The place only had a handful of tables occupied, which was great for us, since we did not have a reservation. It did get busier as the night went on. We were seated at a lovely long table, near the front of the restaurant, away all the other groups, which was awesome and we had a quaint, lovely, family dinner. We all agreed, the menu isn't very inspiring (it really hasn't changed much since I dined here several years ago), but we were there for the company. Some of the group members thought their food was overcooked and ho hum (the chicken wings in particular). I ordered the nachos and thought they were fine, and it hit the spot. Fries were good. My hubby did complain about a bug at the bottom of his wine glass, but we weren't sure if it landed in there prior or after, so we just dismissed it. The service was super friendly and our waitress checked in on us when appropriate, but was not hovering. We weren't rushed out and we were given time to enjoy our food and just hang out, which is why I am giving this restaurant a 4 star. I do wish they added new, fun items to their menu. More bar inspired apps would be nice and updated main meals.

I tried several times to come here but parking is a serious issue!…read moreIt used to be an old Volkswagen dealership and the garage next door is still in operation, very busy! I made it in after a dinner on a Thurs eve. I stopped to buy some beer to take home. I am into sours, fruit beer, selzetrs and they had a good selection. BUT, 4 regular beer cost me $30! Damn! Plus, their regulations stated that I needed to buy an 88 cent cookie to leave with the beer! THEN, they stated they had ran out of cookies. This was getting all to complicated for the purchase! Staff member was nice enough. Not her rules, right? So, I was charged anyways in case the manager looked at the slips and I was given a radler sample up top at the bar to replace the cookie. That sample would have been free anyways! LOL! Anyways, the inside bar area was nice enough. The outer area was just OK. I mean, you face a very busy street and all is concrete. Some picnic tables. 2 food trucks were out there that I have yet to try but they were closed for the night. The Beer Co. is very unassuming from the outside. You would not know it was a brew place unless someone told you about it. Would I go back? Sure, but will skip the beer to go. A shame as they were very good. Many brews brought in from other brew places too.

They've partnered up with some food trucks that park on their property. You can sit outside or inside the brewery and eat food from the food trucks and drink their beer. As of our most recent visit, they only had one food truck there (Ad Mare), but in the past they had more (Walking Tacos used to be there). There's free parking on-site, but it's limited.

Looks like they probably do some concerts since they have a nice stage set up in the back. Servers were really friendly getting us situated with our daughter and the wagon we use to transport her around. Very family friendly as we saw several other parents with strollers as well. Nice menu and a lot of good beer options. Opted to try their radler and it was delicious, before I remembered I'm not supposed to have grapefruit. The waitress was quick to get me a replacement Guinness. The food came out pretty quick. My wife got the Tuna Poke Wonton, which came out deconstructed I guess... actually ended up working out pretty well. It was quite good, but the poke wasn't nearly as fresh as what we are used to in California. My chicken burger was delicious, the cranberry and brie on it made me feel like thanksgiving. It was really hearty and heavy for a chicken burger, but worth it! The highlight might be the kids menu though. The kids can pick from 4 items Poutine, Fish & Chips, Burger & Fries, or Mac n Cheese. But, it comes with a drink and dessert. Clearly our daughter was on cloud 9 getting chocolate milk and ice cream included in her meal. Her poutine was quite good too, not too salty, nice gravy flavor and melty curds. If you're in the area this is a great stop for food or drinks or both.
