!!! Also, a lot of regulars attend and very friendly with each other which was also wonderful to see. They were welcoming to me and suggested I come more. I originally got the dates confused of which day I scheduled to paint and came a day earlier hahaha. They were all so nice and welcomed me to still participate. I enjoyed the different cidars and even made a purchase of some wonderful scented candles for myself and my family. I returned for my actual painting day and was so pleased and really enjoyed the class. The ambiance is so nice and calming. I truly love this place and will be returning. Also! There was this amazingly wonderful scented soap in the restroom, I really hope they sell it so I may purchase it from them!!!! Where would my family be without Pinot's Palette in 2020? It's hard to say, but this place has saved us on many a rainy Covid day and given us so many memories of family fun. I've had family visit from out of town and poo poo the idea of painting (as they deem themselves unartistic) but then, after they finish, they are so happy and proud of themselves. What a great place to sip wine and paint. The instructor was so friendly, patient, and bubbly. He made the whole experience so lovely and fun. Also, the place is clean and they provide you with all the material that you need to paint your painting. What I loved the most is that they let you pre pick the painting that you want to do before you come! I loved the painting i did. The only complaint that I have is that you cannot bring your own alcohol. You can however buy your own drinks at the bar that they have there. You can get snacks there too. We had a birthday party for our daughter there, which included 13/14 kids and parents. The space was big enough for everyone to mingle and just be. It is a beautiful space that has everything you need. Our Artist was very friendly, kept time moving while giving time for kids to be kids. This place was awesome. Decorated so cute and very spacious inside. Everything was laid out for you when you walked in and there are a ton of drink options at the bar. You can open a tab and she will come to you and raise your drink if you raise your hand. Kat was an awesome instructor. Very funny and encouraging. She really wanted us to be creative. She went a little fast which made it hard to keep up but she was very attentive and would come over and help you and encourage you. Definitely would suggest! read more

I suggest bringing some snacks to munch on while you paint and drink. We got nachos from the nearby Mexican place because they do not have food options at Pinot's. This is a fun way to spend a couple hours with some friends or on a date. I feel repeatability is moderate, though, since if I'm going to be coming a lot, I'd rather it be for more formal instruction to learn how to paint than just following along with the instructor. However, that's also a strength of this class: You really don't have to have any sort of artistic ability. My husband's pencil drawings can be a bit... primitive... and his animals for some reason are frequently missing limbs, but you'd never be able to tell that from his painting. It's great for if you want to have fun, then, but don't really have the time to get good at whatever you're doing, which is oftentimes helpful for having fun in the first place. It's laid-back here, and ambience is nice; my husband liked the music, and lighting was enough to see what you were doing well, without being sterile. Staff is upbeat and encouraging. They are also attentive, coming by to show you a painting close-up so you can better see what you're trying to emulate, or giving you new paper towels when yours are soaked through. It's entirely possible that my husband never bothered to read the "extraneous" information when he booked this, but we didn't realize that you were allowed to bring your own refreshments. I recommend doing this, since our class was 3 hours long, and they do take some short breaks to wait for the paint to dry at times. If you forget, there's a Subway and a grocery store in the plaza to buy stuff from. They have alcohol in-house, but as neither my husband nor I drink, we can't comment on that. Aprons are provided, though it doesn't get too messy. I'd still be careful because they use acrylic paints. They do take pictures during the class and post to Facebook. I don't know how it would work if you have concerns about this. read more

My company recently used Pinot's Palette to guide us through a teambuilding activity that was a little outside the box of a normal paint & sip. I had been carefully planning this activity for about a month with a different vendor who bailed out on us one week prior to our event. Frantically, I started making calls and found Lisa and Rod at Pinot's Palette. I explained to them our idea (8 6-foot murals that our teams would collaborate to all draw the same image, putting their own spins on it), and they jumped right in. They special ordered canvas for us and cut it to size, sketched our image out, and were able to come to us at our specified time and location to host our estimated 50-60 attendees. They not only turned this around in no time for us, but were FANTASTIC. They provided set up and clean up and all supplies needed, they were cheerful and helpful, and in short, my team had a wonderful time! I can't say enough wonderful things about Pinot's Palette. If we have any future event that comes close to what they do, I will definitely be calling them!! Absolutely fantastic. read more

I had my birthday celebration here and it was great! The staff was very helpful with setting up for my birthday. The ladies were patient and they gave lots of instruction to most of my guests as they were all new to painting. The class was fun. The environment was very laid back. My friends and I were able to laugh and enjoy our time relaxing and celebrating. I would absolutely recommend any first timer to take a class with the ladies there. It had been what felt like ions since me and my girls schedules meshed for a link up. Heard about this amazing venue. Well to my surprise, a child was at this one (yes, on a school night ) ... my issue is If you're not old enough to sip .. you shouldn't be @ paint and sip... I left my kids home to hang with my girls and catch up... not to include, the daddy-daughter-duo seemed a bit agitated by the adult fun... I'm all for daddy daughter time, but don't kill my vibe while doing so.
